Purchased two pairs of shoes to try. Did not fit. Returned ( cost $20 ) but this was nothing compared with the savings I made. Purchased another pair of running shoes which were a special size. Sportitudes price $169. Ebays price $200. No one else.in Australia had these shoes in the wider size that I needed.
Good shopping experience
Having had problems with other online retailers (one major sports shoe retailer still hasn't replied two weeks later to a very short enquiry about delivery), I decided to try Sportitude.
I'm glad I did. The enquiry I had was answered very promptly and helpfully - thank you, Rhys - and the Brooks walking shoes I ordered arrived a couple of days later. (They're exactly what I wanted too.) I wouldn't hesitate to order from Sportitude in future.
Amazing service from Sportitude!
I purchased a pair of Brooks Ghost 13. Unbeknownst to me, they run a little smaller than the Ghost 12's so I had to return them. The company was prompt in replying to my email, friendly to deal with and had posted out a bigger size as soon as Australia Post had initiated tracking on the return. Very impressed with their service.
I also bought a pair in a different colour from Brooks Australia direct at the same time....I'm still waiting for my refund Brooks!!!
I definitely know which company I'll be buying from in future!
Used shoes, not new
I bought a pair of new Asics for my wife's birthday and paid a little less than direct from Asics. They shipped and arrived very quickly. So I was very disappointed to open the box and find a pair of shoes that were clearly used. The condition was fine, but the soles were quite dirty. I decided to clean up as best I could rather than deal with the grief of returning them.
On having to chase up an unacknowledged internet purchase ($135 Mizuno shoe), where I was asked to look in spam for what turned out to be an unsent email, I made a complaint about a brand of ASIC that I have purchased over the years called gel lethal burner. They have a great tread pattern and I have purchased some six pairs over a period of years for that reason. Unfortunately, they have an inherent weakness on the top in that the material is not strong enough and they all tear around the bridge where the material meets the upper leather. The ...shoes could be worn for months more if this didn't keep happening. According To Sportitude I shouldn't be wearing for tennis as they are for touch footy?? They are sold as a grass/turf shoe and I play grass and synthetic grass tennis. No joy whatsoever from this guy. I have to call the ASIC's rep myself and the crap that Sportitude tried to fob me off with was a joke. Ended up in an unnecessary argument and he hung up. I wasn't looking for anything necessarily in response to my complaint but got annoyed at the rubbish he was spinning me. Didn't come down in the last shower mate! Poor, poor customer service.
Archaic returns process and painful experience
Fast delivery, cheap prices but good luck if you need a return for faulty product.
- Mizuno shoes had the back heel fabric rub off in less than a month after low usage causing blisters so have to wear 2 pairs of sox in the meantime.
- Sportitude says they don't handle returns a claim needs to be made directly with Mizuno so lack of ownership there.
- They as for 3 photos to prove the fault as Mizuno don't need the shoes back just the photos so I supply the photos as requested and i'm told to wait as it could take some time
- Credit is approve...

Excellent customer service and prompt delivery - kudos to Kyle who was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend purchasing sporting apparel from Sportitude.
Easy Returns & Exchange Process
I ordered a size too small in runners. I considered keeping them and hoping they would stretch because of the hassle involved in returning products online. I shot off an email to Sportitude to see what was involved in a return & exchange process. I received a prompt response and the process was explained. Return at my cost and they would send the bigger size at their cost. The person I was emailing checked what sizes were available, I selected a size and she emailed back to say a pair had been set aside for me. I sent the runners back and had the new pair very promptly. I have never received such excellent service to exchange, so many companies make that process deliberately difficult.
Cannot fault Sportitude's online service!
Having bought shoes twice from Sportitude I won't go anywhere else in future.
The Live Fit video service by Josh removed any concerns I had about ending up with badly fitting/not fit for purpose shoes. In fact both pairs, including a brand I had never used before, fit perfectly and do the job for road and trail, again, perfectly. After the video consultation Josh recommended 3 road shoes by email with an explanation of their different attributes. Subsequently he recommended other shoes for rough track use when I emailed about a second pair.
I've never had this level of knowledgable advice in a bricks and mortar store, the shoes arrived within days and were either the best or next to best priced I could find.
Amazing customer support and experience with every purchase
I've ordered from Sportitude multiple times in the past, but the last two experiences have stood out above the rest.
I ordered a pair of New Balance 1080 v10's, with stock expected in later that week. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and Toll's cyber attack, there were multiple delays with Sportitude receiving the shoes from New Balance. I received constant, unprompted updates from Rhys during this process. I was offered the option of a full refund or to wait, as Sportitude couldn't get an ETA from Toll, so took the refund no questions asked.
I...re-ordered the shoes a month later once there was confirmed stock. I had a problem with one of the shoes rubbing and causing a blister due to some loose thread on my ankle. I raised this with Kyle who contact New Balance and submitted a claim for a manufacturing fault. This was approved and a replacement pair is being sent out to me this week. Every time I have dealt with a member of staff from Sportitude, they have been excellent and bar the above delay (through no fault of Sportitude), I have always received my orders insanely fast. Even when I re-ordered the New Balance shoes and paid for Standard delivery, Rhys bumped it to Express delivery free of charge due to the inconvenience of the previous order. I will always use Sportitude for my runners orders moving forward.
Terrible delivery time and customer service to support it
I ordered my son a pair of shoes that arrived 11 days later. It took 7 days for it to leave the warehouse then 4 days for Australia Post. They didn't fit and when I asked for a refund, they offered an exchange on a different style as they did not have the size I was after. I informed [name removed] that I wasn't prepared that wait another 11 days for an exchange to which he assured me that a soon as I send him the tracking number for the return from Australia post, he would post them out. The following day I did that and 7 days later when I sti...ll didn't receive my shoes I phoned Sportitude up and spoke to [name removed] who said the shoes just left the warehouse the day prior. Once again, 7 days it took for the warehouse to release the shoe. When I complained about the time it took to receive my shoes, I was told that there was worse things happening in the world at the moment. Seriously, if I wanted to wait 11 days for shoes, I would pay half the price and order them from China. Your website it blaming delivery delays on Australia Post when your lazy staff are the issue. 7 days to pack shoes that has happened on both occasions, not a one off. Your customer service and website in lying about delivery times needs adjusting to admit your incompetence in managing staff or your warehouse or just plain old laziness.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Greeth and Kyle, both have been amazing. I bought the wrong size so had to send them back and exchange, nothing is to hard, their communication is second to none. Thank you Sportitude team, I can’t wait to get my new shoes tomorrow. Really wonderful friendly service!!

If I could up the star rating, I would. Have bought two pairs of Nike (women and kid's cross trainers) on two separate occasions. Both pairs were on sale, well packaged and arrived super fast to Qld. At this stage, it's hard to go past buying through Sportitude. As old Arnie once said, maybe three times: "I'll be back!" Cheers Sportitude!
