1 Santina R.  · What’s the point of having a loyalty system if your app does not work , Don’t be surprised if people stop buying from your stores

I understand Starbucks is a fast casual food and beverage chain but unfortunately, I am deeply concerned about my experience at Starbucks Chatswood and thought I should raise this matter. 02/07/2026 at 9:32am, I ordered two drinks (1x Grande White choc latte and 1x venti sweet cream cold brew total of $16.60). -Both drinks were made within… Read more

couple of minutes. -I drank the cold brew which tasted average and then tried the white choc latte which was lukewarm and tasted average taste at best. I was surprised how sloppy this drink was made even in fast dining standards. -I decided leave most of the drinks and left the store in disappointment and returned to work. -About 15minutes later I felt discomfort in my stomach. I never had any issues with any type of cold/hot drinks and food at Starbucks stores in my life across many countries. -I contacted Starbucks through using the online form and received a call from the store at 10:26am. -During this 2m36sec phone conversation, Staff member was not helpful and told me "it's common drink" and dismissed my concern and told me to "visit a GP". He did not seem keen on resolving this matter so I hung up and returned to work. I am cautiously monitoring my condition.

New orange cream not only tastes very artificial, it tastes positively chemical. The friend I was with tried one sip and said ‘nope,’ and I tried 3 sips. Tasted chemical and left a chemically aftertaste. Won’t try that again!

Starbucks Haymarket Sydney the lady who served today at 330 pm made the wrong orders twice and blamed my mother and argued she told her the wrong order and we had customers heard my mum say the right order . Took over 20 min and did not say sorry . The man who made the drink was nice though .

Pretty disappointed. Everything looked frozen and not fresh at all. The croissant was dry, the cinnamon roll was hard. Definitely expected better quality for the price. Won’t be ordering these again.

For me, visiting starbucks stirs up nostalgia as I used to work in one of the aussie stores that closed all those years ago. The coffee to me, is quite diverse in flavour (once you go beyond the roast used instore), and the desserts are still elite in my opinion - they were always delivered every day super fresh which you dont hear of much with… Read more

other places!.

The best part to me, is the warm music that welcomes you and the fact the coffee always tastes the same wherever you happen to be in the world, its such a sweet memory for me

We have just been to our local Starbucks in Butler Western Australia 6038 again. We are writing this review because the staff at this branch are absolutely phenomenal! One of the key members of their crew is called Ben, he has never failed to make our family members and everyone we see come into the store feel so welcome. He welcomes you when you… Read more

walk into the place and is so helpful and even after you have made your choice he follows with “if you need anything else please let me know”. The rest of the staff are only a whisker away with their friendliness and help. We absolutely love the feeling we get when we go to ‘our Starbucks’ as we call it and we have been waiting for 16 years for Starbucks to arrive in WA and thanks to Ben and his team we now have a our wish come true. Thanks From the Mitchell family

I waited 1 hour for 1 refresher and they only started making it when i asked about it 30 minutes after the order, still had to wait 30 minutes for it after the polite ask to please start making the order. It was completely watered down and there were barely any customers so i thought it wouldn't take this long.

Starbucks has officially entered its delusional era. I walked in expecting coffee; I walked out feeling like I’d just paid luxury‑resort prices for something that tasted like it was brewed by someone who hates their job and possibly me personally. $22 for two coffees. Not fancy coffees. Not “limited edition, hand‑foraged, moon‑kissed beans.”… Read more

Just… coffee. Two basic drinks that should not cost the same as a decent lunch.

And for that price, you’d think they’d at least be fast. Or good. Or, wild idea: both. Instead, Starbucks has mastered the art of taking an eternity to produce something that tastes like it was made during a power outage.

Overpricing that borders on comedy

At this point, Starbucks isn’t selling coffee, they’re selling the idea of coffee wrapped in a premium price tag. It’s like they’re daring customers to complain. “Oh, you don’t want to pay $11 for a latte? Then go somewhere else.” And honestly? I plan too.

Quality that’s falling faster than their customer patience

The drinks taste different every visit, and not in a fun, artisanal way. More like a roulette wheel of disappointment. Burnt one day, watery the next, and occasionally both at once. A real talent, honestly.

Service slower than a government department on a Friday

Why does it take 20 minutes to make a flat white? Why does the staff look like they’re trapped in a hostage situation? Why am I standing there watching three people stare at a cup like it’s a bomb they’re defusing?

The vibe is gone

Starbucks used to feel warm, reliable, a little treat-yourself moment. Now it feels like a place where joy goes to die while you wait for your overpriced drink.

⭐ Final Verdict

Starbucks has become the perfect storm of high prices, low quality, and glacial service. If I’m paying $22 for two coffees, I expect them to be life‑changing, not life‑questioning.

Ummmm so, over $9 for a tall hot white chocolate mocha with almond milk! That's insane & so over priced. The last time I bought one was just around $7.50? We go as a treat once a month, coffee is ok but we won't be back, too expensive. Ps I just took a sip & for the 2nd time in a row they've not put a shot of coffee in it & I've had to drive back to sort it out. Not good enough! Show details

BEWARE the Starbucks Scam !!! Starbucks sends out email promo's (buy $25, get a $5 card on us). You buy the card, you don't get the promo. I spoke to a supervisor (Michael) and they claim it was a limited time offer. I replied that their website allowed me to purchase, and did not say "promo not valid" etc. 3 months later, 7 emails, and 3… Read more

calls to find out that they don't honor their promo.

I feel that they use shady & false advertising in their promos ... and not inform the customer at point of sale that the promo is not available.

Putting it nicely, 20 minutes for a hot chocolate and a latte was ridiculous. Add to that, six people getting their drinks before us was unacceptable (and they came in after us to order). When I typed up on my phone to query the delay (I’m non-verbal), it took less than a minute to make the latte. The smell of burnt coffee beans hung in the… Read more

My favourite saying at the moment is “you get only one chance to make a first impression.” They blew it. Return here (or any Starbucks outlet) - not a chance.

Overpriced and terrible coffee. Why is this even in Australia? Keep your corporatised american overly sweet mass produced coffee away from us. Every local aussie coffee shop is better.

I ordered a Pumpkin Latte for the first time, seeing as the Americans can’t get enough of them in the lead up to Halloween, but it was undrinkable. Took me a while to figure out what I was tasting and the best way to describe it is if you made a weak milky coffee in a used ashtray, that is exactly what it tasted like. Grossest thing I’ve ever had. Show details

Starbucks if over priced, poor quality with food and service, no customer service to call when Starbucks app don't work for reward points, especially at head office and the Maribyrnong Store in Melbourne. Hello I have just went to Starbucks in Mandurah and have found out that the pink drink is awful and the cookies are hard also very plain. I have spent $12.95 on an unpleasant meal. The donuts are out and I will be sure to never come back.. I’m not trying to be rude but please try and make your food/drinks better. Show details

Tumbler review – D Grn Ss Tmb 1900 (SKU 011161900): This product feels luxurious in the hand and the rubber bottom is a nice touch. The plastic cap seems difficult to clean. It is insulated and says it will keep beverages hot up to 7 hours which is nice. The color is a really nice dark forest green. Most of the starbucks tumblers for hot drinks are really small so… Read more

I chose this for the larger 20 oz capacity. It will be great to have one for thr venti size drinks as the cheaper plastic ones they sell are only 16 oz. I'm happy with this purchase and hope it holds up over time. The construction seems solid so I think it will.
