Damn what fake reviews they have bought online, they are terrible in service, rude and arrogant behavior. Please people don't fall in trap. Worst experience ever from Laverton Stockdale & Leggo. I wish they relaise what they are doing soon. Please report them to Justice.

The very best real estate agents in the Laverton area – Selling in the current market is very challenging due to the progressive interest rate hikes. Sunny Kumar and Daniel Kennedy have been absolutely perfect with every part of the sale. The result has been an extremely smooth and worry free experience, with an excellent result. You are not likely to find a better team!

Compassionate and Caring – Highly recommend the services of the rental team. Nice having a rental department that works for both tenant and landlord. The team had my needs in mind when discussing my application with the rental provider, between agent, provider and myself it was a smooth transition in a time of need. Refreshing change.

Run away as far as you can – Very bad experience, they tell you one thing on inspection and completely different things later. Would never recommend to anyone. hanging from the ceiling due to plumbing works with needed electrical work not followed up for one month and they couldn’t care less. I’m sure if I hadn’t of moved all the above would have continued to remain as is and the down light would still be swinging like a chandelier five years from now. Then when you do decide to move on they complain about things that were present when you moved in 7 years ago and take the repair cost from your bond because it’s not documented by the many inadequate property managers before them. I have leased properties for 36 years and Stockdale and Leggo Belmont are the absolute worst. So disrespectful, unprofessional and just downright lazy. Stay as far away from them as possible.

so angry that I would insist on receiving warranties that they quit days before rent was due. I received the hot water system warranty a week after they quit but they don't seem to have included the termite treatment warranties for the past 3 years although I paid for termite treatment regularly, notably in August 2018 and then in January 2019 they wanted me to pay for the ANNUAL treatment AGAIN.

The head office offered to set up a replacement property manager with a different franchise but failed to do so in the 8 days since we contacted head office.

Update In the several years since I wrote this review (which was only JUST published today), S&L provided us with an excellent replacement. I think it was Stockdale & Leggo Ring Road or somewhere equally far from my house. I sold the house in 2020 so I’m a bit vague although I remember the lovely property manager’s name. I remember thinking that she had a long way to travel when visiting my house in Lyndhurst but I believe she managed a few other properties down that way.

Our new property manager told us Stockdale and Leggo CRANBOURNE changed its name and was no longer a Stockdale and Leggo franchise. I had the distinct impression that my complaint, including a lot of detail not included in this review, raised S&L’s awareness of misconduct.

Also, when I sold my house they provided excellent sales service and a hefty discount on the real estate commission.

My advice: keep records, monitor your property manager and, if you have concerns, raise them. After the first lot made me pay to have the oven repaired about 3 times without invoices I think it was better that they spit the dummy and quit. In the long run I saved money. And, as I said, the new manager was LOVELY.

later that the home was flipped/renovated. This was after we were told to trust the vendor, he’s an experienced plumber despite being left with leaks and significant holes in the storm water system costing us thousands of dollars post settlement. We were told there was warranty on new kitchen and appliances however not provided with any of these certificates. He was difficult to communicate with and declining us access to the property to complete building checks so had to go through our conveyancers. He was very pushy with the COS and even showed us a text of an offer from someone else and numerous phone calls of other offers for the property. To top it off, he didn’t even hand us the keys to the property on settlement, instead sent me a photo with them left in the electrical box! Overall, dishonest and very unprofessional so please be careful as it was a very stressful experience which took the excitement out of buying a new home.

DO NOT USE THIS AGENT! – Warning!!! Do not use Stockdale and Leggo Gladstone Park! Dishonest, uncommunicative, refusing to return money owed. Had to take them to court.

Stockdale & Leggo Glen Huntly Trolls – When renting from Stockdale & Leggo Glen Huntly I was harassed and trolled by the son of Agent. Son put a nail in my tyre. Stalked me to new address and continued harassment there

Clowns who make money doing nothing – Rude. Dismissive. Lazy. Unfamilar with basic residential tenancy act laws, landlord focused and will enjoy facilitating them making illegal actions as they make them money. Never had a problem before until these jokers at shepparton

Renter beware owner take care – Having rented from Bacchus Marsh office for 4.5 years, and ending the lease on my own terms, they are still trying to do me down. they seem to not be giving me a reference, of perhaps even a bad reference. Even though I got my full bond back, and a check mark on the rental data base there are still some issues. Since I now live in the mid north coast of NSW (the market s super hot up here right now) it is making it challenging for me to get another rental without a reference. So if you are looking for a place to rent stay well away from Stockdale and Leggo, if you want your property rented, again good tenant chased away by dirt poor service, bad attitudes and unprofessional actions. I can only extrapolate how poorly they would try to sell you home. There are plenty of other RE agents in the Marsh use one of them, I would think you wont be happy with Stockdale and Leggo.

Extremely bad agent – These guy’s managed my property and completely messed it up, never did inspection properly.. tenant broke the house and left these guys couldn’t even properly do the VCAT.. got delayed due to the agent fault. Very bad on responses and failed to find a tenant.. it ended up me advertising on gumtree and finding a tenant.

Worst experience ever – Langwarrin branch is the worst realestate office you will find in Melbourne. Landloard was an excellent guy, but the real estate agent has no proffessiolism what so ever. They will get their cut, thats all.

Very bad experience with stockdale & leggo real estate - Western Suburbs – Hi, Stockdale & leggo real estate - Altona,Laverton is not at all professional and they are not co-operative at all. There agent Sapan Goel never responds and never picks the call. Really unprofessional, lack of customer satifaction. Never had any such experience with any of the real estate agent. Please never buy/rent property through them.

Professional, Reliable and Efficient! – Alex De Menna is a star estate agent from Stockdale & Leggo Bundoora. I consulted her to lease my house and on the same day the house was advertised, she organised an inspection for prospective tennants. Within 24hrs my property was rented and contracts signed! I’ve had good estate agents in the past but Alex’s commitment, professionalism and people skills is a hard act to follow.

Do not solve the problems of tenants. Noisy neighbors – They do not solve the problems of tenants. Gave noisy neighbors who have parties every night. I have to constantly call the council and the police. 11 Deauville Lane, Deer Park.

Cheap and poor communication – I purchased my first home through this realestate and while friends and family received beautiful congratulation gift packages through different realestate agents for their purchase I received a $5 bowl from a discount store. Terrible effort considering the commission they got from my purchase. Also hard to contact and communication not clear.

is a common problem around sink. Nothing fault from us. The sealer on the benchtop were worn out & stone discolored near to sink only due to use of soap for plate/pot washings. We got our bond back, however my christmas & new year break was ruined due to this unnecessary headeque.

well before our end of lease and all pending payments were settled then and there. SG kept dodging our calls/SMS and rarley responded to emails. It took him 3 weeks to initiate the bond return process. He finally took action only because we escalated to his manager. 3 Weeks of running around, and no action. But when the manager gets involved, 30 minutes and Mr SG got his act together.

The agency is one of the worst agencies I've dealt with in Australia. Highly recommend to not take a lease through this agency. Extremely aggressive and rude staff.

asked a question (e.g. why a property valuer needed to take photos of our personal belongings), or complained about them giving our personal contact details to people without our knowledge or consent, or if I wasn't available at a time they demanded a smoke detector checker visit. They believe, and stated several times, that a lease removed all our rights to privacy and over-ruled tenancy laws. They also lied a few times, saying we hadn't paid our rent on time when they had received it the day before it was due as an instant Osko payment. They sometimes receipted rent 3 days after it was actually received. Clearly a scam not to pass the rent to the owners. We had a serious maintenance issue (with the 2 year old house) that was detrimental to the house structure and I was told to deal with it myself if it worried me that much. I had to demand twice in writing that the owners be advised of this issue. I sent dozens of photos and videos, none of which were passed to the owners. The agents minimised the issue and convinced the owners not to fix it. We were forced to move out as the back half of the house was in constant danger of flooding with water lapping at the back door, several inches deep, for 6 months of the year and the backyard was not unusable, requiring gum boots all through summer.

owner wasn’t going to fix anything and told us we should look at another place then she sent us a vacate letter when my wife was 6 months pregnant, we paid for everything to be fixed when we moved out, I put in new carpets painted the walls and they didn’t take a cent out or my bond, then we applied to other rentals we kept getting knocked back and one of the rental ladies from Bombay was honest enough to say Michelle wrote a list of things we didn’t fix and even lied and said she took our bond money, when I called to blast her or the directors no one was around to take my call and now I have to look for a container to put my furniture in and look for a hotel. Terrible customer service by the sales agent – I called regarding a property I was interested in; the sales agent didn't seem to care at all about my queries.
