tender and the meat did seem a bit old and stale. It certainly was not the premium steak experience that we had paid for. I've had better at various pubs. Then we had the angus sausages and and they were stale in flavour. We were not brave enough to try any of the rest of the products after that. I rang the contact at Stockman Steaks straight away and told her I wanted a refund. Nothing happened for several days. I emailed requesting a refund. Nothing happened. I emailed again then got a response saying that they did not believe there was anything wrong with the meat. In other words, I was a liar. They said they would not be giving a refund. We kept what was left of the meat, expecting Stockmans would want it returned for evaluation but no, they did not request its return. If they had been serious about determining if there really was anything wrong, they would have asked that it be returned. At least now we've still got it for the Food Safety Authority people.

I just received my medium carnivor pack and was blown away by the range and amount of items. Cannot wait to cook this fantastic selection. The diced beef and Angus Pepper sausage are defrosting as I type. Will DEFINITELY be continuing to get my meat from Stockmans. Very responsive customer service as well. So happy! Show 2 replies

your plate … Amazing quality, Bovaer free , and Rumin 8 free, and vaccine free as well, just how nature intended. No MRNA either ! I like to put quality Meats and Chicken into my diet that is free of the above i mentioned, our Nans and Pops never had this added to there steaks on a plate from the Farm in there day, and the meat was always perfect, Stockmans is the same, quality, just how it should be ,and not tamperd with in there feed. I say let them roam around the grassy paddocks, do there thing, and we dont need to be adding other products to there feed which maybe harmful to the cattle, then we consume this. We are extremely impressed with the quality of there meats and chicken, and i wont go anywhere else to buy my meat. Thanks for caring, as this type of thing goes along way in the community for customers to eat good quality products, that no are safe but taste amazing to. The meat is snap frozen in an insulated, very good quality box with cold bricks, very impressed to say the least. All tied up well to get delivered from the cold truck to your door. Take this opportunity to give this business a go as you wont be disappointed at all. 1 year in buying this beautiful quality meat and Chicken. Yum yum yum !! being provided with a 2 hour time frame. The meat arrived in perfect condition, well packed and insulated. I just had my first steak and it was delicious! Being extremely fussy with what I eat, it's also a great comfort knowing that the meat is non-GMO and the animals pasture raised and free from Bovaer and mRNA vaccines. I can understand why there are so many positive reviews!! I’m also very happy to support Aussie farmers and a 100% Australian company rather than large global companies (aka supermarkets), and I appreciate being able to conveniently buy my meat from a reputable company. I ordered from Stockman, and my first delivery was not the best, the box sitting in the sun, but the meat was mostly still frozen when I got home, only one chicken pack needed immediate cooking, so I slow-boiled it in miso soup. D>mn it was incredible. The rest was jellied in the miso, and I re-heated separate scoops from the large saucepan over the next two nights, enjoying every bite. I was impressed. I asked Stockman if they could deliver on weekends and they organised that for me, (thank you Stockman team!) so the notification that the box had arrived and me filling my freezer was a very small window. I never had issues there - the new insulation for the boxes is overkill in my opinion - but after seeing some of the complaints here - I can see why they did it. Kudos to Stockman for going above and beyond there, even if *I* don't need it. As for meat quality, I followed the defrosting instructions and use an ice-cream bucket to hold the meat in the fridge, to mitigate the leakage from the packaging as it slowly defrosts. Expansion, contraction, blah. The chicken leaks the most, the beef only a small amount, and the pork-belly almost none. I rinse the meat in filtered water lightly before I seasoning it, or adding it to a stew directly, giving it half an hour to absorb the sauce before cooking. When the timer goes off, I turn off the cooker and let the meat reabsorb some juices. The meat is always juicy and tasty - if I'm in a rush, I just eat and the meat can be tougher - but this is my fault for not following the Masterclass teaching. If you've gotten this far, thank you. I give them 5 stars (/5) and the meat I bring to other people's BBQ's - almost always - outclasses theirs. I'm a meat snob now, I know. I will add - when I've finished the order, and haven't planned properly, I resort to cooking veggie-only meals and count the days until that glorious box arrives again. I've been buying from Stockman Steaks for close to 2 years as I sought quality grass fed meat and pasture raised chicken that had zero additives, antibiotics etc. I have been very impressed with the quality. First time i have ordered from this place but won't be ordering from here again! Stayed home for the day to receive my $400 order (!!!) which didn't seem to be coming. Rang the company and they informed me that my order hadn't been put on the truck and id now have to wait until Friday to get it delivered! They didn't even CONTACT ME to tell me this. reach out to them. Then they said it would be delivered the following week… 2 weeks passed and I still never received the beef bacon I was promised and PAYED for. I then complained and got a refund for it and a $30 voucher which is nothing and wouldn’t even cover one item for the trouble

Absolutely horrendous to the point I couldn't of been more disappointed. From delivery to meat itself, it's an absolute joke. defrost, and the first thing I witnessed in the morning was pool of blood in the fridge. Every single batch I got delivered had multiple holes on its packaging, I had to deal with haemoglobin all the time, and now it's drained my meat looks awful in brownish grey colour. Literally every single one. Even when Im using cold water method it's even worse cos it gets tap water straight up on my meat washing all the bloods again away. Meat tastes mid. Not worth more buck

Get it delivered from others if ya one cos it not individually packed in the firrst place.

I have used Stockman’s for about 18months. I have a good local butcher but he can’t confirm if his meat is vaccine free or Bovine Free. So, I order thru Stockman’s and doubt you will find anything better. Delivery is easy and food quality is great. Eye Fillets are my favourite but recommend Chicken etc too. My health, energy has improved so much since buying from Stockman Steaks over a year ago. Grass fed is so much more nutritious and their meat is clean and tasty. I do not tolerate additives.
