I’d been buying the Chunky Beef & Veg Soup for emergencies when I didn’t have time to do work lunch prep. Recently it’s been very hit & miss as to what’s the packet. I used to add chickpeas to it make it more filling but recently I’ve found it to contain what looks like pearl barley occasionally so it’s stodgy, no longer soup consistency. Today… Read more
it’s back to runny with not much of anything aside from about 30grs of meat. No mention on package of recipe being changed.
Bought the Butter Chicken frozen meal and 2 hours later developed a migraine, another 4 hours later I'm waking up to throw up. Now 13 hours after digesting I still feel terrible. Food poisoning or a virus, either way, won't be buying from this company again. *I would like to note, it's probably fault of Woolworths or the middle men deliverers… Read more
and improper handling of frozen products. I wouldn't be surprised if this meal had defrosted at some point and then been re-frozen causing this issue.
Italian herb chicken meatballs & Spaghetti is absolute rubbish. Sauce was thick and tasteless, meatballs were totally tasteless and rubbery. Belongs in pet food aisle. If you respect your diet, don't buy this garbage.

Purchased two different meals containing chicken both meals had raw chicken even after cooking it for recommended time and then again for extra time Show details
Nice looking product but the quality of the meat is terrible.
Revolting ! Didn't taste like beef. Tasted like wheat. Low and behold looked at ingredients. Mostly carbs! And they advertise it as high protein carb clever !
I only recently found them and have been loving them so much, I love the chicken and potato salad a lot, even with a side of chips
Tried the Italian Pork Pasta and Satay Chicken. Both had a burning chili taste, not a flavourful spice, just burning. I don't mind spice but both these means had no distinct flavour of what they were meant to be. Couldn't recognise as Italian flavourings or satay. Also even with sauce in meal was overly dry. Wouldn't buy again. Show details

Surprisingly good – I started to purchase these ready to eat meals about 3 weeks ago. Bought them at Woolies. That's what I have been eating 2 meals a day I got : Chicken stroganoff Lasagna Lemon herbs chicken Cajun chicken To my pleasant surprise, I like every dish ! It offers low calories and high proteins in some dishes. No meals is very high in calories.
BEST MEAL IN THE MARKET!! – I bought the Strength Meals Co BBQ Chicken meal after having HORRIBLE experiences with other brands at the supermarket. I work long hours and need a great-tasting and filling meal to help me get through my shifts and these meals are perfect! Thanks Strength Meals
Amazing !! – As a busy mum of 2 trying to balance life, kids & work I couldn't be happier to have Strength Meals co in my fridge. Fresh, quick & affordable!!! Chicken Stroganoff the best !!

I have purchased several frozen pies in my life so I need to let you know that your chicken curry pie would be the worst I have ever tried to eat.without exaggeration the pastry was without taste and as bland and nothing like a pie pastry. I have given 1 star for the chicken curry filling. It was edible without being wanting more. I am only giving… Read more
my opinion of your frozen pies , I haven't purchased any of your other meals. As for the price I think it was way too much for this item but even if it was half price I wouldn't purchase it again.

I tried the Beef casserole with mash - it was disgusting. The 'beef' was just gristle and fat and was tough. I am really disappointed that such poor quality food can be fobbed off as a "Strength Meal" Show details
I had the Chicken & Potato Salad, which I could barely get through. It has a strange fizziness to the mayo which smacked of preservatives. The list of ingredients was alarming, although in fact given the list of ingredients it should have potentially been a lot tastier than it was. It did not feel in anyway nutritious. The fizzy/vinegary… Read more
aftertaste was overwhelming and I ended up throwing 90% of it away. It was an expensive experience that I shall not repeat and I am not motivated to try any other variants of this brand.

The pies are absolutely foul and full of gristle. I literally didnt get a single bit without bits in it. It's a real shame because I really liked the pastry but the filling was simple disgusting.
Earlier in the evening I heated exactly as instructed, 1 lemon pepper chicken dish. It looked nice and was described as 'succulent chicken with root vegetables The chicken was so dry it was impossible to swallow. Even the cat rejected it. The root veges, mainly kumara were tough and uncooked. The exception was the solitary cube of pumpkin. The… Read more
sauce was radically overseasoned and very salty so this too was inedible.. This left me with a plastic tray and cardboard sleeve. I chucked the lot out. In retrospect I should have given the tray a chance because now I'm hungry. $12 plus dollars to buy frozen from woolworths-save your money this company clearly doesn't give an enormous RA about quality control and decent, edible meals.
I had the lemon chicken with potatoes. Chicken had a weird taste, there was two slivers of carrot. It was inedible slop, I threw it in the bin. I won't be buying it again
3rd time buying hearty beef soup only to find there no actual beef! Only chunks of gristle and fat, try putting some decent ingredients you advertise in the actual soup, I can understand once but 3 times now & for the price you charge we should be getting better quality. Show details
Chicken Casserole with mash – The Chicken Casserole with Mash is misleading advertising, as in small print it turns out the casserole is something they call 'casserole sauce'. This is basically a small amount of chicken in gravy, with mash. Very disappointing
Braised Beef Ragu – Am sure the meals are nutritious but they look awful in the container especially the braised beef ragu and mash. While the disclaimer on the cover is the image is a “serving suggestion” the reality is the food looks nothing like the cover. The braised beef ragu bears no resemblance to the image. The mash is mixed into the ragu and it looks awful. Show details
Overpriced Corn and Rice Meal – I tried Strength Meals BBQ Chicken and Rice Meal.. It Was Full of Corn( No Other Vegetable was Seen) and I Received 2 X 1CM X 1.5CM Pieces of Chicken.( Though the Rice Was Nice).. This Is Absolutely Overpriced and Advertised Wrongly..( It Should be Advertised as Rice and Corn).. One Very Disappointed Customer Here, Who Definitely WON'T Be Returning.

Raw Chicken – Chicken stronganauf… the chicken was RAW! Spoke with the staff at Woolworths to remove all items as this is incredibly dangerous. Have emailed strength meals regarding this. I hope they notice this and act quickly to remove all items from stores.
This isn’t spinach fettuccine and tomato paste isn’t ragu – Actual fettucine doesn’t resemble photo on label, not green, just bog standard fettuccine not spinach fettuccine. Read the label and it’s not even spinach, just ‘spinach powder’ sounds so healthy right?! Sauce is like eating tomato paste definitely not like any ‘authentic braised beef ragu’ I’ve had before.
Bit tight on the meat – I saw these at Woolies and thought I try them for a easy meal or a lunch. I had a chicken casserole and smelt good and looked and i only saw one tiny piece of chicken in the casserole and it was all sauce. Wasn't a great start. Got a couple more to try.
The best soup ever now the worst – What happened to the hearty beef soup. Was my absolute favourite. Ate it 4+ times a week. Now it's awful!!! Out with this awful new recipe and bring back the old one, get rid of the peas and bring back the tomato please!!!!!
Meals nothing like their titles – I purchase a Strength Meals Co meal some time ago which was nothing like its description having hardly any of the ingredients in the title. (so long ago I can’t remember which meal) I avoided buying any of their meals after that experience until yesterday when I thought I would try their Hearty Beef Soup. How bad could it be? Again I was so… Read more
disappointed as there were only 2 small pieces of beef in the soup. There was more zucchini than beef and a lot of tomato paste. The taste was purely tomato, nothing like a beef soup. I have learnt my lesson and will not be purchasing anything from Strength Meals Co. again.
Terrible pumpkin soup – I seen this at Woolies. I thought the spiced pumpkin and lentil soup sounded nice, it tastes awful.I wanted to try something a bit different to the normal cheaper brand of pumpkin soup I buy. Big mistake, threw half if this in the bin and I don't like to waste food. Writing this review sitting here still hungry.
Not happy – Tried these yesterday. Had the braised beef ragu and mash. It was slop, so runny. Taste was ok but as others have said, 2 pieces of vegetables only. Definitely not mashed potatoe. I've been feeling sick ever since eating it last night. Not happy at all.
Looking for healthy reasonably priced Australian made food meals – Less than 20% Australian I where the heck is it coming from?! You’re $2 cheaper than the one that is 100% Australian made alongside your products in the shops and another $1 in between with a little more Aussie percentage - why not just match the same price and go to being 100% Australian made. Besides how can importing something on a boat be… Read more
