If I could give 0 stars I would! Caused a terrible allergic reaction under both armpits - developed into large painful lump which now requires follow up with doctor. Show details

Don’t use after shaving – Have to edit my review after a few days of use: As others already mentioned, caused bad burns under arms and very painful red rush. BUT! This is happened after shaving. In a few days rush has gone and I’ve decided to give it a second try before throwing away. No more skin reactions. It feels different after chemical antiperspirants, but this… Read more

product doesn’t claim to be one of them so all good. All in all, nice product for what it is! Just don’t use it after shaving :)

Reaction – As previous review, used for a few days and thought this is great, no heavy sweating and no BO smell, but noticed raised bumps rash type on skin in areas that sweat a lot or have high heat areas, don’t recommend due to this reason and seeing others have reported same issue Purchased at Woolworths 6/4/24 Show details

I wish I’d scrolled further when checking reviews… – I saw the Sukin Natural Deodorant was on special @ Woolies, and quickly googled it to check reviews on it, which were an average of 4.2 stars. Awesome, I thought! Unbeknownst to me, these ratings were from the Sukin website, not productreview or choice, and while I usually cross check reviews, I didn’t this time. Bad move! The first day, I was… Read more

really impressed! It was fairly warm for this time of the year, and while I did still sweat, I found the odour control to be decent, although I did have to “freshen up” through the day. It seemed to tackle the residual smell that can sometimes linger when you do that with other deodorants, so that was a plus. Fast forward to last night, around 36 hours after my first application. Holy BURNING! I’ve had reactions to home-made deodorant, but this was pale in comparison, as it seemed to worsen, despite my rinsing and attempts to soothe it. I ended up putting prescription cortisone cream on the rash, which allowed me to sleep. I woke up this morning and the rash is still present, but it’s nowhere near as raw as it was last night. If you have had any sort of deodorant or skin care reaction, I would advise against using this product. If you haven’t, I would recommend you try it WITH CAUTION!

DONT BUY!! The most awful painful rash!! – Unbelievably painful burning rash. I can barley move my arms. Can’t tie my pony tail because it stretches the rash and hurts too much. Burning constantly and open like a grazing. (The photos are shiny because I’ve put aloe gel and coconut oil on to relieve the burning pain and dryness so I can at least sleep tonight!) Show details

Broke out in a red rash under both my arm pits – I wanted to switch to a natural deodorant, and I switched to sukin because its a trusted brand. Immediately after using the deodorant I broke out in a rash like burn under my arms. I didnt realise it was the deodorant until I stopped using it and then restarted using it again. To my surprise I developed burn like rashes AGAIN, and I am in so much… Read more

pain that I started googling and was shocked to find that so many other people have experienced this. Why is this product on the market still?

Terribly itchy and painful rash – I used this deodorant for two days before developing a rash. It’s been three days since it developed/I stopped using it and my rash has become worse (first image was taken on Monday and second image taken yesterday. Even worse today) and has since spread. Reading through the reviews, I don’t know how this product is still available for purchase. I don’t shave as I’ve had laser and I’ve also never had any issues with my skin. Show details

I am so irritated and in so much pain – The first night I used this it burnt immediately, but I honestly thought it was from shaving. This being all natural assumed it was safe. 3 days later I am in so much pain. Bought 2 creams from the chemist today to help. Use with caution. Show details

Finally discovered how to use it – I had irritated and dry underarms from using this deodorant. I had already stocked up big time when it was only $3.97 at Chemist Warehouse, so was wondering what to do with so much of it. Anyway, I recommend you read the directions on the bottle before leaving bad reviews. It says to spray onto your body and underarms as required. It does not say… Read more

to hold bottle 15cm from underarms and spray, like other deodorants do. I found myself a nice roll on underarm deodorant from another brand, which I use the second I get out of the shower. Then before I get dressed, I spray Sukin deodorant all over myself. It leaves my body with a beautiful scent and works all day to keep me fresh smelling under my clothes. Often if I come home then head out again, I give my body another good spritz of it. I suggest get yourself a roll on underarm deodorant from another brand and use Sukin deodorant as a beautifully scented body spray! Also the alcohol and zinc will control body odour not just under your arms but all over! I suggest don't spray this stuff in a straight line directly under your arms. I guarantee you will begin to love it again!

excellent natural alternative! love it!! – I have tried so so many natural deodorants to try and get away from all the nasty chemicals that many contain. None worked for me without hurting my dry sensitive skin But this product absolutely does work, and works well! It also feels nice and moisturising on application too! Show details

Keeps me smelling fresh – I have been more focused on using natural products so instead of using the chemical laden anti perspirants I was after a natural deodorant and came across the one from Sukin. They're a trustworthy brand and I have purchased numerous items from their line and have never been disappointed. Their deodorant is great as you can just spray it on and… Read more

it contains only natural ingredients so you don't have to worry about what your body is absorbing. It does not help with sweating but it does keep my underarms smelling fresh and odour free all day. The scent isn't too strong and I spray it once in the morning and I'm good to go for the rest of the day.

Disappointed – Works perfectly- I haven’t sweated or had body odour, even on a 37* day. HOWEVER I after a week’s use I have developed a carpet burn-like rash on my arm pits. Upon reading the reviews this is a common issue! Show details

Really bad pimples and rash on underarm – When I first saw this product I automatically reached for it as I love the Sukin brand and use their facial cleanser and body wash religiously. After a day or two of using the natural deodorant, I broke out on both underarms with a hard flakey brown/dark brown sting like rash. Not really overthinking it I continued to use the deodorant, my rash… Read more

continued to get worse so I stopped using it. After my rash disappeared I wanted to try again just to see if it was the deodorant. Sad to say I now have so many pimples under each arm. I’m so disappointed because I really wanted to love this product. Won’t be buying it again unfortunately

Horrible - wish I read reviews first – I love the Sukin brand but my gosh what is this product. Only been using for a little under a week now and I have a rash under both arm pits and pimples under one. It burned the first time I used it but I thought nothing of it and maybe it was becuase I had just shaved. Something not ok about this 'natural' deoderant. Show details

Burnt my Armpits – I bought this deodorant 3 days ago from the Chemist was looking for something more natural. Unfortunately it burnt my armpits and they really hurt. I should have read the reviews before getting it as I noticed a lot of people faced the same problem. Show details

Terrible do not buy – Tried the Ocean mist sukin deodorant for a more natural alternative but was in for a shocking surprise. I developed a painful rash under my armpit after 2 weeks of using the product. I researched to see if others had this problem and was amazed to see that over 50 people had similar reviews and yet this product was still on the shelves!!! Overall you get the gist it’s a bad mist… Show details

Works well BUT skin rash appeared (Fresh Cotton fragrance) – Sukin natural deodorant works very well to control perspiration / odour and yes I would recommend it. After stocking up on this product due to Chemist Warehouse having 1/2 price sale on Sukin, I purchase Sukin natural deodorant in fresh cotton fragrance (as I was originally using ocean mist fragrance with no issues) I noticed a burning sensation… Read more

and a rash /irritation patch appear on both under arm areas ( see picture) within 24hrs of use. I am unsure if it’s the fragrance used in this deodorant or a bad batch as I have been using this deodorant for several months prior to the change. However as per the rest of the reviews I’ve read it could be a bad batch!!

Nice smell, works well but burns my skin – Burns on my skin from this product after a couple of times of use, seems to work well but not good for my skin, which is not normally sensitive. Unfortunately not great! Show details

It painfully works! – When i used it for the first time I was hit with a beautiful smell. Then came with this odd tingling. I thought nothing of it. I continued to used and notice my poor underarms were burning. I had quickly wash it off. I now had these horrible burns and bumps under my underarms. It's such a shame that it works really well with the odour. Show details

Redness and pain – I purchased Sukin Natural Deodorant | Ocean Mist spray, and my skin isn't known to be sensitive, but this caused redness and significant pain when applied on my right side, but only tingling on my left. I've tried it twice over a rest period of 2 months, again exactly the same results. What a pity, because it does seem to work in controlling odour otherwise. Show details

Bad Reaction – I use Sukin Shampoo & Body wash and love it so much. I tried the deodorant as I thought the spray was a great idea and it has a beautiful smell and kept me smelling fresh all day. That is until I started to develop red painful bumps under my arms, turned rough and scaly. I don't usually get any reactions but this deodorant gave me a big one. So dissatisfied and frustrated by this product and by Sukin. Show details

Really bad reaction – Wanted to switch to a natural product so bought this one. Really bad reaction after using this for a week, similar to other reviews, rash under the arm and a bacterial infection. Had to see a doctor and am now using an antibiotic cream. Show details

Horrrible!!!! Really bad reaction – After a week of using the deodorant I have had a terribly reaction under my arms. I am red, scaly, hot and peeling! I have not shaved and I have not introduced any other products to my armpits. I’m horrified I am in so much discomfort. Reconsider this option for deodorants. This product needs to be recalled. Removed. It’s a shame it smells so nice as the actual product Is horrible!!!! Show details

Causes irritation – Like majority of the other reviews. Day 3 red dots which almost felt scratchy, like every pore under my arm had been blocked and crystallised. I have had laser hair removal so there was no shaving. The smell was pleasant and masked odour but didn’t outweigh the reaction. Stopped using it immediately. I would love to know what ingredient might be causing this skin irritation! Show details

It doesn't work at all – So when you first spray it on after a shower, it smells alright. But in no time at all you get less of the perfume smell, and more of body odour. Eventually there is nothing but body odour. I thought I could at least use this after my evening shower, but apparently lying in bed is more than this product can cope with. Show details

Caused painful itchy red rash – I love other Sukin products. I can't use this deodorant if I shaved my armpits ever, not even after 24 hours. I got painful red angry bumps all over my armpits for days and have now developed a severe itchy, fungus like sore on one of my armpits. Super disappointed. The only good thing is it does stop odour but that's it. Show details
