Sunbeam 90cm Tower FA7200

Very cool – I won this sunbeam tower fan in a raffle. At first I was very unsure about using it and how much difference it would actually make to the room compared with a pedestal fan but the fan is great has three speeds, rotation, timer to turn off and even a night mode so the lights aren’t on. My favourite thing about it is the remote.. when it comes to getting out of bed to turn the fan on or off I don’t have to I can just use the remote  Show details ·  1

Just wait until the rattle starts! – Awful product. I purchased two. One started a rattle almost at once had to progressively tilt it to stop the rattle until I could tilt no further as it would have fallen over. The second started within a few months. replaced so time will tell. I have a Chinese column fan I bought at the supermarket for half the price which has been fine. We all want to do the right thing and buy Australian but —-.

A shame it did not perform – Well... I expected more from this unit but it did not provide it. If you go on looks and style , this unit has it all including the remote control. It also uses a scroll fan , the same as in split system air conditioners which makes it very quiet. But the oscillation system which makes the tower rotate back and forth failed very quickly. Other than that, it worked ok

Had to throw it out.. It was too noisy due to this and quite frankly overpriced.

Too loud – A little disapointed. Just unwrapped and turned on it seems so much louder than my last tower fan (which was so quiet I used to forget it was on) this one is bugging me already and has only been on 1/2 hour. did notice one online store said they were not for sale so maybe this was just the last of the model and they have made newer model with quieter running.

Do NOT purchase! – This fan starts rattling like crazy after a few days. We bought 2, and it has happened to them both. Stay clear of these at all cost - even the more expensive Sunbeam have very similar reviews and issues. NOISY! – If you plan to use this fan to keep you cool while you sleep, forget it. I have just purchased it and will take it back tomorrow as it should not be this noisy in terms of the motor sound. Sounds like there is a leaf caught inside the body. Tall slimiline look. Noisy.
