Sunshine Coast Plumbing and Hot Water

We would like to thank all the great lads who worked on a new replacement gutters and hot water this week at a home in Montville from Sunshine Coast Plumbing and Hot Water. They did a great job, and were a pleasure to work with. Among the team were Alex Tollis, Brad Foley, Wiremu Pehi, Billy, & Nev. Alex and Billy went over and above today to… Read more

come back and finish an extra downpipe. We would highly recommend the team if you need gutters or roof plumbing. Highly professional. Adrian & Lise Noon

Aidan and Alex were competent, pleasant and skilled with replacing Shower taps because of excessive leaking and a garden tap that was also leaking.

Jett came out when we were having a problem with our water filter and he showed me options on what we can get and prices then Nev came in after and installed new filter was very neat and efficent. Thanks guys

Paid just short of $1200, which I was required to pay up front before work would commence, to fix a blocked drain. The plumber would not inspect the drain that was evidently blocked and insisted that he needed to inspect elsewhere. He cut a hole in an unrelated pipe, inspected the unrelated pipe and advised there was no blockage. To me this felt like a complete scam. I would never use their service again.

Avoid this company. Instantaneous hot water system had an odd smell so called them to get a plumber out. Was told I would get a text to confirm and they couldn’t come until I did but I never got it. 2 Plumbers turned up and told me it’s a $250 call… Read more

out fee but if I get them to do the work it will be taken off the price. They checked and confirmed they shouldn’t have been on site without my confirmation, also told me payment was due on the day. They checked the unit and told me it had to be replaced as it was leaking a poisonous gas and couldn’t be switched back on. They made up a quote on an iPad and I signed and agreed as I had no idea about the actual price of anything, I also assumed by the size of the quote they would be on site for a long time. From when they arrived, checked the unit then replaced it and left was just over 2 hours, I checked this on my cameras. The total seemed very steep so I started checking prices which I should have done first. The hot water unit itself is $1100 but they charged $1700. The valves and bits of pipe are worth about $150 but they charged a total of $1938. As you can see instead of removing the $250 call out fee they decided to add another $395 “attendance” fee. They then threw on an admin fee of $190. $990 in Labor for just over 2 hours work. It took 3 emails back and forth to try and get this “itemized” invoice as they just send you a generic one. I did sign the quote as I assumed this was a trustworthy company. I should have called and got a few more quotes, please don’t make the mistake I did and use this company.

Terrible. Paid for CCVT and never got it? 1200 dollars! It feels they have gone to AI as no email responses from humans . A complete rip off.

Nev and Jett came out as we wanted 3 new showers around the house, they showed us options of which ones would work and prices before doing the work and we were more than impressed with there professionalism and quality of work they supplied. Will be recommending.

We had a leak underground that was detected. Nev and Jett came out and had it sorted very quick and neat. They backfilled and re-layed our pavers even straighter than they were before. Couldn’t be happier with the professionalism and efficiency from Nev and the team.

We had a issue with our hot water, within 2 hours we had this company out and they were very professional and gave me plenty of options on what new system to chose from and Nev came out and fixed it and it looks amazing we’re very happy with him and the company. cheers guys

Sunshine Coast plumbing came out very promptly when I told them I had no hot water, when arriving on site, they explained what was wrong and within an hour I had Nev the technician come out and fix the problem. Very happy with there service and would recommend.

Jett did an excellent job fixing a leaking poly joiner. The repair was done quickly and professionally, with a solid seal and no more leaks. Great attention to detail and tidy workmanship — everything’s holding strong. Highly recommend Jett for any poly pipe repairs

Had Jett and Nev attend my home for guttering and they did a fantastic job. Thanks

Jett and Mason were very helpful and left a tidy workplace

My toilet backed up so bad it looked like Willy Wonka had opened a new factory in my bathroom. Called these legends and they didn’t even flinch — straight in, tools out, and boom, chocolate river gone. They left the place cleaner than when they arrived and even managed to save my dignity. If you ever want your pipes handled like a pro and your nightmares flushed away, Josh and Mason are your guys. Show reply

Called these guys because my pipes were making noises that sounded like a haunted didgeridoo. Turns out it wasn’t a ghost — just a blockage. They fixed it so fast I didn’t even have time to make a cup of tea. Toilet now flushes like a dream, shower pressure could blast barnacles off a boat, and I no longer fear being swallowed by mysterious gurgling sounds at 2am. Would 100% recommend Mason and Josh from Sunshine Coast Plumbing and Hot Water. Show reply
