Very good experience.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The 6.6 unit was installed by knowledgeable and friendly installers. Very professional sales staff. Clean and tidy job and timely arrival on the stated day.
No more big power bills!
I wanted a quality solar system so I went with Sunterra. I found the process from quote to installation of the solar panels so easy & fast. Everyone I dealt with were professional & pleasant. Thanks in particular to Landon, Louis & Michael.
Professionalism and quality installation of my 6.6kw solar system.
Following the process of getting a solar system installed could not have been more professional or any easier. From the start Sunterra was transparent, supportive and non pushy. This made it a no brainer to why to use them, I was informed all the way through the process prior, during and after the installation. On the day of the installation the installers arrived in a fully branded vehicle(not an unbranded white Ute as per other installers I noted in my area) with the installers weary the required PPE to do the tasks. Read more by seeing people on my roof wearing safety harnesses as required by worksafe Australia. The installation, testy and commissioning went as good as it could go and left me impressed even more with a full explanation of how to get the most from my system. Installation of a 6.66kW Solar System
I requested a firm quote for a 6.66kW Solar System from Sunterra Solar.
Initial timely response from the company personnel from Sales, Scheduler, Site Engineer.
Installation Technicians and Electricians where very informative and high level workmanship applied.
Follow up support was prompt and professional.
Would certainly recommend this company to any considering installing solar.

I have recently had two batteries installed, which were ac coupled to my existing solar system. Extremely pleased.I have been monitoring the system via the Growatt app, to show since the installation ,I have used 0% power from the grid. Very happy .
Installer wrongly disconnected 2 electrical circuits and they are now billing me for their mistake
The installer attended my home and disconnected 2 electrical circuits for no reason, meaning items I used in my home stopped working.
When the inspector attended the property he also advised they had not installed the battery properly as the app on my phone was not working. He had to return several times until they finally completed the work they should have done at the first visit.
It took months to get them to come back out and fix up all their work… and now they are billing me a call-out charge to re-connect the 2 circuits they disconnected.
Terrible service and I feel completely ripped off.

Good customer service and prompt instillation
$100 deposit was required prior to commencing work. All happened within 3 weeks. Turned up and hour late but had wrong address. Some items were left in back yard after completion but were collected next day. Very happy with service and quality. Would definitely recommend company.

Sunterra brought me out of the dark
I had done a few months of research into solar installations. It felt it was all too hard, comparing prices, reviews and brands.
I'm happy I called Sunterra (Nathan), they weren't pushy. I sent a few recent bills, which they used to calculate my kW need. They arranged installation guys to come and inspect the property, and later that day, they sent me a very competitive quote. Read more email and quote, I stopped worrying about which size system and company was best for me. The installers (Michael, Anri and Hayden) were similarly reassuring. I was feeling nervous, as I get nervous with any major works on my house. My fears dissolved once the installers walked me through the process. I felt relaxed as they worked on the roof. On the day of the install, they arrived promptly. They inspected the roof and let me know about a tile that had broken since my roof restoration. Because of this, I was able to fix it before the panels went on. I was impressed with their calm and reassuring professional attitude. After the install, I was concerned about accessing feed in tariffs from my energy provider. Once again, the team at sunterra (Natasha) had given my provider everything required. The external energy provider commented on how quickly all of the approvals came through!Very happy with the team from sales to installation
The installation was great from managenent to installer. And excellent workmanship.I will recommend this company to friends and family. Came on the day installation was scheduled and was punctual and with great professionalism

Love using free clean energy!
I recommend this solar company. Competitive prices and friendly efficient service. The installers did a very neat job and before they left I was already generating enough energy to cover my household energy needs as well as charging my battery - and that was 4pm in April! I cannot wait for my first electricity bill!

One star because can’t give 0
Purchased solar panels in mid Dec and was told by sales person ([name removed]) that they will be installing panels in last week of January. When I didn’t hear from them and called was told that there is a delay in panels from China and now they will install them in mid March. My question is if there was delay then why they didn’t communicate to me. And when I asked for a compensation for delay as I would have saved a bit as it’s summer then they refused.
I wanted to talk to manager but they won’t hive me is contact number so called isolation...

Beware and consider your options
System installed January 16th 2019. My current third inverter is not working have waited for technician to attend my property for a while to confirm it is a faulty inverter again. No resolution and no manager to speak to. I was offered for a different inverter to be installed if I pay the difference and cannot give me a date of when it can be changed. Take caution using Sunterra

Great Saving
Have to admit that we had issues. Panels could not all be installed where originally designed and we had to have them at front of house which we tried to avoid. They changed number of panels without consultation because an improved panel was available and there was a delay in supplying battery. My concerns took a little while to be addressed but in the end they were and outcome was satisfactory.
Installation staff were great and system has worked fantastically. Our usual quarterly bill has gone from $700 to about $40. Incredible.

Sunterra at Canning Vale has been wonderful!
Prompt initial response, (the only ones who got back to me) friendly, professional and timely installation. Two months later I had a question for Sunterra about a message on the panel. I spoke to Rafeek at Canning Vale and he was super kind, informative and helpful. It's nice to know someone has your back!
Terrible experience. 4 months to install, and on day of install said I can't have system I paid for
I signed up for a 7.92kw system with 2 6.5kwh batteries. The sales rep was friendly and the deal was done over phone due to covid. I signed up in may. The rep promised that system will be in 2 weeks after Sa power networks approved my system. Sa power networks approved in 5 days. That was last I heard from sunterra. I called them in June, they said I will be getting a call from engineers within the week. I called in July, told same thing. Then I called once a week to get update. Eventually someone came to check my roof. He explained don't need ...

Unpacked everything, goes up on roof, comes back down a d says, sorry we can't fit 5 panels, you can only have 19 panels so 6.46kw system. I asked him to wait while I called office. Office said they will rebate me $150. I cancelled. I then got Hello solar in, ended up with 8.8kw system for $200 less than sunterra with a 8kw inverter a.d 1 LG 13kwh battery. I also then found out that sunterra were supplying a 5kw inverter which was incorrect for my 7.92 system. Sunterra engineer was rude, non helpful, didn't care about my job, and never returned my calls.
