$200. As we were paying cash this reassured and intimidated her into handing over the extra $200 before work could commence. After hearing about this I called Superior Cleaning and Pest to find out how something that had been quoted at $570 was now going to cost us $770 and to inform them that we simply could not afford the extra $200, as well as my opinion that their quoting process was not accurate enough After discussing how they had intimidated my partner I was told the best they could do was to only charge and extra $100 ,again money we do not have, and I informed them once more that they should go ahead and do only as originally quoted at the $570 price plus that I would be leaving this review. I was then threatened that I would be taken to court for doing so. This is where the conversation ended until I received a phone call from my partner saying that they had called her after speaking to me and offered to do the extra work for an extra $150 , not the extra $100, that I had been offered. As this in my view was an incredibly unethical business practice to offer someone they saw as a softer target a more expensive price than the one offered to me I called back to confirm what I had been told and tell that that this kind of practice is unacceptable. I was told they could do either the $100 extra, $150 extra or return the $200 and to respond with what we wanted to do in and email all whilst still threatening me with court for writing an honest review. After responding via email the work was completed as originally quoted without the wall or balcony clean for the original price and the team was amicable and polite when returning the keys and extra cash they had coerced out of her. I cannot stress enough DO NOT USE SUPERIOR CLEANING AND PEST as they are not afraid of resorting to Unethical and Unacceptable business practices to get your money.
