I contacted the Suzuki Customer Care Helpline on the 3/2/2026 asking about the delays in releasing the Suzuki Fronx , it has a product recall in place preventing the cars release to customers who have paid in full for the car. Spoke to a woman named… Read more

xxxxxx and she noted my question and promised to get back to me within 24 to 48 with whatever info she could gather. I had no response for a full week, so I again called the helpline and asked to speak to the same woman on the 10/2/326. She was not available at the time but the female staff member said she would pass on my request to xxxxxx to call me back later that day. No contact or missed call recorded. I called again on the 11/2/2026 and finally got through to xxxxxx at which point she advised that no information on the car release problem was available and she was apologetic for not responding a week earlier. I gave her a serve about her failures as a customer service person. Her final response time was a mere fraction of the time I had wasted trying to get through to her or gain any factual info. Whilst I do not expect customer service staff to perform miracles, I do expect that they should have the decency to return calls promptly given it’s a basic requirement in customer service. The woman’s name is available on request should the Customer Care Helpline Manager wanting to know which staff member needs a customer care refresher. The whole experience was disappointing.

Follow-up  · The delay was a manufacturing issue of Suzuki vs Safety accreditation. Some of the models had issues with seatbelts. The dealer tried their very best to help us out, they really could not have been more obliging. They gave us a few different types of loaners for varying periods. Well this story has a happy ending.Called into my local dealer in Newcastle looking to purchase the new Fronx with some add ons to the value of $1600. So drive away price $31,595. to call them back and would try to price match which I thought strange. Called Maitland who were excellant to deal with. I am buying the Fronx from them for $31,000! So a huge saving for me! I called Newcastle Suzuki I was going elsewhere and to thank them for the test drive and the young sales assistance informed me they had sold the car anyway and I said you could have sold two! Needless to say I'm very happy I've gone with Maitland Suzkui Greg White

Bought a brand new car, attempted to redeem our complimentary service at 1000km but was convinced by the service shop that it wasn't necessary until 10,000km. Called back at 10,000km and was advised it was just a standard service fee and the complimentary service was no longer redeemable. Show details

Suzuki Australia will give you nothing but headaches – 2 days ago NEW Needs to be a zero star option for these guys, from the reviews and I agree…. DONT BE FOOLED… buy a brand new car that comes with New Car Warranty, and they don’t want to honour anything! Better yet, they give you every excuse to say it’s a retail repair, when I even got an expert to say it was manufacturing. Take it from me…… Read more

someone who purchased a brand new car from them that has been off the road for 3 months, pending a current National Civil and Administrative Tribunal hearing.

If you want to buy a brand new car from a manufacturer who doesn’t honour Australian Consumer Law, Suzuki Australia is your go to. If you purchase a car from this manufacturer, make sure you’ve got plenty of free time on your hands, got a spare car sitting around and/or money for a hire car and some extra money to throw around on expert certificates and legal proceedings.

DONT BUY A SUZUKI – Brought a new car from Suzuki in Feb 2024 nothing but headaches the dealership newspot motors after sales service was disgusting I brought and paid for roof racks they told me they would fit them at my first service, first service comes around and they told me they don’t have them anymore they had been put back in stock seriously something I paid… Read more

for and own went back in stock and obviously given to someone else as they had none and after me having a strongly worded conversation with them was set to another one of their dealerships to have then fitted.

Issue two there has been an extremely loud ticking sound coming from my jimmy roof since the day I brought it it’s so loud. The patronising man at the dealership had the nerve to tell me the only reason I can hear it is because it’s in the forefront of my mind, really mate? No the reason I can hear it is cause it’s so loud you can’t not f ing hear it. They also gauged a nice chuck of metal out of my back door while trying to remove the roof lining to investigate said noise. Note it’s been 8 months and they still haven’t fixed the damage.

Third issue my car is less then 12 months old and now all the paint is peeling off the roof.

All these issue have been raised with Suzuki Australia as well they tried to refer me back to the dealership. As yet no response or resolution from Suzuki or the dealership

DO YOUR SELF A FAVOUR DONT BUY A SUZUKI

Won't use this Suzuki service centre again – Had the misfortune of taking my Ingis for first service to Carco WA. Yes, they are a used car dealership, located in Midland WA in an ex Bunnings hardware store. A giant shed with no air con, no service customer waiting area ( a few seats in an area along side the used cars that are for sale) no water, no coffee or tea. Stinking hot shed. Perhaps that's why the service people are so rude, cranky and confortational.

Never get Suzuki again - Service is below par – Should be zero stars, and i wish i read all of these reviews before purchase. The cars can be good but getting a warranty repair seems to be almost impossible. And even if possible.. it takes weeks. So you are without a vehicle for this long, it is ridiculous. Not expecting within the hour service.. but 3 weeks JUST to get the initial inspection,… Read more

which has to be done in person so i would have to pay for a tow (even though i can send them very clear photos of the broken part).. and then they have to apply to Suzuki for the warranty so have no idea how long that takes, and it could come back a no for warranty (by the looks of the reviews this could easily happen). So instead of weeks, maybe months of waiting (being this close to Christmas break too i would assume it could go into next year), not being able to drive anywhere, paying for other transport.. and possibly get a no anyway with regards to a warranty repair.. The mechanic around the corner can get me in tomorrow and replace it for under $200. (He is also the one to initially advise that i should check with Suzuki warranty first as it should not happen within 2 years of use and told me the closest Suzuki dealership... THAT is customer service even when i have never actually been a customer there before).

I have never had this with any other car, both new and old.. this is horrible service. And it looks like it is not dealer location specific.. it is Suzuki service all over. Cars are mechanical and issues can always occur no matter how careful someone is or how much they take care of their car.. it is the warranty and/or service that is important for when these issues occur that gives one piece of mind when purchasing a newer car with the hope of reliability in the vehicle and the reliability of the service when it is required. Suzuki fails.

Awful spot for a car service – I’ll never have any business with them again. I booked in a major service for my Swift at the their website, selected an available day and left a note mentioning I required specifically the 90K service with the timing belt replacement. A few days later, I am called back, and told the day I selected on the site was fully booked, and the next… Read more

available day was over a month later. That’s fine; I came on the new date, and I’m told our car is booked for a REGULAR service. The reception girl was shocked at how this fault could happen and re-booked me in again for another day about two weeks later. I came again at 8:30; early in the day, and right on time, and I’m told same crap – I’m booked in for another REGULAR service! But this time the reception girl made a written correction on the papers informing the fitters to complete a timing belt replacement. I’m then called again at the very end of the day, and told that the timing belt wasn’t changed, because they didn’t have a new one in stock. Seriously? What the hell could have taken this long? Enough is Enough! No more business with Newspot Eastside Suzuki! If you are looking for a proper and reliable service for your car, this is an awful spot.

I will no longer be buying new from suzuki – After purchasing my pride and joy 4 years ago all has gone well and I actually service it more than stated in the book. Sadly I must agree – The cars are great but the dealers are woeful. Perhaps I see this because I'd like to order a Jimny. This destroys the brand as loyal customers expect better treatment. The dealer here has had a near-new… Read more

did not receive. After I had to wait 3 weeks to get the service done.

That’s not the worst, my cars oil cap was not replaced after the top up and the whole engine was full of oil, now I ask how does the supervisors or work shop manager check if the work was done, have they even taken the car for a test drive. If they did that would be noticed straight away, or you can smell the burning oil.

I Keep getting ignored by the branch, I have send emails and only reply was, “We apologise for your experience but hope this does not affect how you feel about Suzuki “

So now I have been left to social media to make you aware that you are not a valuable customer, they try to tell people, they only take your money and no service. Again this was only at Mandurah Suzukki, the rest of my experience was great. I would love for someone to call me and explain, I have a reference number I can provide.

Would not have my car serviced by Suzuki dealers if the service was free – Suzuki valve lash clearance is supposed to be done every 30k km as part of normal service and should include replacing the shims to adjust the gaps as necessary. By the time the engine reaches 100k all gaps would be well out of specs and would have required swapping and replacing some shims. These shims are like hens teeth in Australia as dealers… Read more

don't stock them despite being consumable items and required for a by the book service. I was recently quoted 6-8 weeks to get these shims from Japan and you may be thinking I must have a very rare or very old car . Not so, the shims I was after are the same part number fitted to a number of popular vehicles including Swift, Vitara, Jimny, SX4, Ignis, Liana, etc. and also a large number of 4 stroke outboards made by Suzuki. So the BIG question is how does Suzuki complete a proper service without the required parts being available in Australia ? I'd suggest that next time you take your Suzuki for a service under warranty request a copy of the valve gaps report and ask for the old shims if the Valve Lash Clearance box was ticked. Chances are the mechanic never took the cylinder head cover off let alone checked the valves since they wouldn't have the shims to adjust the lash even if they wanted to do it. As with most dealer services its a matter of changing the oil and filter and hope the engine will not fall apart until is out of warranty.

issues identified and left with Norris Motor Suzuki.. Should have realized when no-one at the service center had a clue how Android Auto worked this would be a disaster. 3. Paint scratches from pre-delivery not fixed as said that was a sales issue not service issue, when suggested it is a Norris Motor issue and that I dont care about internal Norris Motor departments all when downhill.. It turns out there is not a single person who is responsible for anything at Norris Motor Nundah. They blame the customer for poor communication between their internal departments. It was even suggested I call the sales department and get them to call the service department to get the scratch fixed, yes they about 3 meters apart in the same building!!! 4. Not a single issue was addressed including the scratch from pre-delivery.. The head of service was not responsible for anything including the lack of any action on any issues, and refused to fix the defects.

A car is only as good as its service and Norris Motor have demonstrated a complete lack of any customer service, based upon actual experience with my new Suzuki, I would suggest one seeks an alternative to Norris Motor Suzuki Nundah. I should have purchased a new Mazda 3 to replaced my old Mazda 3, Suzuki service sucks.. Purchasing a new Suzuki from Norris Motor Suzuki was a tragic mistake.

Bewared... seek out a Suzuki dealer who cares..
