We had an excellent experience with this company. They provided all boxes and arrived on time with a crew of 3 and a large truck. The move took approximately 6 hours and they handled everything from picking up a large piano and outdoor area deck chairs. Considering it was a move of more than 14kms, we found this company excellent value for money and will continue to use their service for future moves.

tried repeatedly to get in touch — emails, voicemails, texts — no response.

There was no other way I could find to get in contact with this company, so booked another group. I notified the salesperson in writing and requested a refund of the deposit. I couldn’t find anything in their terms and conditions stating the deposit was non-refundable.

The night before the *original* move date — at 6pm — I finally got a call asking if I was ready for the next day. I explained everything, resent my emails, and was told I’d receive a refund. That was the last I ever heard from them.

I followed up multiple times, then escalated it to the Office of Fair Trading. Even they received no response and have now closed the case, suggesting I take it to a tribunal. At this point, I’ve given up.

Reading other reviews, it looks like they sometimes do a good job with the move itself. But I never got that far! Proceed with caution.

Came late but worked fast – Sydney City Removalists were great to work with. We did book for a 7am slot in the morning which they called us the night before to say due to an issue they would need to move us to the 12pm-2pm timeslot. Andrew arrived at 2.30pm however they worked fast and had everything from our 2 bedroom unit packed moved and unloaded in just 4 hours. Amazing professionals! – Maryo and Marino were super helpful moving our three bedroom house. They were on time, efficient and made the whole process alot less stressful! They got the job done and were very quick and easy.

Great guys, would use again! – Yousef and Alex showed up promptly at 7am on moving day. Their friendly demeanour made us instantly comfortable with them in our home. specifically requested a morning time slot as we knew the move would take some time. We packed well, used good quality boxes and labelled them “Fragile” where appropriate. We moved most of the boxes down the stairs ourselves into our ground-level garage to reduce the stair travel required for the movers. We booked 2 weeks in advance, and called the day prior to confirm. We did EVERYTHING we could to make this move smooth.

At 6pm the evening before we received a (very rude) call from the Operations Manager, [Name Removed], to say the truck had broken down and the only available time slot tomorrow was an afternoon one. After some negotiation, we agreed instead on 9 - 9:30am (2 - 2.5hrs later than the time originally booked, but better than the afternoon). The movers arrived at 10:30am (>3>hrs later than originally booked), and I had to repeatedly call their office manager, [Name Removed], and [Name Removed], for an ETA. The truck was immediately clearly too small and NOT the 6 - 8 tonne truck booked. It was also un-labelled and in disrepair. The movers were gruff and one of them didn’t speak English, which made communication very difficult throughout the day. After some frustration at the lateness and too-small truck, we eventually agreed to proceed and try and pack as much as possible into the truck. To [Name Removed], one of the mover’s credit, he did pack efficiently, eventually fitting almost all of our belongings in one trip. However, blankets and shrink wrap were not used appropriately and many of our items were shoved/bent, fragile boxes turned upside down, etc, during the process. It took 4hrs to pack the truck, numerous pieces of our furniture were scratched in the process, and I (a 50kg, 5-foot female), did as many trips up and down the stairs as they did.

On arriving at the move destination, they complained about the walk to the apartment (despite us noting this when booking). My partner and I had to pack, unpack and repack our car >10x to help move many of the items, using our own trolley to bring at least half of our belongings up the lift. Over the course of the day they become gruffer and rougher with our belongings, and I had to repeatedly remind them to be careful, not trusting them to navigate the new apartment without damaging it when depositing the furniture. I then repeatedly pointed out scratches to our furniture, boxes that were rattling that shouldn’t be, and new marks present on the walls of the apartment, to which they laughed, shrugged and said “What do you want us to do about it?”

At the end of the day [Name Removed] and I had an argument re. payment, with him threatening to stop the final stages of the move if I didn’t pay 1hr before finishing. We eventually settled on $1300 (+ $100 deposit previously paid on booking = $1400) for a move that took 8hrs when it should have taken 6hrs, for our items to be damaged, some irreparably, and for my partner and I to have done half the work ourselves. I’m tired, angry, and I will be posting this review on EVERY platform your company advertises on and forwarding your details to NSW Fair Trading. Do yourself a favour, and steer the hell clear of this unprofessional, inefficient and overpriced moving company.

resulted in us being told they couldn’t move it all because for some reason multiple trips were out of the question. The truck them broke down in our driveway full of our stuff for 4 hours. They finally got moving and told us they’d arrange a truck for the following day. The story changed many times throughout the day with us then only getting to talk to someone from the main office when they called to chase payment for the day. They said they would send a truck the following day (today) and they have now ghosted us - leaving us with a third of our belongings at the old house.

wrap glass table and TV in a paltry amount of bubble wrap and charge me an extra $100 dollars, scratched timber and metal tops of two coffee tables that now need to be replace by me at cost of. Multiple thousands, bed frame only partly assembled. Then part way thru unload called by head office for payment. When expressed frustration about delay and damage, threatened they would not unloaded rest of my good. So I paid. Please avoid these people.

Great – Michael and Yusuf did very well, were thorough, and careful. Had a 3 bedroom unit to move and were patient when dealing with some difficulties with the storage company.

Absolutely disgusting company – What a joke! We booked them for 5 hours and they left half our furniture at our old place when it would have fit in the truck. Didn’t load any of our boxes into the truck either. Took their time and one of the 2 males were constantly on the phone talking to someone. the truck. When booking over the phone I never got told they were NOT taking tv’s or any cabinets that had glass. We were told on the day we would have to pay an excessive amount more to have those things taken. They never disclosed a fuel charge (got charged almost $250 extra just for fuel) as they never sent me a confirmation email for the price I was told over the phone. Broke our belongings and also damaged the property we were moving out of by ripping up the Lino on the floor, chunks out of the tile stairs out the front and chunks out of door frames. They refused to unload the truck unless it was paid in full after questioning the price as it was close to $300 over what I was told. They would not hand over our belongings and threatened to take our things with them to their storage which we would have to pay for to retrieve. All of this happened in front of our small children who were stressed out not understanding what was going on.

Scam artists, and money hungry trying to take advantage of people. Stay clear of these people, they will con you of your money, refuse to give you your belongings and give you a crap service which results in you having to spend more money having to hire another company to finish the job. I ended up being almost $1000 out of pocket having someone else do the job they should have done.

SCAMMERS – I don’t normally leave reviews but we booked these guys for an afternoon slot, paid the deposit of $75, got a confirmation email and then they never showed up. Never contacted us and haven’t answered a phone, email or text since. I’m 38 weeks pregnant and we had to book a van and then get airtasker guys to come help us move since we had to be out that day. Criminals and scammers – We booked these guys to move a 3 bedroom apartment from one apartment block to the apartment block immediately next door. We have a LOT of stuff. front of the apartment building. They loaded about 10 boxes into their truck then decided it was too far to walk from the lift to the truck so they refused to do anymore until the large truck and extra man turned up. The manager of the company wasn’t answering the phone so we asked them to unload the truck and we would book with another company. They refused to unload the truck until we paid for 2 hours of their time (about 10 mins working and 1 hour standing around). They then locked the truck and drove off with our boxes. We had to call the police. The manager then answered my call and told me he had told them to drive off. They didn’t have a big truck or extra man to send. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are scammers and crooks and highly unprofessional.

hours!)... this 10 minutes turned into 45 minutes. I told them I was not impressed and felt like they were not legit and was promised a discount. Upon moving my items which should have taken 4 hours, this took 6 hours and they refused to take my items off the truck until I had paid the invoice... which was a text message from the owner who refused to answer his phone all. The discount was a lie and I was stuck on the phone for half an hour with the boss arguing.

Please please please do not use this company at all. Overall I was charged $818, plus the deposit. I am now trying to battle them as my coffee table is damaged and they said they had insurance.. which I am sure is now a lie.

They also operate under Bondi Furniture Removals.. so beware!

price increase (obvious lie since they definitely had my correct details). Then the owner of the company wanted me to pay for the redelivery of my furniture before it was removed from the truck (price is supposed to be calculated on an hourly basis). I should also mention they refused to take responsibility for the damaged/lost items. Customer service is also a joke and refused to take my matter seriously. Warning: [Name Removed] is the shadiest person I've ever dealt with.

Doesn't turn up, doesn't refund, doesn't take calls – SCR was booked in for a move on Friday 11am-2pm. Not only did they not turn up, but even when I rang at 4:30pm, they said they were coming as soon as a truck became available (at 4:30pm on a Friday!!!!). They couldn't provide any other details and stopped taking my calls. Just horrendous. Had to book with someone else for the next day.

got out of bed that morning before the ‘supposedly removalist arrive between 7-8am’. NO TRUCK, NO MEN ALL DAY! They lied and eventually didn’t even respond to calls or texts! One moment they said the truck broke down, needed fixing and and the next moment no answer to calls or texts. Had to get my wife call from a different no. after which they picked up once and then gave more excuses. They said they have 30 trucks and all are out for other jobs. They wasted our time, didn't answer to calls and left us hanging in the darkness the whole day. Was so frustrated by 4 PM, so we asked for a refund via SMS which they obviously have ignored. Luckily we were able to receive our refund back after 2 weeks once we raised a credit card dispute via our bank. Anyways that was the last we were able to speak or hear from them! Moving is always stressful but this is beyond stressed! Based on my experience, this is a BOGUS company and they create FAKE google reviews to boost their ratings, FAKE website to scam more victims. Please DO NOT use this service and save yourselves the headache.

SCR Won't show up on moving day even after paying the deposit fee and will never respond to your calls – Guys, Please don't ever book this company as they are a scam. We had our booking scheduled on a Saturday, and the time slot was between 11 am-2 pm; we waited for the whole day and called multiple times with no response. Whenever we called it, it straight ended up in voice mail. We deposited $65 a week before the moving, yet this is how we ended up moving furniture ourselves.

other removalists would normally park in the area. They refused my suggestion at beginning but they realised there was no other option, so they took my suggestion in the end…it took 30mins to park the truck. They took a longtime to remove my stuff (again, my stuff is just for 1 bedroom size), I am a pregnant but I had to help them otherwise it would have taken them ages.. They never said thank you for my help, and they kept working slow. Finally we went to the new unit, where they were very careless with my stuff. I labelled all my boxes and organised it to make them easy but didn’t seem to care. Glass box and book box they treated same. They placed heavy boxes on top of the glasses box… I complained to their manager but there was no apologies. They keep asking how I’m going to pay during moving. When I paid them by cash, they took the money from me without say anything. They were so rude. I wouldn’t use this company ever. I really don’t want other people to waste their money and time. So please please avoid this company!!!

Scam - will offer cheap flat rates then put ridiculous fees on top – Move to a 2 bedroom unit. Please avoid, don’t believe the good reviews (easy to see through) and go with a reputable, honest company.

Fantastic customer service !!! – Outstanding customer service! I sent an enquiry late Saturday night and received a call and quote the next day!
