I sent an enquiry to this company regarding a kea Motorhome for sale through only vans. I got a callback from one of the sales guys 3-5 grs later telling me the van in question was already sold. I told the sales guy I was looking for a 2019 kea motorhome & had cash waiting. He told me he had a van that came in 3 days prior & was not listed for… Read more

sale yet. I gave my budget & the price was accepted subject to a viewing. I had lined my cousin up in Sydney to view the van only to get a bloody text message from the salesman telling me he sold the van!!!! This company has no regard for customers, the salesguy should have told me he had someone else interested instead of wasting my time! He reckons he gave me every opportunity to buy the van. Total bull.... if that were true I would have been let view the van & leave my deposit. I told this salesman I had cash waiting & was going to fly up from Melbourne & drive it home. It was also on Victorian plates.

I do see this company has a very low rating on Product Review & this reflects in the way I was dealt with. I will buy a $92,600 van elsewhere.

Poor to no service at all, do not buy from these idiots – We paid a deposit to get our van built at the Penrith show last year. 10 months later, we received an email to say it was ready to pick up….but we discovered the carafan wasn’t installed, and the outdoor kitchen was missed as well. 62 days later the van is still not ready, and we are so frustrated and we seem to just go round and round in circles.… Read more

We were told the kitchen be an additional 8 weeks and it’s too late about the carafan, it can’t be fitted now. Still waiting for an outcome or some answers as to when this will be fitted and finalised so we can travel. We have sent numerous emails, made several phone calls and we even travelled 5 hours to view the van thinking the service would be better face to face and we would eventually get somewhere if we fronted in person. Nope, nothing, still getting the run around and no answers as to when it will be ready. This is the worst customer service we have ever encountered and we wish we had never met these people or bought a van though them, disgraceful. We just want to say shove it but we would be back to square one and we really think they would not care.

Sales great, service ughhhhhhhhhhhh – I want to say a very big thank you to Ruby and all the team at Sydney RV Group. It is specifically hard for 2 women buying a car or caravan let alone a motorhome but Ruby has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. From picking us up at the train station to managing a great deal for us,she has been awesome. Even on the day we were… Read more

coming to pick it up Ruby arranged for Adam to pick us up as she wasn’t working that day. The we had handover with a lovely man ( cant remember his name though ) He was not stingey on the time allotted either, we asked so many questions and they were more than helpful in answering each and everyone of them, they even let us video it just in case we forgot anything ( which we have ). We would highly recommend Sydney RV Group to everyone especially woman as no question is too silly The whole experience though was let down though by the service area. On our way home we encountered some issues that needed repairing. It was like pulling teeth getting them to respond but over the next few weeks I continued to call and call in order for them to respond and they finally agreed to the repairs which were done.

Patience, and (finding the right person) is very much a virtue – Back in July my wife and I decided to purchase a used motorhome from Sydney RV Centre. The initial experience was a disaster, three breakdowns, which I believe was a problem with the vehicle's computer being scrambled, and we were no nearer to a solution. The sales and service staff were sympathetic and seemed to be doing their best, but… Read more

different sensors kept failing. A suggestion of a refund or replacement met the same response, "Sorry that's above my pay grade." Then I contacted Mr Norman Rae. Despite this being a time of intense personal difficulty for him Norman immediately took charge of the situation. "Come back to the centre, look around and find the vehicle you wish to exchange your motorhome for." We did just that, and received a full refund on what we had paid for the first vehicle, a great deal on the replacement motorhome. A full service, and all with a smile and understanding for our situation. We have just now completed our first tour, to North Queensland, and it was a joy. I've spoken to numerous people we met along the way and related our experience to them, and in general they were amazed that we received such outstanding service. Thank you Norman, thank you to the service department, thank you Sydney RV Centre. If we decide to upgrade our motorhome in the future then it will be Sydney RV Centre we will go to first and foremost., I heartily recommend them.

Thanks Bethaney from Sydney RV for all your support. We had a fault that nearly caused the loss of Van and could have ended in a major accident. Rick was the icing on the cake—helpful, knowledgeable, and always ready with honest, no-nonsense advice. His support made all the difference.

When we're ready for our next van, Charlie and Rick will be the only calls we make!

Amazing customer service – What an amazing experience. Elisha was so professional and managed to sort everything perfectly. She even checked in as I was travelling by coach and train to pick up my camper and she was worried about industrial actions. She deserves to be named employee of the month for sure. I’m so happy with my Talvor. It’s the perfect campervan for me.

Won't Honour Warranty Work – I would strongly recommend avoiding this company when looking to purchase a new caravan or motorhome. I purchased a New Age Road Owl through Everything RV and after waiting 2 years for delivery our van arrived damaged. After 4 weeks of having owned the van and not having even used it, they claimed that I had owned it too long to claim damages.… Read more

Everything RV initially tried to assist me with my claim, however quickly palmed it off to Sydney RV. (name removed) from Sydney RV initially said he would help and that the repairs would be carried out after my claim was partially rejected from New Age. I have tried making contact with (name removed) numerous times over the past 4 months via email and phone, only to be ignored. I have now been forced to raise a complaint with the Department of Fair Trading. Even after informing Everything RV and Sydney RV of my complaint they have not made contact. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs!!

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS BUSINESS!!!!! – @SydneyRV #SydneyRV what a despicable business you are. I have left it a few days to write this as I thought I may calm down, but it appears I am still very upset, disgusted and furious about what you have done to us. based on the promise we would have it by Xmas - December 2022. After many emails and phone calls from me to General Sales Manager - most of which went unanswered and not replied to, we we told on December 14th we will not get our caravan in December. Brett went on to offer an alternate van which did not have the inclusions in the original van and at additional cost to us as well. So 10 days out from when we were supposed to be hitching it to our car, we are told this awful news. Add to that the $8k + spent on vehicle to ensure towing capacity and safety plus the $7.5k spent widening driveway to accommodate the caravan in a safe and appropriate area. To say we are devastated is an understatement. Upon reading reviews about this business it turns out the "Too Bad - So Sad" attitude of the company is common practice.

Only want your money – Once your deposit is paid and time has lapsed for a refund they don't care about the customers . payments from them. I would not recommend this company at all . Only 1 decent worker there and he only deals in parts. Apollo owns the company so the quality shows is the standard of the service there after they have your money .

Shocking service , don’t buy from this company! – Bought our caravan brand new , sales people were lovely . The after sales service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. don’t reply too . They need to find new staff in their service department because they have no idea what the word “ service” is supposed to mean . I’ve reported this to the sales staff who have done their utmost to help us . The biggest mistake you’ll ever make if you buy from here ! “ awarding winning service” disgrace!

Looking over these reviews it’s apparent that there is obviously a problem with service , so why don’t they do their due diligence and either change the staff or employee more staff !!

Conclusion did not also come with caravan to be told that it was old conclusions paper work within this time also found out that the caravan was actually 3 years old so I was also lied too. Have gone to a solicitor with no reply from them as I’m wanting my money back and now fair trading with still no response from them. I would never recommend this company to no one. Feeling ripped off – I travelled to Penrith in June 2017 from Townsville to buy an RV Motorhome from Sydney RV after research on the internet. At the time I had completed my second Chemo treatment at the Townsville Oncology Centre. I was told my prostate cancer, Stage 4, was fatal, so I thought I would buy an RV and bugger off and enjoy my short remaining time. The… Read more

sales lady offered me what I thought was great service. Well during my chemo treatment, I trusted the sales lady, Ruby. We had already emailed, face timed etc, so all I had to do was inspect the RV and conclude my purchase. I knew absolutely screw all about travelling in a van, and had never driven a 4 tonne truck before. My thinking was that by dealing with a large company, with a large inventory, that they must be solid and that they would look after me. ..... WRONG!

The RV I bought was a late 2013 513 Diesel Sprinter with a 2014 Talvor 6 Berth coach.

The "hand over" employee, Reg, professed to be professional - not so!!! None of the outside locks worked, apart from the 513 Sprinter cabin door locks and the Thetford WC cassette door - none! All six tyres were set at 40 lbs instead of the 80 lbs stated on the tyres themselves. I drove 4900 ks back to Townsville on under pressured tyres on a 4 tonne vehicle! ... Lucky, I guess! ... I never thought to check them as the "expert" hand over man, had prepared the RV.

During the recent Townsville floods, the roof leaked and damaged the cabinetry enclosing the fridge and the m/wave installed above, the shelf has buckled and the m/wave door cannot be opened.

And then, we had the one in 500 year weather event in Townsville where it rained - heavily - for around two weeks, nonstop. The roof leaked badly and must have been in this condition upon my pick up.

I have previously informed by email, the sales lady Ruby, of some of these matters - no reply to date! .. However, she was service personified to me for which I thank her.

Since then I have recently been informed that mould has destroyed the interior of my RV. CIL has stated that they would write my RV off - and CIL will pay me out for my purchase price. _ As of 11th June 19. - This saga began on 11th Jan 2019.

Because of my cancer and treatment, I have yet to do any travelling - the RV stayed in my front yard awaiting insurance to respond. I paid a little over $80,000. I am out of pocket for Registration, and transfer fees.

I rue the day of my decision to do business with Sydney RV.

I am now in the market to buy a RV Motorhome for around 105,000.

David Camp 0418 771 435____

As of 21st June 2019, I have ordered a brand new Jayco Conquest from Brisbane Camperland. I will catch a tin pidgeon from Townsville Monday, sparrows fart, landing in Brisbane Town at 7:40am.

I will then drive via a mates luxury boat in Harvey Bay marina, stay one night and continue on to Townsville.

I ended up spending $110,000 with a few extras. After tidying up my abode, I will then commence my travels, something that I have been dreaming of.

Will let you know how I fare with this RV.
