Bad attitude – Bad attitude with a fat guy(sorry didn't know his name). The email just said have ID for pick up,and he keep asking what's the item with bad attitude. Also got the phone on Friday they said their opening hours is until 1pm on Saturday and don't open on Sunday,told me come on Monday. Very ridiculous

arrived in September 2022 and I picked it up shortly after. The laser had some defects which 'Luke' told me was normal.
The laser then had a major fault (not being level as the screw inside fell out) in March 2023 when I was in Newcastle and was advised by Brendan in Sydney Tools Kotara that the warranty had to be done where the item was purchased. I asked for a store credit to purchase another laser but he didnt budge.
I ended up purchasing another one out of pocket and when i returned to Sydney in June 2023, i started the warranty process. I finally heard back from a 'Jason' from SydneyTools Silverwater and he called saying that the item is unrepairable due to no parts available. He didnt provided me a solution and then told me the item warranty of 12 months expired in May 2023.
'Jason' then told me to contact head office for all other issues. What an absolute joke.
Not only did I bring in the broken item within warranty, but also physically picked up the item in September 2022 and the delays that SydneyTools staff have caused, this has now brought it out of warranty. Further noting, an item failing near 12 months is well within bounds for me to bring up the ACCC and Australian Consumer Law.
Terrible product and terrible customer service.
Absolute nightmare – Took laser to get calibrated, returned uncalibrated, so took it back ,they said it couldn't be fixed ,so why the $240 charge,then they returned the laser and it wasn't even mine ,no credit,no info,nothing

without using the word “faulty” as I don’t want to blame anyone for that. The other one is crimper. I explained to two of them the reason and one of them goes off work before he helps me process the exchange and the other pretends not to know what has happened later when he processes the exchange. There is another guy who has no idea what I’m talking about and doesn’t even let me to explain to him, shows his impatience and forces me to accept their offer, otherwise they would stop serving me. I’ve been to this store several times because it’s closer to my place and I can find some tools that I can’t find from Bunnings. But based on this experience, I won’t go to this store anymore. They upset me so much not because they can’t provide any professional advice on what happened, but it’s about their attitude, especially the third guy who is so rude to me. I checked Sydneytools return policy and the description of the crimper I bought, and compared the description with similar tools online, I still can’t tell why I bought a wrong tool or can not ask for refund or credit. Plus, I showed my tools to my colleagues but no one could explain why the die of crimper was designed like that. Finally, I left the shop without taking the crimper and placed orders on eBay, unbranded but can be used. BTW, I can't see my review on Google, so I post it here.
This was the best service i've ever had – I was served by the store manager Brendan, he was extremely helpful, & went out of his way to help me find what i was looking for, so awesome service from them. The warranty severice is very bad – I sent the tool to silverwate for warranty repair on December last year 2020. Two months were gone. Still nothing happened and no any answers. I'm a handyman, no tool I can't do anything. I need to think to buy tools from this shop.

Very good customer service – Love all Sydney Tools stores but this one has the great stock and a huge selection of discount items. Great customer service, I was assisted by Miles who was very helpful from the start up until I got everything I wanted from the store. Special order came 2 days later – Great service from Ash at the Silverwater store, very friendly and helpful, purchased a vac saw and he special ordered the product and had to me within 48 hours! do not buy any stuff from sydney tools at all – they don't have any responsible staff at all, and their aftercare service is really horrible horrible horrible, they just be a good person when they selling, you will found nobody to help you when you meet the problem about the tools faulty, they could let you wait over 5 months for a warranty repairing and will return you back with a same faulty tool

tool had not looked my tool up yet so, following Saturday, I decided to visit Sydney tool to pick up my drill and ask someone else to repair since my drill is every day tool for me as a mechanic. But when I got there and asked my tool back, the repair clerk said he did not have my drill at store, sent somewhere else and waited for quote from there. I was frustrated so asked back him 'why didn't you tell me it will take more than a week to get quote?' He said, 'I don't know. Did I take the tool from you? Who tooked your tool last week? I DON'T have your tool here. What do you want me to do?' It was so rude and ridiculous situation for customer service and I wanted to get out of the shop because I was with my wife on that moment. I realised I cannot communicate with this clerk and ASKED A VERY simple question, 'when can I get a quote?' And he refused to answer and kept saying 'I don't have your tool. What do you want me to do?'
Today is 30 Jun 2018. Still I did not get back anything from Sydney tools Silverwater.
