Don’t do it to yourself or your friends – The worst paint I have ever used. Exactly the same experience as the other 1 star reviews - thank goodness I read them before doing a second coat! I have painted many houses and after spending waaaay too much effort trying to make this paint job look good, wondered if maybe I wasn’t losing my touch after all, and if in fact, it could be the paint.… Read more
I have spent 3 miserable days of my precious holiday time trying to make this work and it still looks awful. It’s a great paint to buy an enemy. Do not use if you are vulnerable: it may drive you to drink excessively to numb the pain.
Preparation is essential – Great product. as with all painting, good preparation is essential. water stains should be cleaned and sealed before painting otherwise they keep bleeding through. (though often underestimated, painting is a trade for a reason, don't blame the product if you don't know what youre doing) Show details · 1
'One-coat' is perhaps misleading – I have used this paint on 4 ceilings, 2 of which had patchy water damage. On the ceilings without stains, one coat gives a great finish. On the ceilings with stains, I am looking at probably 4 coats in the affected areas. And even then the result isn't 100% perfect. I guess I could lay down a primer first but ... but that has pros and cons. I… Read more · 1
still like the finish the paint gives and overall recommend it.
Edit: I have now used this on a fifth ceiling which was quite yellow to begin with (due to age). It took two coats to give an awesome result.

Happy with this paint – Easy to use. I had great coverage and was quick to dry. Show details
Terrible – Terrible was hoping to do a ceiling in 1 day in winter so I used this. Was so patchy I ended up doing 4 coats. Still looks terrible and I looked terrible also to my client. Show details

I only use it after 45 years of building practice. Never had any Problems with it – I only use Taubmans one coat ceiling paint and have found it to have great coverage . very low splatter and easy to use and have had no problems with even cover. The low fumes , anti mould additives all add to my choice as I use it in all habitable rooms. I am a retired Architect and builder and use it in my hose and rentals because time is money and it works well. Show details · 1
Awful paint don't recommend – This paint is way to thick to spread properly and after 2 coats it still looks patchy. I certainly would not be using it again and would not recommend it, needless to say I will never paint a ceiling again. Taubmans wall paints are great never had a problem with them. Show details

Absolute Rubbish Never Use Taubmans Again – On to my third coat of Endure One Coat paint and stil not finished. The coverage is thick and poor tried using both 9mm and 12mm roller neither solved the problem Show details

Covers well, looks good – Had 2 ceiling paints, British Paints Ealing white and Taubmans one coat ceiling. Applied British paints first. It was quite runny and dripped badly especially when brushing the cornices. Was not as bad by roller, but it did have lots of small bubbles left after rolling. Mostly these disappeared. Against the previous ceiling white, brand unknown,… Read more · 1
British paints ceiling white appeared slightly yellow, almost an 'off white'. Switched to the taubmans and massive difference. paint was a lot whiter, gripped the roller better. Was a lot thicker. No problems with lines as prior reviews have commented, probably because I lay off each section when the roller is short of paint. This smoothes out any differences in thickness. Not sure whether there is significant time saving as it does take longer to apply. Coverage about 30sq m 4 litre tin. Good opacity so covers spots well. Very happy will buy again.
Would not use again – Bought 20ltrs from bunnings the young man recommended this product over priced so far have applied 3 coats and it is patchy and dries to quick i have even changed rollers still the same result the wall paint is excellent can't fault. Show details

Disappointed again with this product – The Taubmans Endure One Coat Ceiling paint is hard to use. It is very thick, it dries almost straight after you apply it, making it very difficult to achieve an even and smooth finish. I am getting patchy, dry spots everywhere, even though I have applied undercoat first. Although I applied thick, trying not to spread far, now I am onto second and… Read more
third coats to even it out and is even harder to apply because I am not directly painting the undercoated surface. I followed instructions and also spoke to technical support and am doing what is recommended, but this is consuming so much time and additional paint. Will not recommend this product or use it again.

Never again – Went in to Bunnings to buy Dulux ceiling paint which was $175 for 15 litres. The young guy serving to me Suggested I buy taubmans endure ceiling. Which was $179 for 10 litres . But he convinced me that I would save in the long run . Time and money , I put on 2 coats and this thing was still patchy and looked terrible . I could have bought the… Read more
British paint ceiling and it would of done a better job , I rang Bunnings and returned it straight away and they gave me a dulux instead ,no charge. Honestly I have been painting houses for over 30 years and this product is terrible and I wouldn’t even put it on my ceiling if I got it for free . Complete waste of time.

Not recommended. Definitely NOT 'one coat'! Dubious claims. Wish I'd seen reviews – Disappointing. Used this expensive ceiling paint but NOT great coverage, quite patchy, streaky & definitely requires more than one coat. Last time we bought their cheaper Easycoat for the living room ceiling & found that ok. On the plus side it's very low-odour. Show details

Rubbish paint – Leaves lines everywhere, you need to use a large amount to cover the old paint underneath, plus this paint costs almost double of all other paint sold. What a waste of time Show details
Excellent. I used a spray gun and it worked really well – Easy to use, great finish, Ceiling looks like it was professionally painted. Very good value for money. Clean up is also straightforward. I would use again and would recommend highly. Show details
DO NOT USE IT! – up to the 3rd coat (with dulex to try and fix) on a one coat ceiling paint from taubmans. our ceiling is coloured(so not white). patchy, runny and smelly paint. DO NOT USE IT! not to mention expensive... Show details
Great paint - make sure heavy handed – I had read some reviews on this paint before using and must admit had reservations. So I called Taubmans Tech Dept before starting. Was advised to use more paint when rolling which would give better coverage.. it worked Show details
Taubmans endure one coat ceiling paint – After 3 coats I rang Bunnings who offered to replace the paint,I also rang my painter friend and he stopped by and had a look and had no answers as to why it had ended up patchy other than to suggest I use a Bristol paint which he highly recommended so I’m About to apply a 4th coat of so called one coat endure ceiling paint. Went back to Bunnings… Read more
yesterday and had remainder of 10 litre drum replaced with same paint but from a different batch. Bunnings would not replace it with dulux product as I was prepared the difference in costs as it would apparently effect taubmans “warranty “ I’ll give it a 4th coat cause obviously I need the practice but I’ll be taking it further if I get a poor result. My advice ,stay away from taubmans paint unless you like wasting valuable time and effort not to mention the disruption. Ps.i will use Bristol if it goes wrong a 4th time
Not a 1 coat paint – I dont believe there is such a thing as a 1-coat ceiling paint if you are painting over yellowed, unsealed ceiling, (unless you use a spray gun). Existing ceiling surface is usually unsealed gyprock + ceiling paint and is extremely absorbant, so you need a LOT of paint (around half the coverage on the can) to get complete coverage. Plus, the… Read more
borders of the patches you paint with each roller load must be feathered to avoid obvous strips, so even if you overlap well, you will always have areas of incomplete coverage. Next time I will start with a less expensive sealer/undercoat, then possibly Ill manage to cover with 1 coat of a paint like this.
Is not a one coat paint – Taubmans Endure is usually an excellent product so I was surprisingly disappointed with the "one coat" claim. It covers well, but two coats minimum are needed for perfect coverage. Taubmans would do well to remove the "one coat" label and stick with "ceiling paint". Misleading claims may result in consumers questioning their other products. Show details
just ok – This is not cheap paint, however it performs like the cheaper ones. I thought I would buy a quality paint to save this time and effort. Coverage was Ok at best, I have had similar results with cheaper no name brands so why pay more. Would not recommend this product purely on its price. Show details
Good product in right hands – Many people tend to apply ceiling paint too thin and use cheap rollers, plus it is tricky to see the coverage when painting on white. Just finished our house. This paint is a beautiful bright white and gives a quality even finish. Best of all easy to use and almost no spatters!

Don't even look at it, wish I could give it zero – Absolutely terrible ceiling paint. After 3 coats on some areas still needed more, decided to scrap it and by some haymes paint. Should have read the reviews earlier and bought it to start with. So so far superior and actually a bit cheaper. Do not buy the taubmans- go straight to the haymes!
Taubmans – The one coat ceiling paint is awfully smelling especially when used after storing it Do not use it after storing it do not know how to get it off it would like more opinion on this advice urgently, solution needed reason for the smell ? Any body used this paint Ways to get rid of the smell please May be the paint was old a caution to say old paints should not be used should be there
Not good – Could not get a good finish with this paint. Used two tins but finish was sketchy. Give up in the end. Will not use this paint again. Used taubmans on the walls was very happy with that. But not the ceiling paint. Should have bought the pink finish one. Maybe that would be better.
