TCL C835 Series Questions & Answers
VerifiedHas anyone had powering on/off issues - I’ll be in another room and I can hear the ‘click’ for the powering on/off, and when I check the standby light is on, then turns off, then about 30 secs turns on etc. Intermittently too. I de-cabled all devices and still occurred.
I have bought the 55inch version for boxing day from jbhifi. It was the last in stock so I got it for $1020 after minutes of bargaining (price was $1300) I bought it as a second TV for the bedroom, I own a 75inch Philips PUT8265 and I'm very satisfied with the picture quality and especially the ambilight, however the picture quality on this TCL is simply amazing and much better than the Philips. The blacks are almost as black as oled its simply amazing. Sound is great you don't even need a soundbar due to the onkyo system and subwoofer installed. All in all I don't think you will find a better TV for the same price range as this one. 10 out 10 from me.
Hi, I have just bought the 65 inch version of this TV but it is not set up yet. I have heard from one YouTube reviewer that his has a severe coil whine problem and am wondering if this is a common problem with this particular TCL model?
No coil whine on my unit. Hope this helps.
No such whine in mine either. Sounds like the person who posted the comment about the whine, may have gotten a dodgy unit.
Thanks, I appreciate the answers! Best Regards.
The golf photo looks great. How is the picture for watching running team sports? Is it smooth for fast sports like AFL, NRL, NFL, NBA, F1 etc?
great for sports. i have mine for sale for 1300 only 3 months old, im in s.a
Both my wife and I watch a lot of live sport on our set. Cricket, Football, Horse Racing and Motorsport. The picture is superb. One could very well be at the facility itself .
What is it like with the FTA Hd broadcasts?
Compared to my previous QLED TV..... Stunning!
