I bought an e scooter from this company . I was insuli happy with the service until I had some drama with a caliper coming lose then as I went to break it flipped over jamming the rotor and destroying it and the caliper and bracket . I reached out as I'd only owned it for a week asking If the could warranty the parts I needed to repair it and they… Read more
called me a liar saying I must have had an accident to cause the damage. They asked no questions about anything and were straight up rude and did not want to help with the small amount of $110 for the parts to repair. They were happy to take the money when selling but will not honor warranty. Very rude and unprofessional conduct. I would recommend not using this company if you'd like any after sales service .
Out of pocket $1902. Product supplied didn't work, they then blamed us & offered a refund of $1100. No product, no service &now have to endure a lengthy wait going through fair trade. Absolutely gutted
Follow-up · After weeks of sending photos and telephone conversations the product was returned. Couldn't get a refund. I have reported to fair trade as a last resort. See photos attached of apparent damage we caused. Not sure what they meant, bent plugs? Certainly wasnt us. We were also sent pictures of a bike that we didn't purchase suggesting we returned… Read more
Purchased a TDR CJ250 over 12 months ago. Placed a order for 2 rear brake pedals and 2 gear select pedals, 2 months after buying the bike..... one year from that still not received the product even after 5 conversations with them over the 12 month period. i was told everytime it was missed in the incoming orders. it is quite obvious they have no… Read more
spare parts for these bikes. The bike is what it is, a very cheap bike, the Company itself is disgraceful they tell lie after lie. Steer clear if you want to buy a bike from these people once they have your money thats where it finishes. The old saying you get what you pay for !!! we only bought the bike to do a review on it. If i could mark them with no stars i would. Judgements are made on after sales service.... so 1 star !!!!
TDR Moto electric bike – we bought on of these electric bikes https://www.tdrmoto.com.au/products/250w-tdr-mountain-electric-bike-26-27-5-29-downtube-battery?variant=49160557134146 had an error message; turns out it was the 'controller' box for the electronics. the company in Melbourne took the parts, assessed and replaced all at no expense. Very good service
Horrible frustrating and not worth my time – Bought a controller kit for my e bike took 2 weeks to rock up after paying express postage. Open the kit missing two cords, this was $175 for just the controller and led screen, they tell me sorry you have to buy these cords at $40 each and a throttle. It's now up to $220+ Two weeks later my cords rock up and go to plug it all in. Now every hub… Read more
motor i have used with a 9 pin juliet plug the motor cable has always been male ( pins poking out) these butt clowns have used a massive 9 pin male juliet plug on the controller. I tell them the issue basically said motors all have different plugs and sorry we don't supply the cord u will need .
They then said pay for postage and send it back to see if then I'm eligible for a refund but must be unopened in package still.
DONT BUY A THING FROM THEM THEY ARE BASICALLY HORRIBLE SCAMMERS
Happy buy my parts from tdr – I buy all my parts from tdr there best n good prices very good shop i tell my friends to go tdr moto
Unhappy with my honesty being questioned – Battery pack for ebike purchased from TDRMOTO through Catch.com had zero voltage after about 8 hours charging. I noted blown fuse so changed it. Still no voltage, so returned it. Catch was very helpful. However TDRMOTO claimed battery pack had been opened therefore warranty voided, but they would fix it as a courtesy. Said they sent photos as… Read more
evidence. I didn’t receive the photos and definitely did not open the battery pack. My only intervention was to check the fuse. So they wanted postage costs to return the pack to me. ($25). It isn't a lot of money I agree, but the principle annoys me. I wonder if they do this to all warranty claims to decrease their losses? Not a happy Jan, and won’t buy anything else from TDRMOTO.
Dont expect full refund on returned items – I ordered Rear sets for a motorbike and they sent the wrong ones , When i returned what they sent they said I didn't return everything , but I did , then they deducted money from my Repayment. Will never use again
Ebike conversion kit – Purchased a street legal kit to convert my Scott hybrid into an ebike. I purchased the front wheel hub drive version.Installed the kit and it absolutely fantastic. I've done about 1500km with this kit under various conditions. Works beautifully. The only issue that I had was a charger that failed. This was quickly replaced under the terms of the warranty.
Good reliable ebike kits for the price – I build my own ebikes and convert customers bikes to ebikes, I've converted about 20 bikes into ebikes using TDR kits this year with not a single issue, I've had faulty batteries and motors from other brands, so I don't know why they receive such bad reviews
TDR 750w ebike – I am so impressed with this ebike I even gave her the name, "Dreamy". Since new I have done 55.6 kms and the battery still has 2 bars left. This is my 3rd ebike but the most powerful. I only ride it on level one where it gets up to 40km with more to give (i'm 62 lady so get a bit scared). I have become quite lazy and use the throttle and not… Read more
peddle assist, but what I like is I can just use the throttle for a little bit and then glide away for a long while before using throttle again. I was able to put it together easily but couldnt find the on button (LOL) took it to the local bike shop which I would have done anyway just to make sure I had put it together correctly. I had my old ebike for 3 years it only went 25kmh, I know Dreamy and I have lots of happy travelling to do.
Very helpful – I had a fault with an ebike which was my fault when I repaired a wire incorrectly. I was guided in the right direction and fixed it easily. TDRMoto were quite prepared to give me their time to help me. Thank you.
Faulty e-bike battery – Returned faulty battery to have them tell me it’s not the one they sent me !, so I’m now $320 out of pocket !

Reliable parts & easily cheapest in Austr – I dont know how TDR ended up with these bad reviews. Ive just built my 3rd bike. this time a 1500W rear hub motor. Did well over 1000kms on my 1000W TDR build kit, and it still goes fine. The 1500W kit outperforms the specs in every regard. Top speed on throttle alone is 66km/h on a flat road, about 75kmh going down a hill. I have a 29aH 48v UPP… Read more
battery with the TDR motor and kit and i can go flat out full throttle for 40km and the motor and controller domt even get hot.. Ebikes are my full time hobby and i buy everything from TDR nowadays, motors, kits, spares, controllers, cables, everything. Buying from TDRs website is cheaper than ebay. Ive also taken one of the 48v hailong batteries apart to recover the cells so i could build a bigger battery and they are actually decent 18650 Li cells. plus good tight soldering, solid wiring, BMS is properly secured. They are well made batteries for that price range
48V 15Ah battery for conversion kit. Faulty – Bought 48V 15Ah conversion kit. Battery arrived dead flat. Charged for 10 hrs, even though it showed full charge after 3 hrs. I only get 20 klms. Recharge at 20-30%. Full charge (green light) comes on after 2.5 hrs. Charger puts out 2.5Ah per hour ! That's only 7Ah approx. Got a changeover battery on warranty. Same thing. Batteries must be… Read more
recycled, no other explanation, unless battery packs have been short changed. Will not buy Chinese product again. Cheap means cheap.
Won’t last long – Worked great until it suddenly stopped. Tried to fix, there available replacement parts are limited to overpriced semi assembled parts. Overpriced for the quality! Save up and get a quality and reliable kit. If anyone knows if there is such a kit, let me know…
Bought from ebay – They blocked me because the motor wheel died and they said they will not refund me or give me replacement and accused me of damaging wheel when they sell bad products
Second rate bike batteries die – The electric bike kits seem good but the quality is poor. The motor wheels need a visit to a bike shop to tighten the spokes, to stay in shape; worse the battery dies and it's basically cheaper to drive a car... Zero help from company of course with battery failure... Avoid I'm afraid.
Poor design – Poor design beside other mainstream electric scooters, screws falling out rear guard cracked on two of the three third one broken off now I dont use the folding function anymore as the guards are way to flimsy dont think this is as much a problem with other scooters maybe Xiaomi scooters as they look much the same and others are also waterproof… Read more
as well. One month is all it took for one of the three scooters to die on the way home from park with the kids the problem was water damage the lady said lucky the mechanic was telling her that it was covered by warranty from what he seen otherwise she was gonna charge for battery as well. Funny wasnt raining at all!! who likes playing at the park in the rain certainly I dont. In short until they fix these problems just better to pay a little more for a Segway or similar type
Great value, will go back – I purchased an electric scooter in store for my son over Christmas. He's been using it ever since, it works well and he loves the present. The staff I talked to were very helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for good value and quality at a reasonable price.
Nothing but rubbish – I bought 2 bikes from them 1 was $1400 and1 was $1200. . The minute I ride it out of the shop it was making funny noise. The stand fall apart I had to take it back to the Repair that works there that's not interested at all and literally told him what to do. It's know been 8 months and the adapter blow up his i thought the law of this country was 12 months warranty. But no the greedy wife said no no you pay 45.
EXCELLENCE IN AFTER SALES SERVICE SUPPOR – Hi Firstly I purchase item on ebay and delivery experience exceeded Amazon amazing delivery time. I did encounter minor technical problem but after sales service at TDR was outstanding solving timely. Further I thank TDR and look forward to visit them at store after lockdown seeing what the can offer as additional sales. Thank you TDR Best Regards Andrew
Cheap Junk! They don't want to know you when issues arise – Bought 2 ebike conversion kits from them $1000+. One of the LCD display controllers failed after some time on one of the bikes. Bought a new one from them - $70, and when it arrived it was dead! I sent video to them of both bikes working off the one original working LCD controller, to demonstrate that both bikes do work, then videoed neither bike… Read more
working off the replacement they sent. So, they send another. The exact same thing happened. Both bikes work off the one original LCD controller, neither bike worked off the 2nd replacement. Their response? Bad luck, it must be an issue your end! In the next few days someone rode an electric bike in front of my house. They bought it from Aldi. The LCD controller was completely different, nonetheless the rider suggested I try it on our one bike that doesn't work. Viola! It worked and its not even the same model.
Just goes to show that TDR MOTO does sell junk with multiple failures, and will just tell you to buzz off if you try to make them accountable. P.S. I think charging me $70 for the faulty replacement was a joke seeing as though I bought the kit from them and it failed.
