We purchased a solar and battery system in May 2025. The technicians were very friendly and the installation was completed. In December 2025 we had multiple blackouts where we lost all power. I then contacted TechnAus directly via their website. I got a response that someone was looking into it. To their credit, they had a technician out to my house within days. They also requested details to assist with the repair which included login details to an app. They had never before told us about the app and never provided login details. Today they have given me instructions to log into the app which are don't work. The settings i was instructed to go into don't exist on the inverter.

I have asked for reimbursement for the power we have been paying for without realizing it for 9-10 months because their battery did not work. They have advised me that i can't get reimbursement because they didn't know of the issue earlier. They never told us about the app to monitor the system until now and then refuse to reimburse me for my electricity costs because i did not report a fault. A fault that i wasn't aware of because the did not provide me with the app to monitor it.

I still don't know if it's working because i can't access their app using their instructions.

I wish i had done due diligence and looked up their reviews before signing a contract with them. A contract they are in breach of according to consumer law.

Buy a system with Technaus and you are rolling the dice...
