TEMPUR ERGOPLUS PILLOW MEDIUM QUEEN - I had the original for years, loved it I travelled everywhere with it until it was time to replace. Bought the new ergonomic model in smallest size Medium ! It felt ok for 5 minutes in store but then I bought it took home and after 30 minutes of a night into using my neck and side throat is being grabbed on by someone with 2 hands and and it is painful, I got a migraine and back and side pains too I never had before. I really am disappointed, not sure now as apparently cannot return it even after $190!! They should do a free 30 day or 5 night trial for customers. That said i purchased 2 , 1 fir a family member and they are ok with it thus far. If that continues to be the case then i think my head is smaller and would need a size down which doesn't exist in this model of pillow. It can't be that limited in size with just 2 options when the company brand are soo specialised in pillows , this is what designers and product researchers are paid for which is reflected inhe high cost at purchase, you think the research and testing would have already been done. Now i have new aches and pains. Not recommended for smaller built frames, and honestly the store assistants should be trained to help one assess if suitable. A waste of 190$ for me, as i cant even return to swap. Do not buy this newer version it is not comfortable and limits rolling on side as you have the indents on your side cheeks, and the ends are facing up so they pinch into your body. I also contacted Tempur direct about an exchange, and they bluntly refused with a standard 1 liner it is non-refundable. So you are paying a high price, with a questionable and poor level of post sale customer service.

This product is not capable to support your neck as it gradually sinks and becomes flat after you put your head on it for 10 minutes. For years I have been using memory foam pillows that bounce back and support your neck but this one seems to deflate and stays flat. I couldn’t sleep on it and gave me a headache. My opinion is not worth it

Cant live without it – I bought it to replace my Small tempur original I had for 5 years but couldnt find a small size. At first I thought it wont be the same as my old one, but it turned out very comfortable even my husband wants one! This came free with my Tempur mattress.

Love this pillow, again – I've just replaced my first original Tempur pillow which was 6 years old, and I'm extremely happy. I ordered it on sale via David Jones and paid $149 but was prepared to pay the full price, it was just a fluke. It's a great investment. My first Tempur had a cream cover, this one is white.

Worst pillow ever – Extremely hard pillow and does not soften with body heat as told to me by the sales assistant. I developed neck and shoulder pain and also woke up with headaches every day that I used it. I used it for a week then used another pillow for two weeks then went back to it for another two days but the neck and shoulder pain returned. I paid $195 at Forty Winks, don't waste your money, more expensive does not mean better. It may work for NASA in space but it doesn't work here on earth.

Hi, Patricia. It's such a huge shame that you're not enjoying your TEMPUR product, we genuinely believe they are the best in the world.

The TEMPUR material does respond to both heat & weight, as explained by the sales consultant.

I don't know which sales person you spoke to on the day of purchase, but I hope they got you to lay on a mattress to properly try out the pillow before you made any kind of purchase. The TEMPUR range is extensive and contains products tailored for everyone, meaning that we ask all our customers to actually try the range before they make a purchase. This way they find their fit and have a better and more fulfilling nights sleep.

As a fix I would suggest kneeling on the pillow to open up the TEMPUR cells, thus making it feel slightly softer and closer to how the showroom model felt.
