didnt seem to care. Multiple emails to them to follow up what was happening and I only received two emails back and an apology for how I felt about the service but not for anything else. When I purchased the pram I was not advised at anytime if any faults I couldnt come in and exchange it for a new one. 3 weeks later and due soon and im still waiting on a new pram from the pram company to arrive and I have to post the faulty one back on my own. To say the least I dont recommend the Baby Gallery. If they want to keep customers they need to realise that customer service goes a long way.

Poor customer service – I called babygallary three times. Their staffs are impatient and unfriendly. I sent email twice to return the item but no reply. I cannot image that their staff even hung up prior to me. Bad experience and no longer to visit again.

They go above and beyond – I cannot recommend the Baby Gallery highly enough. Staff really go above and beyond to help you and get your products. This was particularly true with me with a bassinet I had ordered. Beautiful product - wonderful service – My personal dealing with The Baby Gallery has been nothing less than amazing. From their friendly and knowledgable customer service, ease of ordering and fast shipping. It is no wonder they have been around for 35 years! In my humble opinion, they are my 'go to' baby store.

Terrible and rude – We purchased a product from The Baby Gallery which has turned out to be faulty or does not work as described on the packaging. When we requested a refund we were told no and the product works fine but they couldn't demonstrate to us that it did. They are happy to take your money but won't help when their product is faulty! – This store is truly an abominable place to purchase baby goods. They're happy to see you any product, but are difficult to deal with if products are faulty or don't work. They don't offer refunds and are rude when issues arise. Please spend your money elsewhere, this business is terrible.

Didn't know products or price match – We went there to try and decide between a Graphene and the Millenia and when I asked the sales person the difference she read off the label (I could have done that!) and then proceeded to tell me that the Millenia is narrower (even though Graphene claims it is) because it looks like it to her. it to another bricks and mortar store they couldn't do it and proceeded to make condescending remarks about the other store (how they will go under selling things below cost).

Also didn't know much about their carriers as couldn't tell the difference between the 3 Stokke items they were selling and making mistakes that I pointed out (made a statement about the product only for me to open the box and point out it wasn't the case).

Also couldnt honour a $20 coupon on a baby carrier because they didn't have that colour in stock and had to order it in (thus layby). Also suggesting they may not be able to bring said item in if their current stock didn't sell. It was the ergobaby 360 Omni mesh (literally one of the most popular items on the market, I doubt they wouldn't bring in more stock, and it sounded like she was trying to deter me from placing the order and using the coupon). Ended up using it on other stuff in the end.

As such couldn't price match anything we intended to buy there. So much for trying to save time and buying it all in the one place.

It all felt rushed (albeit they kept saying they were 2 staff short on a busy Saturday but it just meant poor service and poor advice (especially on the car seat).

I love this place! – I am a mother and I love this place! They have the best service and I’ve been going here for 5 years now and they treat you like family. They have such a good selection and range here and I’ve found them always to be cheaper than baby bunting etc and the design of the store is more luxurious too. I’ve bought 3 prams here, a cot, 2 car seats and they always have the best service.

The girls provided all my guests with a very personalised service, sending pictures to them of the gift, wrapping etc making it super easy for all concerned! Like most, I visited other main competitor stores but could not go past the Baby gallery when it came to outstanding customer service and genuine care!

Our sales associate, LeeAnn, was extremely helpful and friendly, and made our life much easier. Highly recommend that you pay The Baby Gallery a visit, and I wouldn't bother wasting your time elsewhere.

We found the customer service was quite average in the stores, rushed,the knowledge limited for a twin pram and also they could not demonstrate all the twin options, like bassinets & car capsules we were looking for as they had limited stock. THEN we went to Baby Gallery on another day and meet the lovely Helen, whose knowledge and the way she painted different scenarios for us as parents utilising the pram was amazing. She spent so much time with us, to where we went from a choice of 8-10 prams to 2 that would suit our needs.We ran out of time to look at other furniture, but will be only going here from now on.

informative and patient. His product knowledge has been amazing, and he has been completely honest about the pros and cons of any particular item or range. He has spent hours with me, both in store and by email/phone, helping me refine my choices. He even more patiently went through everything again when I brought my mother in to show her what I was looking at. With a new Joolz pram hitting the market just before my due date, he has bent over backwards to get me information from the suppliers and ensure I was fully informed and able to make my choices. He was friendly and available as were all the staff. The prices were very competitive and the sale items amazing. We spent over an hour in the store and felt special when we left. with the company direct was quite difficult so the Baby Gallery took over and before you knew it they supplied me with a loan pram whilst mine was sent away to be fixed.

A new pram a couple of weeks later was returned thanks to the continuous commitment the Baby Gallery took in dealing with Joolz direct on my behalf.

Worst possible customer service – Went to baby gallery to purchase pram, baby chair and furniture. Staff have no product knowledge, rude and arrogant. Pricing of items in store fluctuates weekly by the time you can make a choice a week later there has been a mysterious price increase... Don't bother, couldn't think of a worse store. The store manager [name removed] has no clue what's going on...

was in line waiting. One staff member did not care and was totally rude, the other said sorry and said she would get someone to serve me. Waited ages with no service. Finally I had enough and walked out. Totally pathetic!!!

great range and helpful service – We have purchased several key items for our baby from The Baby Gallery in Clayton. The store holds a great range of items from several brands inc. Leander, Boon, Bombol and Weegoamigo. Mary and the team have provided great customer service, ensuring that we were happy with our purchases which is important when faced with all the options out there for your baby.

Terrible refund policy – I brought a booster high chair seat and when opened it at home it had clearly been opened before and the instructions were missing . Took it back and they tried to refuse a refund as they said they don't "do refunds" and tried to convince me it hadn't been opened when the seal was clearly broken. Don't come here unless you want to buy unsafe 2nd hand items.

Rubbish service – Went in here and wasn't even acknowledged by the staff very rude and snobby relax you work in baby store.

The installer was very quick to point out and sow seeds of doubt on my purchase decision and that another brand was safer and that I should change the carseat and only he is the only person who can get the seat installed safely.

Amazing Service and Products – This store is amazing and the store owner, Mary is so compassionate and wonderful. I purchased over $2000 from Baby Train while I was pregnant. as the doctor said, however thought she would get better. After that we have had issue after issue and my baby has not improved much and is developmentally delayed. She can't sit or hold her head up amongst other issues. My husband passed by Baby Train to purchase something else and told Baby Train about her medical issues and that we required a rear facing car seat as she cannot sit in the forward facing car seat that we had purchased. He was advised that they would exchange the car seat for a rear facing car seat. So I travelled to Baby Train with the car seat that we had, over 30 kms from my house where I was told that they wouldn't exchange the seat as it was over 30 days since I had purchased it which is their policy. All they said was that they were sorry and that they would advise all their staff of their policy since we had been told otherwise. I left extremely upset considering how hard everything has been with my baby girl and to have travelled all the way to Moorabbin, when I don't have the time or the energy for useless trips. And I was stuck with a car seat I couldn't use. One of my girlfriends called to speak to the owner of Baby train within an hour and he wouldn't even take her phonecall. We couldn't believe that he didn't have the courtesy to take a phonecall. This same girlfriend had purchased her baby furniture and products from Baby Gallery in Clayton and she asked the owner if she would exchange the car seat. And she said yes. I exchanged the car seat and now have a great rear facing car seat. They was amazing and so compassionate. I couldn't believe that she exchanged it despite the fact I had purchased nothing from her store and that she would make no money on the car seat that I exchanged. What an amazing woman and business. different to the usual designs you get elsewhere. Secondly, we were served by a very friendly sales woman who took us through the different varieties and showed us how to use each pram - we are quite indecisive so the lady ended up spending a good 40mjns with us before we decided.

We were specifically interested in the joolz pram, but were almost 'down-sold' to one of the cheaper icandys by the sales woman. I think that shows that the sales woman was more interested in helping us find the best pram for us, rather than just trying to sell us the most expensive item. We had found the same pram online at a place in Richmond which ended up being close to $400 cheaper, and the sales woman was able to match the price, which i was very happy with. We also ended up purchasing one of the cots from here too, mainly because the customer service was so good. Excellent service, excellent range of items that are not the run-of-the-mill products (and seem high quality), may price match
