accuse you of being hard to get in touch with - even when you send them the call logs showing the opposite.

The boxes come with other people's stickers and tape, and are bent out of shape with clear lines of use, but the company will accuse you of being the first to bend them out of shape. The boxes themselves are fine and easy to put together, but the company itself is so hard to deal with I would go anywhere else next time.

I organised box pickup multiple times and they failed to collect both times after I waited around all day without so much as a text to say they weren't coming. Then after flaking the second time, they billed me for an extra three months of hire - they charged $300 before they emailed or called to notify me, and I had to threaten VCAT and seek consumer affairs advice before I was able to finally organise them to pick up their property and return the money refunded. This is for property I desperately wanted to return. I had to hold onto the boxes for so long I moved them from place to place! Completely dishonest and shady behaviour.

I was so disappointed because the box quality is fine and it's a great business model, but I will never use this company again.

Very poor service – I placed an order online on Wednesday morning, asking for delivery on Friday. Their website says they do same day delivery if ordered before 10am. message said their mailbox was full so I could not leave a message. I called again on Friday morning, again no answer but at least I was able to leave a message. I got a call back an hour later. The caller said they could deliver the following Wednesday. I said that is too late and pointed out the web site says they do same day delivery and I placed the order on Wednesday. He said he would speak to his manager and call me back. An hour and a half later I got a call back, offering delivery on Monday. I said that is too slow and cancelled the order. In the meantime I called another company who answered their phone first time, offered delivery next morning. I am very puzzled by all the good reviews for this company.

Great! – They delivered on time and the boxes were fine. Was great not having to worry about boxes collapsing. The boxes were easy to but together and came in a nice variety of sizes. Would get again.

Unbelievably bad service, prices are easily matched by purchase (not even hire) elsewhere – No one picked up the phone in all my attempts to call them. because when you cross their stated limit the delivery fee does not go away. They were happy to waive that when they returned my phone call - the one of more than a dozen times that I tried to get in touch by phone. But then they never returned my call when I was ready to make a booking. Deeply frustrating experience. The biggest shocker is that I found a different company to purchase (not hire) from that was STILL CHEAPER. As for the 5 star rating - probably doctored by them in my opinion.

Super quick service – We ordered our packing boxes in 3 sizes on Sunday afternoon and they arrived early Monday afternoon - great service. We will certainly use The Moving Box Company again. Off to pack now (if only that was going to be so easy) Thank you.

Excellent Customer Service And Products – They really went out of their way to complete the transaction (after hours, my fault) and delivered the boxes to my house the next day. The boxes itself were excellent! Labels were provided, boxes were designed for ease of assembly, handling and disassembly - just perfect. The best is that we don't need to dispose of boxes and they pick it up from the pick up address. Highly recommended.

Perfect – Boxes were delivered in perfect condition, loved it that we didn't have to worry about boxes breaking like cardboard boxes. Different types of boxes, for glass bottles, glasses and cups, porta-robes etc made it so much easier. Our request for drop-off and collection outside usual work hours were politely accommodated, great professional and friendly people. Strongly recommended!

The BEST service & company I have dealt with in a long time! – The Box Rental Company made my house move so much easier; usually it's a nightmare. Amazing! Completely amazing! – This is a fantastic product, and so much better than buying cardboard boxes that need to be taped together and then fall apart at the slightest bit of water. The fact that they deliver and pick up the boxes was a major factor in my decision, and the process couldn't have been any easier. Much cheaper and more efficient than buying cardboard boxes. They come in a variety of convenient sizes, from sturdy for books and documents, to big full clothes hangers, and everything in between. Not to mention the special multilayered boxes, specifically designed for safely move fragile glasses and precious bottles.

No paper or bubble-wrapping required, fast and secure.

I had a total of 118 boxes of all sizes (80 of which of books) and was doing the whole job “solo”.

Cardboard boxes, tapes to assembly tops and bottoms, individual items wrappings, both for packing and unpacking, would have turned into a real nightmare!

The Box Rental Company delivered the magic boxes and picked them up at the end. A dream come true!

They have been a pleasure to work with, from start to finish.

Great product and lovely customer service – The boxes made packing and unpacking so easy. Sturdy, easy to assemble and secure (no messy sticky tap). I especially loved the boxes with the glass dividers, my fragile long stemmed wine glasses where in perfect condition and I used no bubble wrap. And the portable wardrobes where brilliant....clothes left on hangers, transferred straight into the new wardrobe. If/when we ever need to move again I will definitely be back to hire.  Show reply

Your best friends when moving house! – [name removed] and his team at Box Rental were a blessing to our move. Delivery and collection of boxes meant I didn't have to run around arranging anything and we don't have piles of boxes in storage.
