Purchased dash mat for Land Cruiser 300 early this year. Mat arrived and didn’t fit. Emails,photos to and from the company over months and no rectification of the issues. The issues are: No cut out for heads up display and didn’t fit the shape of the dash. Went through fair trading with no success. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Wrong product sent. 2014 Toyota Crown dashmat ordered and got something completely different. Didnt match up with any vents or curves of the dash. When sent photos of how bad / poorly it fit they stated "The dash mat is not faulty or broken so we cannot process your request at this time" my request was to resend the correct mat or refund my money.… Read more
I have messaged multiple times with the same or no reply. On Facebook I commented on the product stating the wrong item was sent and the reply on Facebook was " there has been a huge influx in orders and your will be send out soon"......This was not the case and they continue to argue and refuse to refund or resend the correct mat. I am extremely disappointed with the company and now my emails are returning as "undeliverable". SCAM or at the least very very poor business!!!!

Shipped something that didn't even come close to fitting. Claimed I received my order 4 months before I did and refused to return or replace them. I provided all the bank and shipping info alomng with pics. Now they are ghosting me. Total scam, should not be allowed to sell on any 3rd party website.

they agreed to send a replacement. After a week of silence, I asked the what the progress was and they replied that what I received was correct and I had no claim. I eventually escalated the dispute with PayPal who have just informed me they have taken the sellers side so it's $130 down the drain. Beware....

what I paid for of course. They then send through a hilarious DIY video of some dude in a warehouse with a fork operating in the background who proceeded to mutilate a black rectangle, with a pair of scissors (there goes the no tools needed), into what I can only describe as the most abysmal excuse for a dash-mat I've ever seen. With an explanation that was only more infuriating. I then told them I wanted a refund & that's when the communication stopped.
I've made a complaint to the ACCC & Shopify who was facilitating the payment. The ACCC I'll be waiting with baited breath but not holding high hopes. Shopify basically wont support the customers at all & you need to take it up with the vendor. Who, when you dig is 'Neo in the Matrix UN Limited' in Hong Kong. The host has few other websites of the same layout & when you end up back here or on other similar sites checking the other brands its the same story. No return address not direct contact options.
I've also started proceedings with my bank but there's almost too many hoops to jump through for the $ value but when I read how many people have been scammed I feel we need to try to get this to stop. Or at least get the word out there.

I reviewed this same company on 3rd March so this is an update. Now 4th April 2025. Still no supply of dash mat ordered on 27th November 2024, Many emails to and fro with nothing but excuses that they are looking into the problem and refuse to issue a credit of $129.99 paid in good faith.
Watch out for this company nothing but a fraud.

I ordered a dash mat for my 2024 Hilux. The mat doesn't allow for a cutout for the standard fitted JBL speakers that sit 1 inch above the dash. I have been requesting a refund from the company for the past two months since the product arrived. The company seems to believe that letting the mat sit over the raised speakers is satisfactory.
Don't buy from this company!! I was supplied a piece of material and not a tailored dashmat for $130 AUD! . Not at all as described..not interested in Refunding after several attempts. They should be closed down.

Do not purchase anything from Car Defend! Thank goodness for PayPal giving me a full refund. They kept on telling me the order was on the way, and even provided a link to track it (nothing was registered to that link) stay far far away! Wish I had seen this page before I order a gift for my dad for Christmas!

Purchased car mats. The seller has been contacted multiple times via email. Each time I’ve been told that the item has shipped and a tracking number will be provided. No tracking number has been provided and the item is still showing as not dispatched after two months. I have asked for a refund with no response. Have now escalated to PayPal. A Blatant Rip Off. I ordered what I thought would be a Custom Made, Stitched and Embossed Dashmat and received a rectangular roll of rubber. This advertiser cannot be trusted because they are misrepresenting their products and I will be reporting them to ACCC. As I should have complained to PayPal inside 30 days of delivery, so PayPal torejected my claim on those grounds CAR DEFEND are bunch of crooks, how many people have they ripped off using their unscrupulous claim delaying tactics.
