matter how much I searched and typed in the question. I couldn't do anything at all to swap my card! The TCN website is a joke an absolute scam! In the end I used my bankcard on SHEIN and will use the gift card for food shopping. What an absolute let down when you can't use the gift card to buy the things you want and then to realise that not one of the stores written on the card are accessible via online. I'll be telling my family and friends not to buy this nonsense card ever again! TCN The Card Network are morons!!! Oh yeah and you can't contact them direct either, have to fill in a contact page that takes days for them to get back to you. No help whatsoever any way you look at it! Redeemed my gift card on the Thursday, website states will be emailed within 24hrs. Waited the 24 hrs, and more, followed up with customer support, radio silence. the weekend whilst they failed to respond to my follow up. Refuse to re-allocate my gift card to a store I will be able to use at. Apparently the fact that their system (I still received plenty of other emails over the weekend with no issue) was not working, it is my problem and I’m sat with a gift card I cannot use. Terrible customer service.

I will never buy one again. Disgusting that you pay $30 but can only redeem it for $25 at most places. A thoughtful gift turned into something useless and stressful.

When I tried to check the expiry online the card appeared blocked. When I contacted support, they refused to help unless I provided the original receipt—something most recipients of gift cards don’t have, especially if received as a present. Their policy essentially means if anything goes wrong, you’re on your own.

There is no way to verify or use a faulty card, and unless you still have access to the original purchaser and their receipt (possibly years later), you’re out of luck. The company hides behind this policy to avoid responsibility for faulty or unusable cards.

This business model shifts all risk onto the consumer (or receiver of what is supposed to be a happy birthday gift no less) while taking your money up front, for nothing in return. The purchaser loses money, there is no support. I will never purchase or accept a TCN gift card again. I’ll also be warning family, friends, and colleagues to do the same.

Spend your money elsewhere or just give cash… as a recipient, who likes being forced to use a card at a limited number of stores anyway!?

I bought two preloaded Mastercards from The Card Network for my friends’ birthdays. The process was easy and the cards themselves were great – no issues using them. The only letdown was the delivery. They were supposed to be sent out at midnight on 1 June, but didn’t arrive until 4 June, which kind of ruined the birthday surprise. I have been chasing customer support for months. My child got given three of these usless cards for gifts. Their website says please contact them as all three cards won't active. Still nothing. I have tried changing them to JbHifi to try and use it. Again it failed. PEOPLE please just give cash again for gifts. Nothing would be better than these cards.

it wont work what if im at the restuarant and it declined, not good at all, and should work everywhere almost $8 to pay on top of the gift card and it declines, do better tcn.

Nowadays I apprehensively cringe whenever someone gives me a HIM card. Do not use TCN. I've tried twice to send two presents to people for $150 each. Although the trasnactions go through, the gift e-cards are never received by the recipients even though a receipt is emailed to me for $310. Next day, the credit card transactions is reversed.... I then call the helpdesk, a message is played that if no one answers wihin 15 minutes to email them, which I did, and got no response. Don't waste your time!

Have a restaurant gift card from the card network. It states accepted where eftpos or visa is accepted at restaurants. Went to dinner at pepper berry at the Hilton in darwin. - card wouldn’t work. I had a card that I misplaced (along with many others) that I found after the expiry date, and these guys will not honour the gift card. For me that is incredibly poor customer service. I will never buy another gift card from them again, and will warn everyone from ever purchasing one of these. It was only $50, but it’s the principle of it. Do not buy their cards.

i have him gift cards and her gift cards they are so restricted, don't work online. so much messing around to register them. in December 025 i tried to use one of the her cards in the pandora shop cranbourne but did not work.

the worst kind of business(dodgy) you would want to buy a gift card from, and we’ll explain why, unequivocally: 2/ Before we bought, they told us ***‘Our TCN Restaurant Card can be used at any restaurant in Australia that accepts EFTPOS payment’***. 3/ As it turns out, a lot of the restaurants we tried to use them would not accept it. 4/ We went back to them to get a refund for their false claim, they refused. 5/ We went to NSW Fair Trading - Reference Number 11485141 and they agreed to refund. 6/ So, here are some questions: 7/ Why does a business intentionally make a claim they know is false? Surely a business knows what they sell. 8/ Why would a business refuse a refund when presented with evidence of their false claim? A business should know better, but not TCN. 9/ We really hope they don’t even bother responding to this to make it look like it’s a dodgy review, because if they do, it’ll be reported to NSW Fair Trading again, for making a false claim, again. 10/ Our advise to everyone who has been scammed, lodge it with https://www.cas.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/icmspublicweb/forms/GeneralForm.html , not only will you get your scammed monies back, the more people lodge, the more report is added to the Fair Trading database for this business.

We received a Party Gift Card. The packaging and the website stated that the card can be used at Rebel Sports. We tried the card at Rebel Sports Myaree but it didn't work. The store manager explained that Rebel Sports accepts some card from 'The Card Network' but not the 'Party' brand.
