5 Dr. Mark Erian  · I found the Cheesecake branch at Cannon Hill a very professional place with Excellent services and the staff are "cut above"
1 racheljiang311  · Poor hygiene, poor service, and I felt sick after eating the cake. It seemed like the cake was bad even before the best before.
5 Sahil R.  · Excellent customer service. This young lady Shylah was very helpful and patient with my granny. Definitely recommend this place.
2 Elodie R.  · The Wynnum store staff is terrible! Not friendly, not organized, they have no idea what they're doing, how to find your order etc.
5 Gil  · Delicious cake, very clean , great service at Baulkham Hills Thank you

I asked the customer service representative if I can have a FRESH cake. I was advised that all the cakes in the showcase are the FRESHEST. I purchased a cake from the showcase only to find that the best before date was different to what would normally come out of the cool room area. Can someone explain how a cake with best before date 4 days after… Read more

the purchase date can be FRESHER than a cake coming out of the cool room. I say this because I have purchased the same cake with at least 7 days life (best before) In reality I should have been given a cake that has a best before cake of at least 7 full days not 3 days - If I wanted a cake which was not as fresh - then I would have asked for a cake regardless of the (best before) period. When customers shop in supermarkets - I am quite sure shoppers are mindful of the "best before" dates. You wont buy a 2 litre carton of milk with a best before date after one day of purchase.

Choc mudcake with the white rose truffle cake that I ordered for my daughter’s 21st yesterday. Looked lovely ,But!!!!! to cut the cake was near impossible. It was like trying to cut through a brick, the white truffle was like rock even after leaving out of fridge for 20 plus minutes. The white crumbled and fell apart as you tried to cut through… Read more

the cake. It was embarrassing as we were at a restaurant and we had 30 family and friends attend. After cutting about quarter of the cake we gave up as hands were red and sore trying to cut this as well the pieces look like a mess . Not very appealing to give to our guests. Luckily we also ordered the strawberry cheesecake which was fine for the ones that like cheesecake. I’m so disappointed, I ordered this same mudcake 7 yrs ago for my triplets 21st and there were no issues. I have rang the store and they said the white truffle has changed ingredients and it does set hard . They said head office has been informed about this issue. This cake is impossible to cut , and it should state that on the menu if that is the case. Complete waste of money . No refund was offered , but they did say bring the cake back in and they will look at it. I think I will do that , I just had my first piece now, the choc mudcake is not very thick at all but the white truffle is extremely thick which makes the cake very sickly to eat. So I will be taking the cake back into Redbank Plains Store QLD very soon. They can demonstrate to me how to cut the cake in nice pieces with ease. They will see for themselves it’s near impossible, and see how it crumbles apart if you want to cut smaller portions.

Disappointed happy birthday chocolate disc with merry Christmas on it – Purchased a marble cheesecake which was delightful. But also purchased a Happy birthday chocolate disc, but on the back of it says merry Christmas and it has stained the cheesecake..it's disappointing and my family will not eat the stain section as well as the chocolate disc as all feel that it could be off as Christmas was 1 month ago and it… Read more

STOP With the NUTMEG already! I used to LOVE the cheesecake shop cakes . The pavlova, the Mississippi baked cheesecake amongst my favs. Now everything tastes like nutmeg or cinnamon. Who decided to add this strong spice to every friken cake . It’s horrible! Such a shame you’ve ruined a good product . Go back to the old recipe from years ago . Cause the cakes now are NOT good and they all taste the same . Show details

The Cheesecake Shop used to be our go to for good quality cakes for every occasion, but we won’t be returning. Gone are the large fresh chocolate coated strawberries, the smooth chocolate ganache, the real cream now replaced with mock cream over the top, sides and centre that’s extremely fatty so no one wants to eat it as it tastes like Lard and… Read more

leaves an oily film in your mouth. The once beautiful toppings are now replaced with rubbish like two giant lollipops shoved into the cake - which obviously can’t be shared with guests and look incredibly cheap wrapped in their plastic.

We purchased as we were short on time, but won’t be going back. $50 is a rip-off for a cake made with the cheapest of ingredients that no one wants to eat.

I had pre-ordered a cake and attended the store to collect it at approximately 11.30am, prior to going directly to a birthday celebration where I was responsible for providing the cake. Upon collection, I was shocked by the condition of the box the cake was presented in. The box was dirty and unsuitable for presentation, to the extent that I felt… Read more

it would be embarrassing to arrive at a birthday party with it in that condition. I raised this with staff and requested a clean box. Unfortunately, the replacement box provided was in a similarly poor state. I took photographs at the time to document this. While waiting, I looked around the store and was extremely disturbed by the overall cleanliness. The premises were visibly filthy. The floors were dirty and clearly had not been mopped recently, which is unacceptable for a food retail environment, particularly during trading hours. I was further alarmed when I viewed the refrigerated display of individual cake servings. The cakes appeared old, unappealing, and poorly presented. It was genuinely embarrassing to see food of this standard being offered for sale. Although the cake I purchased was presentable enough to serve and tasted acceptable, I was very concerned about its freshness given the state of the store. As a result of this experience, I will not return to this location in the future.

Bought a strawberry fields torte for my grandsons birthday. We have bought this cake often in the past and it was always delicious. This time the cake was dry and maybe 1ml of filling on each layer. It was unpleasant to eat and disappointing for everyone that tried it. I wrote privately to the Christies Beach cheesecake shop and they never… Read more

bothered to reply to me about it so I decided since it's been 3 months to write this review. This shop used to be really good but is not now. I'm not sure if it has changed owners but if so, we paid a good price to you for the cake and don't like being ripped off. If you continue to sell stale poorly filled cakes you won't be in business for long. We won't be back and if you're considering buying a cake from them you'll probably be disappointed.

I am a regular customer at Mitcham store and have been participating in loyalty program, which offers a free 10th cake after collecting 9 stamps on the provided card. Recently, after purchasing 9 cakes and collecting the required stamps, I visited the store to redeem my 10th free cake. I selected the Double Choc Mudcake priced at $42.95. However,… Read more

I was informed that the maximum value covered by the promotion is $29.95 and was asked to pay $29.95 for the cake. I was under the impression that I would receive the cake for free, or at the very least, pay only the $13 difference, as indicated in the "fine print" on the card. While I understand that the card mentions a maximum value of $29.95 in fine print, I found this condition unclear and not prominently communicated when the card was issued. The front of the card simply states: “Collect 9 stamps on purchase & receive your 10th cake free,” which strongly implies a full free cake without any mention of price limitations. I feel this experience was misleading and unfair, especially considering the lack of transparency. As a loyal customer, I’ve attached a copy of the receipt and the loyalty card for reference.

Dissapointed the cake we received did not look like the picture of the cake on line also shop assistant was not helpful in resolving the issue would not exchange or refund . They did not seem interested in decorating it correctly what a poor effort at first they gave the cake with no mini chocoate toppings then such a large gap between lolly pop and creme blobs a coles cake would have been better . OXENFORD QLD. Rainbow cake was disgusting. 50% cream. Nothing like their poster. A refund was refused by new owners. I ordered a Tropical Torte for my birthday and it was disappointing to say the least. The passionfruit and vanilla flavours were bland and the sponge a bit dry, not worth the $42.95 I paid for it. I also ordered a box of red velvet cheesecake lamingtons at 5 for $9.95. The photo is misleading and shows large lamingtons but these ones were only… Read more

bite size, one being just 40g. I would have preferred to pay more and got bigger lamingtons. Anyway I wasn't impressed by the flavour. Don't be deceived by photographs. I am not naive but I got fooled by a photo. Would not recommend this shop.at Fairy Meadow. Was kicking myself for not trying Zweefers Cakes just down the road and cheaper. They even serve coffee there. A big let down but I found out the hard way.

none. And the cakes...WOW!! Absolutely delicious!! The presentation of the cakes have been better than in the pictures. The celebration mudcake I got for my granddaughter's birthday was immaculate in presentation. It looked so good, it was a shame to cut it, and it tasted delicious. (I'm writing this while I'm eating my latest choice, a wildberry cheesecake, that's just melting in my mouth). And don't get me started on the Belgium mudcake, it was perfection!! I have read several negative reviews on here from people who haven't had good experiences at other shops, all I can say is head on over to the Cheesecake Shop at Wellington Village, the ladies there are true artisans at their craft, you won't be disappointed

The cake shop and its products and service are fine. What sticks out as a sore thumb is the $5 charge for writing a message on the cake. No other cake shop does that. I will only go to a Cheesecake shop outlet if there is nothing available at all. Strongly suggest they waive this off and see the crowds swinging in. Show details

My son purchased a Mississippi Cheesecake today, haven't eaten it yet so not sure if it tastes the same. We have been living abroad so 3 years ago this cheesecake had swirls of chocolate mousse on top which made it what is was. But the one he brought home just had cheap mock cream and charged us $47.00 not only that the height of the cake is nearly half of what it used to be. NO MORE CHEESECAKE SHOP FOR US ANYMORE. The moto for the Cheesecake Shop is We Bake, We Decorate, You Celebrate….. Unfortunately this was the opposite of the experience my family had with the Cheesecake Shop Burleigh Heads!! Heads. This shop took my order, my money and also sent a confirmation email with pickup details. When I went to collect his cake, the shop was closed! We had 20 guests arriving an hour after with no cake!!! At this time of year, this was devastating for my young son, our family and our guests!! Before ordering, the Burleigh Cheesecake Shop clearly advertised that they were open 10–4. That was a complete lie. No notice. No warning. No responsibility. Just closed doors and a ruined birthday. Congratulations, Cheesecake Shop Burleigh — you managed to completely destroy a child’s birthday celebration through sheer carelessness. This is disgraceful. It’s unprofessional, dishonest, and embarrassing for a business that claims to be reputable. I would never trust this store again and strongly recommend everyone avoids it entirely. Save yourself the stress and go to the Robina store who have consistently delivered a high standard of service. Do better, this is an absolute appalling thing to do to a child on his birthday.
