The Lady Shake - GO! Espresso

It is vomitously oversweetened, has a soapy aftertaste and doesn't taste anything like coffee. I've tried the chocolate and choc-mint shakes as well and find them far too sweet also. On the plus side, this one made me feel so sick within minutes of drinking it that I didn't really feel like eating anything for the rest of the day.

Not bad – I've made it up with water and ice and blitzed it to make a frappe. It is sweeter than I would make it up myself, but still pleasant. Haven't tried it as a room temperature shake, so can't comment on texture consuming that way. Show reply

Luxe latte shake! – I love, love, love this shake. I blend up with 400ml fridge cold water in Breville Boss To Go. Consistency is like an ice coffee that has a little ice cream in it but obviously doesn’t. It has a smooth mouth feel and a great coffee flavour. got rid of the afternoon slump. I also had the choc hazelnut bar and this was so much better than I was expecting as so many bars out there are nuts, nuts, nuts nooooo! This one was like the space food sticks of the 80’s only better!! Great taste, my older sensitive teeth appreciated the texture and it was really yummy!! I wouldn’t have purchased these but since they were part of the pack I thought I may as well try. I will be buying more of these. Weight loss wise, well I have just started today. I did try The Lady Shake about 3 years ago and sadly life got in the way and product expired and I gave up for lots of reasons, but now, well and truly in my 50s with metabolism speed at an all time slow and a mid section thats thicker than a snickers I’m ready to try again and today was a really positive start. From the shakes in the past I loved banana, caramel, vanilla and chocolate with added banana fruit and I liked strawberry with a few berries added. Taste and texture is subjective with all foods, you won’t know until you try!

Easy and effective – These shakes work. Eventually you get used to the taste but I am down 10 kilos and feel a million dollars. Show details ·  1

Not my favourite shake – To make this more palatable I have to add frozen banana and use Boss black iced coffee for some of the water,so as a result,will not lose weight like I need to. Show details

Unpleasant, would not reccomend – Was super excited to try this. Ive had other shakes in coffee flavour and loved them! This one is unpleasant. Its thick gluggy and the flavour made me do a face similiar to giving a baby a lemon. I tried adding more water to water it down and still unpleasant. unpleasant taste in your mouth. I guess if youre trying to put yourself off eating it might work? Will not be trying any other flavours and most definately do not reccomend it.

Real coffee + real flavour = Great Taste! – Absolutely love this flavour and coupled with full cream milk - it is absolutely delicious! Real coffee, real taste. Go espresso – Had this given to me as an added gift with my order of coffee shakes. Sorry way to sweet for me, and I mean really sweet, the little bit of coffee taste I could get through that sweetness was nice. Just needs all that sweetness removed so you can enjoy the coffee taste. It's a big no for me. I'll stick to the original coffee ones far less sweetness. Show details

Disgusting Taste and Hard to Drink – I bought all 3 Go Expresso flavours, 4 boxes altogether on special. All are disgusting and very hard to drink. They all have upset my tummy. never buy this again. Would not recommend this & do not want to try other flavours after this experence. Customer service via website/email not good nor understanding. I agree with the other reviews regarding the overly sweet taste with the stevia aftertaste. Can not taste the coffee, the sweetener is overpowering. Doesn't mix well with the shaker, so I use my blender to mix well.
