Dot your “i’s” and cross your “t’s”
Called them because I had no hot water. I explained my situation the chap on the was friendly enough, he asked all the questions he needed and then said that due to the age of unit 5 years it needed an ‘anoide’ and he was going to see if they had one in stock. Few minutes later, yes we have one it will be $449 to which I agreed because I had no hot water and told him so. So a few hours after they left I called and said I still had no hot water. Next day they came out again and looked at the unit and said they couldn’t fix it as it was a refrigeration problem and they don’t fix that. Had they told me they couldn’t fix the unit I would have got someone else that could fix the unit. Be aware when dealing with them!!!
Very Poor Customer Service
Carried out some drain cleaning works for us and the same incident happened within 10 days.
They were not prepared to come out again unless they could charge for the works. Customer service is obviously not a consideration.
Sounded like a continuous waterfall in bedroom wall, these PPG guys spent 4 1/2 hours couldn't detect it and charged me $785, said they would spend a full day to continue looking for it at a further cost of $1800. Rang a well known plumbing company, detected the leaking pipe in 10 minutes, fixed in under 4 hours and charged much less than PPG. Feeling furious and ripped off
Worst company ever
The plumber got lost coming to my house. He then walked in, told me couldn't fix my issue and then charged me $90 for walking down my driveway. Appalling service
Bad workmanship caused water damage to my kitchen cupboards
The plumber initially didn’t bring the taps to install, even though I ordered them as part of the job. (After being told that workmanship wouldn’t be covered if I supplied taps.) He had to go to the warehouse to collect them, delaying the job.
I had to call them out twice after the initial work to fix the problem because it still wasn’t watertight and leaked into my cupboard after the first fix.
They conceded their error but denied any liability to fix damage due to age of cupboards and possibilities of previous damage. Saying not much water...leaked even after seeing the video evidence that shows constant leaking when water was around the tap. It was undetected for a month because of it being in an unused/barely used space in the cupboard. I was told that They were “happy “ to fix the problem free of charge. As if they were doing me a favour. Yes their error that they’re legally obliged to fix! I hired a professional to do a professional job not expecting the damage and stress caused. I would not recommend them.
Time wasting techniques and Rip off
The job took only 20 mins to resolve however the guy wasted time by doing unwanted cleaning. Sat down for 20 mins to write report and used our toilet for another 20 mins. The company charged for 1.5 hrs and I questioned how could they charge 1.5 hrs for a job which was resolved in 30 mins, only to be advised they work on GPS location which indicates how long their vehicle was in the property.
Tradie's modus operandi is to waste time to show on their system they were at the property for 1.5 hrs so that they can charge customer. It's a total rip off, Will not use them again.
It appears lot of previous reviews have same concern.
Outstanding hot water service replacement
Old Rheem died overnight. Their website made it a snap to compare & choose; Liberty's 8am phone service exceptional; auto texts at every step; brilliant plumber Ross wrapped up at 1pm.
Time wasted and over charged for a small job
Had a pipe checked for a leak, at first glance the guy said he was pretty sure there was no leak, he checked the area for no more than 30 minutes, then he wasted at least 10 mins in the car 'writing up the report' (on his phone more like it) which then clicked the bill over to the second 1/2 hour, doubling the price from $90 to $180. He sat at my dining table uninvited for at leat another 10 mintues talking

Total rip off and False Advertising
This company clearly states on their website that there is no call out fee yet we have been charged $130.50 for their time to come out and quote on the cost of replacement of a hot water system. The invoice states "$90 first half hour minimum charge" and then in 15 minute increments. This does not represent a "no call out fee"as advertised on their website. This is a complete lie and false advertising. The guy that came out spent maybe 10 mins looking at the system and advised it needed to be replaced. I have been charged for his time to ...sit in his car and obtain quotes on providing a new hot water system. Absolutely disgraceful. Needless to say we have taken our business elsewhere and NEVER will I use this business again. I am considering taking this matter to department of fair trading for false advertising. If I could provide a zero star rating I would!
Have used these guys a few times for my rental property when plumbing problems arise. Have had no problems with them. Fast service and price was good. Will use them again.
Total rip off
Didnt have the part needed on board, they reckon i didnt tell them about the problem but i had said the taps not working properly, I didnt know that it was caused by the gas heater, company reckons they cant afford to stock their vans with everything, they charged me for the plumbers time to go and purchase the part, then discovered he needed another tool as he couldnt remove faulty anode (not even 1 yr old) and left again to purchase required tool, again charged for his time to go and purchase tool. I was not told by the repairer that i would ...be charged for this time, if i had I would not have gone ahead. When i queried the account I was told "well we didnt charge you for the tool". My hot water system is still not working as it should but i refuse to have them come back.

Time wasting trades person who didn't know a gas pipe from a crack pipe! Arrogant managers who threatened me with debt collectors. I refused to pay & never heard another thing from them...funny that.
Very professional and efficient.
They did a great job. Tidied up afterwards too. We had a instant hot water system put in and they recommended the unit. After a few days the unit was going cold while we showered. We called them and they arranged to come straight away and took his time to sort it out. Even replaced old washers in shower. Unit works like a charm now. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys.
The ripoff and dodgy guys
The ripoff and dodgy guys. Very slick. "We changed our ABN" therefore voiding any work done by "the other company". Can't help but wonder if the first company went under, change name and abn and viola, dont have to cover anything!
Also couldn't help but notice a bunch of similar 1 star reviews that receive snarky replies instead of apologies or help. Guessing they will have another new ABN by the end of this year. Beware. Awaiting my snarky and righteous reply
Over charged and disorganised
Leak was found and fixed, however, I was disappointed to be charged for the plumber to go and buy basic parts. Organised plumbers should have these on hand. This added an additional $180 to my bill for the plumber to go shopping! I phoned and enquired with a manager about this and was told it would be followed up and I would be contacted. This was 6 days ago. Would not recommend this company. Overpriced and disorganised!
Midland Office staff were very responsive, had a plumber out to investigate a solar hot water system leak the same day and provided regular updates of plumber’s arrival. Plumber was very polite and provided options for system replacement. New solar system installed two days later, hardly knew they were there. Quite was accurate. Very happy with service from beginning to end.
Waste of time and money
My washing machine displayed E20 for several weeks during any circle. The Electrolux manual stated that it was a pump/ filter problem. I called the plummer. He arrived, he cleaned the tubes underneath the laundry sink. But that was not the problem cause the issue was with the washing machine and not with the tubes. Fair enough. He charged me 271 dollars and left. My washing machine was still broken.
I called another plumber, not from the Plumbing and Gas Guys obviously and first of all he checked the filter of the washing machine. Removed it. ...
Awesome and speedy service
Our solar hot water system died due to age and a previous owners diy install leaving us with cold showers.. called the guys at 0900 to book expecting at least a day wait, they were here at 1300 to tell me what I expected to hear... they arranged everything to be delivered the next morning and were here first thing to install it all. Very professional job and will definitely use them in the future.
I have been price gouged
Very dissatisfied. After providing photos and serial number of heater and speaking to coordinator requesting that they bring/providiethe brass blank that needed to be replaced when the technician came to do the job. Nothing was done as previously requested. All previous instructions were ignored. A simple job worth $160.00 at most ended up costing me nearly $400.00 . Will never use this company again.
Great service, start to finish
These guys were great to deal with. From being responsive to my initial query to providing an accurate quote, keeping me informed about when they'd arrive and then professional and friendly service from our plumber Adam. The final cost even ended up being slightly less than the quote. Will certainly use again. Nice to see a company that appreciates the benefits of great customer service. Well done.

You recently (last Tuesday, August 15th) did a like-for-like installation of an electric boosted Solar HWS for my parents at 25A Hartung Street, Mundaring.
As far as I can tell, all went well.
I'm in Melbourne so it'll take a little while for me to get enough feedback to write a review.
Before I do, though, do you have a set of operating instructions that you can share with me?
Something including suggestions for when to have the booster switched on or not.
Anything that can be user-maintained?
