because it was a different leak and so we paid two bills for the same job. The plumber was recorded and time stamped on our home security cameras in the car port when he left and they tried to charged us for that too. When we received the account we advised them that we would not be paying for the time the plumber was not working at our premises and that we can send them a copy of the security camera recording dated and time stamped. The young lad left for more than an hour and we were billed for it, along with the other two hours it took him to fix a small leak. When we contacted the office the receptionist girl was extremely rude, she was advised we had the plumber coming and going on security cameras and we would like the bill adjusted to show the correct charge. We never received a water bill reimbursement form as they refused to send it once we complained and they had to adjust the account. We contacted consumer affairs.

Great service – Called The plumbing and gas guys to replace my hot water unit, and they organised everything for me and even took the old unit away. Really happy with the timing and service of this company 10/10 would reccomend.

Absolutely first class start to finish – This business offers superb customer service every single time. They are all professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They work very hard and can be trusted completely to do the work well. The best !

Outstanding hot water service replacement – Old Rheem died overnight. Their website made it a snap to compare & choose; Liberty's 8am phone service exceptional; auto texts at every step; brilliant plumber Ross wrapped up at 1pm.

Unprofessional and Unreliable – On calling their business phone number 0432 868 604, they accepted a booking for blocked drainage at 3.15pm and never turned up. On follow up the lady informed they had double booked and will arrive after 25 mins. We waited till 4.15pm and on calling the receiver denied it was plumbing and gas number. They can't even be honest about their appointments. Avoid calling them and be ready for surprises if you engage them. Professional time waters

Horrible service – Avoid at all costs. They installed the instant gas system and then said a sparky was coming to install the GPO.. he never arrived, I called and they said he was definitely coming.. he never came. So no hot water for us because this mob didn’t book an electrician then continued to lie about it. They were meant to call back about compensation, but I never heard from them. Take your money to someone else!

Poor work from young tradesman – A recent visit from a young tradesman to fix a flooding downpipe left me with a gap in the downpipe where he used a screwdriver in a joint to unblock the downpipe and a dangerous dip in the paving where he dug it up to access the soakwell. to the standard it was before and many of the pavers are now chipped. The downpipe still leaks when it is filled with water. This was an expensive learning experience for me.

Repair Solar Job – Biggest scammers. I would never used them again. Overpriced and very unprofessional. After the experience I had with them I would hope they go broke one day. Don't go near them.

Next day they came out again and looked at the unit and said they couldn’t fix it as it was a refrigeration problem and they don’t fix that. Had they told me they couldn’t fix the unit I would have got someone else that could fix the unit. Be aware when dealing with them!!!

Very Poor Customer Service – Carried out some drain cleaning works for us and the same incident happened within 10 days. They were not prepared to come out again unless they could charge for the works. Customer service is obviously not a consideration.

Leaking pipe – Sounded like a continuous waterfall in bedroom wall, these PPG guys spent 4 1/2 hours couldn't detect it and charged me $785, said they would spend a full day to continue looking for it at a further cost of $1800. Rang a well known plumbing company, detected the leaking pipe in 10 minutes, fixed in under 4 hours and charged much less than PPG. Feeling furious and ripped off

Worst company ever – The plumber got lost coming to my house. He then walked in, told me couldn't fix my issue and then charged me $90 for walking down my driveway. Appalling service

Bad workmanship caused water damage to my kitchen cupboards – The plumber initially didn’t bring the taps to install, even though I ordered them as part of the job. (After being told that workmanship wouldn’t be covered if I supplied taps.) He had to go to the warehouse to collect them, delaying the job. watertight and leaked into my cupboard after the first fix.

They conceded their error but denied any liability to fix damage due to age of cupboards and possibilities of previous damage. Saying not much water leaked even after seeing the video evidence that shows constant leaking when water was around the tap. It was undetected for a month because of it being in an unused/barely used space in the cupboard.

I was told that They were “happy “ to fix the problem free of charge. As if they were doing me a favour. Yes their error that they’re legally obliged to fix!

I hired a professional to do a professional job not expecting the damage and stress caused.

I would not recommend them.

Time wasted and over charged for a small job – Had a pipe checked for a leak, at first glance the guy said he was pretty sure there was no leak, he checked the area for no more than 30 minutes, then he wasted at least 10 mins in the car 'writing up the report' (on his phone more like it) which then clicked the bill over to the second 1/2 hour, doubling the price from $90 to $180. He sat at my dining table uninvited for at leat another 10 mintues talking Total rip off DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!

Total rip off and False Advertising – This company clearly states on their website that there is no call out fee yet we have been charged $130.50 for their time to come out and quote on the cost of replacement of a hot water system. I have been charged for his time to sit in his car and obtain quotes on providing a new hot water system. Absolutely disgraceful. Needless to say we have taken our business elsewhere and NEVER will I use this business again. I am considering taking this matter to department of fair trading for false advertising. If I could provide a zero star rating I would!

Excellent Service – Have used these guys a few times for my rental property when plumbing problems arise. Have had no problems with them. Fast service and price was good. Will use them again.

Worst company I've ever dealt with!!! – Time wasting trades person who didn't know a gas pipe from a crack pipe! Arrogant managers who threatened me with debt collectors. I refused to pay & never heard another thing from them...funny that.

Very professional and efficient – They did a great job. Tidied up afterwards too. We had a instant hot water system put in and they recommended the unit. After a few days the unit was going cold while we showered. We called them and they arranged to come straight away and took his time to sort it out. Even replaced old washers in shower. Unit works like a charm now. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys.

Over charged and disorganised – Leak was found and fixed, however, I was disappointed to be charged for the plumber to go and buy basic parts. Organised plumbers should have these on hand. This added an additional $180 to my bill for the plumber to go shopping! I phoned and enquired with a manager about this and was told it would be followed up and I would be contacted. Excellent service – Midland Office staff were very responsive, had a plumber out to investigate a solar hot water system leak the same day and provided regular updates of plumber’s arrival. Plumber was very polite and provided options for system replacement. New solar system installed two days later, hardly knew they were there. Quite was accurate. Waste of time and money – My washing machine displayed E20 for several weeks during any circle. The Electrolux manual stated that it was a pump/ filter problem. I called the plummer. dollars and left. My washing machine was still broken. I called another plumber, not from the Plumbing and Gas Guys obviously and first of all he checked the filter of the washing machine. Removed it. Cleaned it and that’s it. He didn’t even take his jacket off. It was a matter of minutes. He didn’t charge me a dollar because he said that it should be the first thing to be checked when dealing with a faulty washing machine. Now, I’ve been naive cause I could have done it myself. But the point is that the Plumber and Gus Guys have been extremely incompetent and unfair.INCOMPETENT most of all. And really unprofessional charging 271 dollars to do nothing and leaving the customer highly disappointed. Beware.

Awesome and speedy service – Our solar hot water system died due to age and a previous owners diy install leaving us with cold showers.. called the guys at 0900 to book expecting at least a day wait, they were here at 1300 to tell me what I expected to hear... they arranged everything to be delivered the next morning and were here first thing to install it all. Very professional job and will definitely use them in the future.
