Great service
Called The plumbing and gas guys to replace my hot water unit, and they organised everything for me and even took the old unit away. Really happy with the timing and service of this company 10/10 would reccomend.
Unprofessional and Unreliable
On calling their business phone number 0432 868 604, they accepted a booking for blocked drainage at 3.15pm and never turned up. On follow up the lady informed they had double booked and will arrive after 25 mins. We waited till 4.15pm and on calling the receiver denied it was plumbing and gas number. They can't even be honest about their appointments. Avoid calling them and be ready for surprises if you engage them.
Professional time waters
Unprofessional time wasters
They arrived on time to quote my work and said they’re keen for the work and will send a quote in a couple of days. I called after a week and the call centre said they would have someone call me back asap. No one called and I did this another four times and also sent emails. Nobody ever called back and I obviously didn’t receive a quote.
The business is completely unprofessional and are not reliable. Don’t quote for work if you don’t want the work or call people back and say you don’t want the work. Don’t waste peoples time
Horrible service
Avoid at all costs. They installed the instant gas system and then said a sparky was coming to install the GPO.. he never arrived, I called and they said he was definitely coming.. he never came. So no hot water for us because this mob didn’t book an electrician then continued to lie about it. They were meant to call back about compensation, but I never heard from them. Take your money to someone else!

Taking advantage of vulnerable people
The worst of the worst after my three tennents found a leak in the stop tap under the sink they contacted me and told me they had organised this lot to do the job
One stopcock tap replaced price $26 a bit of plumbers tape and at the max 2 hours of Labor and travel they came in with an unitemised bill of $840.
The three Tennant's of this house are extremely vulnerable people and felt stood over by the person doing the job
This company should be reported to consumer affairs though I doubt there is an honest plumber in melbourne
Poor work from young tradesman
A recent visit from a young tradesman to fix a flooding downpipe left me with a gap in the downpipe where he used a screwdriver in a joint to unblock the downpipe and a dangerous dip in the paving where he dug it up to access the soakwell. After his second visit the gap in the downpipe has been gummed up and the dip in the paving improved but not to the standard it was before and many of the pavers are now chipped. The downpipe still leaks when it is filled with water. This was an expensive learning experience for me.
Repair Solar Job
Biggest scammers. I would never used them again.
Overpriced and very unprofessional.
After the experience I had with them I would hope they go broke one day.
Don't go near them.
Beware!
We used The Plumbing and Gas Guys to repair a leaking fitting on our solar hot water system. The leak was repaired but at the cost of flooding our house: the manual pressure release lever they used to de-pressure the system was left stuck open, gushing into a semi-enclosed area faster than it could drain and eventually flowed into the living room, bedroom, garage and laundry.
We were extremely lucky to have polished concrete floors so escaped with only minor property damage after a MAJOR cleanup effort.
Our complaint was supposedly passed onto
Absolutely first class start to finish

Dot your “i’s” and cross your “t’s”
Called them because I had no hot water. I explained my situation the chap on the was friendly enough, he asked all the questions he needed and then said that due to the age of unit 5 years it needed an ‘anoide’ and he was going to see if they had one in stock. Few minutes later, yes we have one it will be $449 to which I agreed because I had no hot water and told him so. So a few hours after they left I called and said I still had no hot water. Next day they came out again and looked at the unit and said they couldn’t fix it as it was a refrigeration problem and they don’t fix that. Had they told me they couldn’t fix the unit I would have got someone else that could fix the unit. Be aware when dealing with them!!!
1. Why would I call you if the unit was working properly.
2. How would I know it needed a anode. You said due to age it needed a anode.
Like you said “ we have to agree to disagree”
You called us up asking for a service as part of a general service the anode is replaced this is due every 3-5 years, you need to service your unit to keep the warranty on the unit valid. If you had

Carried out some drain cleaning works for us and the same incident happened within 10 days.
They were not prepared to come out again unless they could charge for the works. Customer service is obviously not a consideration.

Sounded like a continuous waterfall in bedroom wall, these PPG guys spent 4 1/2 hours couldn't detect it and charged me $785, said they would spend a full day to continue looking for it at a further cost of $1800. Rang a well known plumbing company, detected the leaking pipe in 10 minutes, fixed in under 4 hours and charged much less than PPG. Feeling furious and ripped off

Worst company ever
The plumber got lost coming to my house. He then walked in, told me couldn't fix my issue and then charged me $90 for walking down my driveway. Appalling service

I do apologise for the wait with no hot water however we have been extremely busy.

We do understand times are tough at the moment and is why we gave you an upfront honest recommendation of getting a free replacement through the manufacturer instead of us replacing it at full cost. Thank you kindlyBad workmanship caused water damage to my kitchen cupboards
The plumber initially didn’t bring the taps to install, even though I ordered them as part of the job. (After being told that workmanship wouldn’t be covered if I supplied taps.) He had to go to the warehouse to collect them, delaying the job.
I had to call them out twice after the initial work to fix the problem because it still wasn’t watertight and leaked into my cupboard after the first fix.
They conceded their error but denied any liability to fix damage due to age of cupboards and possibilities of previous damage. Saying not much water

Outstanding hot water service replacement
Old Rheem died overnight. Their website made it a snap to compare & choose; Liberty's 8am phone service exceptional; auto texts at every step; brilliant plumber Ross wrapped up at 1pm.

do you sell gas jets for lpg gas and how much
You recently (last Tuesday, August 15th) did a like-for-like installation of an electric boosted Solar HWS for my parents at 25A Hartung Street, Mundaring.
As far as I can tell, all went well.
Thank you.
I'm in Melbourne so it'll take a little while for me to get enough feedback to write a review.
Before I do, though, do you have a set of operating instructions that you can share with me?
Something including suggestions for when to have the booster switched on or not.
Anything that can be user-maintained?
Thanks and regards,
Olly
Hi Olly, I did not install anything. I'm in Mandudrah WA. Wrong person, sorry.
