Sounds consistent with the $300ph stated, sounds like they'll charge in proportion to the extra hours required. But no, you find out when they use your credit card for a second time. Multiple emails got nowhere. Would give a negative number of stars if that was possible.

I've always had photos supplied on building inspections, but they didn't got that far.

Bad Service Practice – Got a Property Purchase Inspection done by these guys, Taking very long time to get the report and turned out the report is very vague. Trying to chase up for a resolution and now they are avoiding emails and calls. Completely waste of money and time. Do NOT Recommend!

I emailed them about the manhole specifically to in future advise clients of this pre-inspection but as anticipated I received no response. I booked them via beforeyoubid. Was a huge waste of $449. Definitely book elsewhere. Better off getting an independent builder who knows their stuff and also a pest company to do an actual pest report. These guys are extremely surface level and the report is just about protecting them without providing you with much useful information.

to the way TPI set the pricing of charging us by number of defects identified, the service fee we were asked to pay is a complete ripoff, we were initially asked to pay them $7,000 for a "defects" report with many are "incomplete/yet to be done" items as we told them that we were aware! Totally disappointed with the Property Inspectors deceptive pricing and dishonest business conduct!

Due to the settlement timetable and we needed a defect report to be part of completion mechanism, while they eventually agreed to provide us a "discounted" fee of $4,500 which is still significantly above market rate, we were extremely unhappy about how they treated us. Its very upsetting and disappointing - do not engage with this unethical company!

Property Inspection – Emilio is a well trained inspector with appropriate industry knowledge. Detailed examination was completed. Emilio was processional with a friendly demeanour. Emilio answered all questions and took notice of information provided by property owner. We will use this service again.

It is great service from Emilio! Punctual and easy! – Emilio was professional, punctual and did a great job in provide his professional service. He was very thorough and went through everything in great details! He is the go to man when it comes to pest and buildint inspection!

Complete waste of time and money – Absolute waste of time and money. Deceptive, unethical, condescending and dishonest are the only words to describe The Property Inspectors. provide drawings as it's 'not part of the job' (but somehow the other three quotes I sourced from other companies all included this and I've been advised it is needed by both builders to do the job and strata to approve it ). They eventually agreed to provide them 'at a discount rate' after I'd employed another company to re-do the job. Have been completely ripped off close to 2k for 'designs' that are completely unusable. Really upsetting and disappointing - do not engage with this dodgy, unethical company!

Oh, and isn't it interesting that all of the '5 star' reviews were placed by people who all joined this site on the same day....

Didn't get report when I paid for it – After submitting payment, I haven't received the report via email or their website (despite it being an 'existing report' which they claim will be available immediately). I'll wait a little longer before contacting my bank to ask them to reverse the transaction I guess? Is this site a scam? Show details

you into agreeing to pay for a report if you are the purchaser. They pre populate drop down boxes that make you acknowledge you cannot legally rely on the report, that it is the vendors property, but you must pay for it. Very unethical and deceptive.

fully professional inspector – The inspector was punctual, 5mns late for which he appologised for. He was professional, curteous, and friendly. He could,nt do enough for us. All in all my wife were very happy with the job.

Don't even bother with these people – Total and utter waste of time and money. We were going through Strata with the council and needed to engage a property inspector to check that the existing dual occupancy building was sound and fire proof. property for about 20 minutes before coming back inside and then sat at my dining table for an another hour and a half looking at plans. NOTHING at all was done and he didn't even go into the lower property to check anything there. This was back in April of 2019 and even though we had to put things on hold for a couple of months, they then came back after we'd contacted them and said we need to pay and extra $3000 for a full report.

A very bad experience all round – Worst experience I have had. Used this company through this HI Pages App-they were very quick to respond and efficient at first until they had my first payment for structural engineer report. underneath the house that was to be renovated, and report was done off the original plan. Complete and utter waste of money, as we had to engage another structural engineer at further cost to have this job completed properly. Advice - stay away from this company at all costs. Company Director [Name Removed] is also operating this business with a cancelled Builders License. The very next day after posting this review on another forum, I was contacted by [Name Removed] from the Property Inspectors wanting to "make good the experience" and was offered $511 refund to remove the negative review. I was informed that this was the profit margin for the job we paid for. The actual fees we paid were $4600. Employing the Property Inspectors ended up by costing us both time and money. I would rather warn other potential victims by leaving this review. A very bad experience all round.

Excellent Service – I just wanted to thank The Property Inspectors for conducting the building inspection and compiling the report on my property on 30/11/2016. The real estate agent commented afterward that it was a very thorough inspection – as was evident in the report provided to me.
