The shed company came to our house in nerang to install a huge steel roof over our entertainment area as well as a long skinny shed at the back. The space was tight at the back but their crew managed to build it in no time ensure all drains were working efficiently. The outdoor area just looked like a million dollar afterwards. conflicting updates from owner and staff. Then the issue with the second roller door that was installed, blowing out with frightening speed and noise, damaging our daughter’s car quoted $3,500 to repair. I made Kilmore Shed Co. aware that I paid for an independent inspection of the door which found multiple faults with the installation. Another 6 week wait for the third roller door which was installed just days before Christmas. Because of the continued frustration and frightening event of the roller door blowout, I can’t alter my rating as requested by the owner. It’s fortunate that my car wasn’t parked next to my daughter’s and that nobody was next to the door when it let go. Debra B

their time carefully erecting the shed and taping all the insulation. To all reading please do your research as this is a company that can do it all for you. Some other shed company’s will leave you hanging and on your own but not mark. All plans/engineering/permits to fully built end product. We had it engineered to hold a lot of solar panels. Slab thickness was more than what we ordered and really appreciate it. I wish I had listened to mark and gone a little higher but still good enough until I build another one day. Thanks again guys.

probably would never have heard back from them. While I understand the reasoning, I pointed out that all they had to do was tell me up-front that they were either unwilling or unable to complete my request & I would have moved on. I'm upping my rating to 3 stars because the owner took the time to contact me & try to explain why their response was so poor - however I can't comment on any other aspect of doing business with them because I haven't.

I contacted The Shed Company Gladstone on August 5th & spoke to them about the possibility of building a 6 x 8m double garage on my property at Tannum Sands. We went through some details & I was told a quote would be provided, however it might take a week or so because the person who does quotes was very busy. I was fine with that & waited for my quote to arrive. On August 8th I received an email assuring me that they had my query & would be in contact soon. I received another email on 11 August saying they were "hoping" to be in contact soon & that they were experiencing a high level of queries & their return contact is longer than usual.
I waited until August 18th & when I hadn't heard anything more from them I contacted another local Gladstone shed builder & asked them for a quote. They had a price back to me within a couple of days & then worked with me while we refined the design & worked out all the details. Once we had all that sorted, I accepted their quote & the project is now under way.
The Shed Company Gladstone missed out on a $40k shed build simply because they never bothered to follow up with me. Perhaps they thought I wasn't a serious buyer, or perhaps they think it's up to prospective customers to chase them when they fail to do what they said they would.

and patience, the sun did come out again and the Shed Company's install team, Total Shed Works, got straight into it. They laid the concrete slab just prior to Christmas 2022. It's a sizeable slab of approx 400 square metres with a couple of set downs and a some internal fall for a small bathroom. The job was awesome. The Christmas holiday period gave the slab some curing time so that worked well too. Towards the end of January the guys were back out and into once again. It was about a 3 week build. The guys were easy to get along with and nothing was a problem when it came to changing window and PA door locations from those on the plan. The end result, while something like 9 months (weather) delayed is a wonderful structure.

WORST Experience by MT at Central Coast – Dealings was with MT which is the franchisee at the Central Coast location. Interaction was encountered with dishonesty & bully style tactics. there has been suspicious things happening on the construction site property since the dispute began with MT. Eg: malicious damage. BEWARE Did not advise that the delivery was coming and then dumped us – A Metrol delivery arrived at our home at 7am without notice. We could not accept the delivery. The Shed Company then pulled their building contractors off the job, despite that full payment had been made. deposit was paid and separates the shed supply from the slab and construction - We paid $800 to the Shed Company to help with the certifying. The Shed Company sent multiple emails asking one question and then another, and then another. Why did they not request all the information at one time? Why did they blame the certifier for the excessive requests for information? - The Shed Company wanted is to store the components from May 23 despite advice that their associated contractor had scheduled the build in Aug 23. - We could not store the components for 3 months, unsecured - We could not move the components to a place of safety as we are disabled pensioners - In writing, the Shed Company promised storage at differing amounts - The Shed Company did not contact us to advise the components were being delivered. This is against their website promise. - Metrol did not contact us to advise of the delivery
Further customer service gems: - In email, the Shed Company called us rude, demanded payment and threatened if we did not comply, that they would pull their contractors - Despite us meeting the 'ransom' terms and them receiving the full sum. The Shed Company's building contractor advised they would not do build our shed as agreed.
- The Shed Company could NOT simply align raising their order to meet the build schedule. This happens in 95% of their jobs according to The Shed Company's email.
The Shed Company have structured their supply and construction business by a series of separate companies. Yet in writing, assert their control over their contractors.
We were bullied into finally accepting delivery and left to find our own builder.
The Shed Company then invoiced $1100.00 for our refusal of the first delivery that they did not advise of.
Check out the testimonials too - there is one by [Name Removed] who coincidently has the same name as The Shed Company employee who was involved in our fiasco.
One regret, I told [Name Removed] she had done a good job when she sold the shed to me. But in saying that, I guess she totally pulled the wool over my eyes and lied to me.
How rude it is if a customer asks for what was promised.
Strongly recommend GO ELSEWHERE.

Donot use this company they cannot be worse than this so why pay more for less, seriously thus is worst built shed i have ever seen. They also took 3 deliveries and left access a messbecause they came in a large semi with other deliveries on trailer, rollr doors were sitting so ling the seal on bottom is crushed needs replacing
2 years later still fixing things now leaks around windows, funny how thecompany reponds to some, never responded go my post, i have since added dyructural members, fixed the front roller best i could, added sisalation tape which is cheap, not sure why they did not. Must of had the worst contractor on the centralcoast build it.
