Poor assembly design – I ordered a bed frame from Sleeping Giant. The customer service, price and delivery was all good . But the set up for assembling the frame was underwhelming. There were no instructions. The location for the screws to be inserted were blocked by another part of the bed. In the end we had to dismantle the bed further to assemble. extra several pieces of screws which we didn’t know where it should be .

The frame is teak timber . Whilst I accept there may be variation from what we saw at the shop , the look of the frame that arrived was patchy with many sections that seem to have been joined by various pieces . Rather disappointed with the purchase overall .

Absolutely fantastic – My daughter needed a new bed and mattress. We had been to all major stores and noticed Sleeping Giant. Lesley came to our rescue. She had fantastic knowledge of all the mattresses and bed frames and showed us all the options suited to our needs. mattress from a major competitor! They also had a great selection of frames and bedheads. She also chose a bed head and frame which she loves. The bed was easy to assemble and and the quality excellent.

Pathetic customer experience – We bought goods with James lane last year. There were many stuff ups with our order from times advising about delivery then the person who comes to deliver advising us different things. Finally we had to swap products. our physio recommended to check with mattress company as we don’t feel sore back on different mattress. When we contacted customer support, we were asked if we have been rotating mattress as part of warranty? Like never ever I heard about this thing. They say it’s too bad and don’t care as product is not good.

If you still feel confident about this company then feel free to buy off them

Deceiving & Poor Customer Service – Having purchased a bedroom suite and mattress previously (July 2018) from the Cranbourne Store, which I must say the customer service was FANTASTIC, I went to make another purchase in October, only to find the store had recently closed down. her I would like to purchase the same mattress as per my previous purchase, she searched the system to find my details so she could order the exact same mattress, then at the same time she was to ask the Area Manager if a discount could be applied to this order to reflect the same price as per the previous order, she confirmed this was approved, therefore I proceeded to purchase the mattress over the phone.

Three weeks later I went on to pick up the mattress, only to come home and realise this was an inferior mattress sold to me at the same price as my previous order.

I immediately called and spoke to another lady, who I had never dealt with, who argued with me that this could never have been the case, and If I wanted the same as per my previous order I would need to pay the difference between what I had received, and what I had originally asked for.

After arguing with me for nearly 5 minutes, she finally put me onto [name removed] who was the sales girl I had originally dealt with, only to cop the same rude behaviour that was completely uncalled for, which infuriated me further, as I had put my trust in her over the phone initially to complete this transaction without any fuss.

On top of the Rude and incompetent sales staff at the Nunawading Store, I am now left with an inferior mattress at the same price as I had paid for only some 3 months prior.

Consider wisely when dealing with Sleeping Giant as clearly customers are not important after they receive payment and any issues are to arrive.
