We have purchased two beds and two mattresses from the store and we are particularly pleased with our dealing with Roman and Amanda who made all efforts to make us comfortable and patiently explained the features and even guided us carefully about what we should be be looking for in the items we wanted to purchase. It has been a great experience and we look forward to the delivery of the stuff we ordered

Nutmeg is beautiful but sadly the Slats are Plywood, they are rough and coming apart on some of the ends. If I had known I may not have bought it, I'm going to use an old beds pine slats if the fit when I go to turn the mattress, as I'm scared the Plywood Slats will rip the SG mattress.

online support, asked for a return and refund but that was refused, instead they sent out 2 people to try and fix it. I still wasn’t confident in the bed and noticing even more how flimsy the frame is even after band aid repairs. I didn’t feel safe so again asked for a return and refund on the same day.
I then called the company to tell them to speak to the men who came to fix the MULTIPLE problems with the bed- oh no! Apparently they don’t speak to them or get any feedback, they are just tradespeople and don’t work for sleeping giant!?? Must rely on my videos apparently. Which is RIDICULOUS. The leg that came off the bed has a screw that is loose and won’t tighten, I told the repair people this and it’s still loose. So sleeping giant requested MORE videos and photos about what I’m talking about. In these videos sleeping giant accused me of not using the bed as intended due to me showing how the frame was bending when pressure was applied, it’s relevant because this frame is directly holding up the legs which so easily just fell off!!

Overall frustrating and disappointing experience made even more challenging by staff who know they are selling inferior products and trying to move you along.

I’ve now lodged a complaint with ACCC and consumer affairs hoping that no one gets hurt when another one of their beds collapses.
I’m please to update that the company FINALLY agreed to refund me the bed. I just wish they wouldn’t make it so difficult, especially when the product itself was faulty and poor quality!! I’ve now had my NEW bed delivered from OZ DESIGN, and the difference in quality is night and day.

The product did not meet expectations and has caused significant inconvenience. The delivery guys just left the pieces everywhere, leaving the bedroom in complete disarray and requiring me to wait for a warranty claim now.
I expected prompt and clear communication regarding the next steps to resolve the issue, but instead, I only received automated responses. This has added to the frustration and disappointment with the overall experience.
I would strongly recommend improving both product quality checks and customer support response times.

be told that I would be charged a 30% fee to return plus a pick up fee of around $125 (cant remember the exact amount but thats near it) I asked why I hadn't t been told about the 30% and Helena (Hornsby store) got quite unfriendly and said its in the Terms and Conditions. How about directing me to them before the purchase or using your 'customer service skills' to advise me of them. Honestly, it was all downhill after that, unfriendly, not interested, unhelpful. Would NEVER buy from this company again. Have heard similar stories from friends and relatives. Much better service elsewhere and (thank God) much more competition.

Do not do business with them! We bought a nice *looking*, not cheap Art & Science Platinum "Firm Support" King size mattress from Sleeping Giant Mile End on 26 Nov 2021. years (well within the 10 year warranty period) the mattress is no longer fit for purpose - two narrow grooves/troughs formed where we sleep causing us to roll into uncomfortably into. Of course you can't see the problematic deformation because of the top foam layer masking the issue - this is what they use to weasel their way out of honouring their warranty and replacing their unfit product. I'm will continue to press for their warranty to be honoured, terrible service. In the meantime I will advertise my negative experience, seriously poor form. They need to learn from companies like Costco which have awesome customer guarantees for their products.

you're given space and time to make a decision it's heaps easier. We did our maths based on previous mattresses we've had and figured if only lasted a third of the warranty period, it would cost us way less than a dollar a day. It made me wonder why I was still sleeping on a very expensive mattress that had failed years earlier after not even coming close to the sales hype and was now just uncomfortable. The mattress was delivered with a smile, on time with constant updates on their progress leading to the arrivial time. Seriously, the two delivery guys were friendly and more than happy to help. As the final face of the whole process they really were worth gold to the Sleeping Giant team. You can buy mattresses in lots of places but Coral and the delivery staff made this unplanned purchase a really pleasant and satisfying experience. Two thumbs up.
