These are by far my favourite prepared meals. I love that they’re fresh, not frozen, and the quality is consistently excellent. I tried them years ago and I’m so glad I came back to them. Edit: Customer service contacted me in less than 24 hours after the review was published. They have given me a partial refund and are passing my feed back to the director and the kitchen. The butter chicken meat is leg meat, which would be fine except the skin and knuckles were included. The meat had either been over cooked or over tenderised and the texture was very mushy and unpleasant. The flavour was otherwise good and the low carb rice was an acceptable alternative to real rice. If the chicken meat was better quality it would be a good meal.

The chicken thigh in the teriyaki chicken was also an unpleasant mushy texture and the overall flavour was not good. I could not eat it, it went in the bin.

The beef in the Mongolian beef has so much connective tissue throughout I couldn't eat most pieces, and the ones I could eat also seemed over tenderised and an unpleasant texture. You can see where I stopped eating.

I'm really disappointed, I was excited to try these after reading so many good reviews. I'm trying to find a meal service I can use long term.

three weeks and that sees me through with great, quick lunches and dinners. Thrive have given me time back and the relief at not having to think about cooking a meal when I have had a draining day is fantastic. The delivery is quick, and communication about your order is outstanding. Very highly recommend Thrive!

cauliflower smoosh that other low carb services have. I haven't had any gross bits of meat either. I'm so impressed. I also love that some meals are simply meat and greens. I hate adding non necessary cr^p to fill the carb part of the meal. Impressed and hopeful customer.

I have been buying meals on and off for a while now and whilst the meals are always tasty and fresh I did have issues this time with some delivery and customer service issues which was unfortunate. Michelle from. thrive meals ended up calling me and I did feel like a valued customer again so at least the issues were resolved so I will definitely give them another go in the future . 4 of the 10 meals I received had a use by date of only 5 or 6 days, and the delivery driver didn't bother to follow the requested delivery instructions. Quality has gone down, will not try again. The lamb Biryani is without a doubt the most disgusting meal (not just pre-prepared meal) i have ever eaten, and I have eating everything. sausages went from 3 sausages to 5 half sausages with no change to the photo to show this. Items in my order were replaced without notification.

We were with Thrive for about 3 weeks and it was a poor to average experience. There’s a good variety of meals - but we found that the taste and quality of the ingredients was pretty average, they were ok to eat but not good enough for us to WANT to eat them. busy road and they would never actually buzz our apartment, they’d leave it on the sidewalk outside the building and text us - leading the food to be stolen. It’d be a 30 second use of time to buzz the apartment and be let into the foyer where the food could sit safely.

We cancelled our subscription, will find something else.

I had never heard of Thrive but chose you after a Choice review rating you highly. I have not been disappointed. The meals arrived on time and after 2 hours on my door step, remained chilled. The meals are delicious and satisfying. I cannot fault them. Show reply

Food ordering and delivery are super easy. The actual food is the best I have had between the different ‘ready meal’ brands and the choice to have keto and gluten free is awesome and not available with the majority of other brands. Tasty foods and super low calories. Show reply

Very tasty meals with all the hard work done for you. A tad expensive if you are doing two meals a day but overall good value for money. I limit myself to one Thrive meal a day and usually have a miso soup and a keto meat and salad wrap for lunch. I recommend this company over most of the others that I have tried. Show details ·  1

We’ve been spending just under $600 a week on our subscription, so we really expected a higher level of quality and service for the price. Unfortunately, both have been consistently underwhelming. The vegetables are often undercooked, with carrots in particular always coming out hard and unappetising, which makes the meals feel rushed and poorly prepared.

The biggest letdown, though, is the customer service. They’re incredibly difficult to deal with and completely inflexible when it comes to even the simplest requests. I recently asked to remove just seven pre-packaged snacks from an order, a small and reasonable change, days before dispatch. These could have easily been passed onto someone else’s order or even rolled over into my own the following week, but they refused.

Again this week, I tried to edit our upcoming order five days before delivery, as we still have a lot of food left over and didn’t want it to go to waste. Once again, the answer was no.

For a company charging premium prices, this level of rigidity and lack of basic customer care is disappointing. At the very least, they should send an email reminder when the cutoff to edit an order is approaching so customers aren’t caught out.

Overall, the food is average, the meat and vegetables are poor quality, and the customer service is unhelpful. Sadly, it’s just not worth the money.

We think it's the best ready meal service we've sampled. Packed full of flavour, the veggies are fresh, crisp and delicious. Plenty of protein and very filling. Yum, have already ordered again. Show details ·  1
