Yes it is my skin can be very oily and I find with this it’s definitely not a oily product but also not a drying one of that makes sense I’ve only used it a few times now but it seems to be shrinking my hormonal acne which is a good sign!!

The differences in names exist due to labelling regulations in New Zealand. Thursday Plantation does also produce another product under the name Tea Tree Blemish Stick, which is specifically formulated for pimple-prone skin, this product comes with a convenient sponge tip applicator which allows specific application onto pimples. It contains two key ingredients (Tea Tree Oil and Manuka Honey), Tea Tree oil dries out blemishes and breakouts, while Manuka Honey helps improve the appearance of acne scars.

Hi Neruna, for great result it’s better to wash your face with soap first to ensure that the gel penetrates the affected area then u can leave it on your face as they dry up after a while ... I hope this helps

The medicated gel is best used after the tea tree foam face wash this does dry out the skin so its best to also use the face cream.

hi, if u buy exactly “tea tree Medicated Gel For Acne” it’s a gel ! it’s invisible gel with a sharp smell. it’s not face wash, it’s better to use it twice a day or more on ur pimples

Hi Nick! I'm no expert on skin conditions however, i work as a nurse in aged care and have had plenty of patients that suffer with Rosacea. Go and see your GP and dicuss a prescription for Rosex Gel. It works fabulously!

I leave it on and then apply moisturiser over it once dry.

Yes It is effective to treat the acne but not to prevent it you need to check with a dermatologist, If you have an oily and sensitive skin you can use (la roche posay effeclar duo +)its really good it's been 2 months since I started to use it twice daily and definitely I see the difference ( also my doctor adviced me to use it ) and I use it as a makeup base and regarding the tea tree gel still I love it and use it on my body when I need it..

( just check the cause and reduce the sugar intake and unhealthy food)

The gel usually dries up after a little bit :) but personally you just dried out a pimple probably putting moisturizer on top would probably work against it
