Shocking website experience,

I have spent the past hour trying to buy just one chisel from Timbecon. Following many successful purchases, this attempt has been a complete waste of the customers time. Clearly, Timbecon has IT issues. I have gone around in circles: I have reset passwords: I have tried checking in as a guest. I have made two phone calls to Timbecon. But I still haven’t been able to do business. So sad: what a chronic waste of my time,

My go to tool shop in Australia. I only buy quality tools and Timbecon never dissapoint

I've been shopping at Timbecon now for over 2 years and have nothing but great things to say about this company. I've had literally dozens of purchases sent from Melbourne and Perth to Brisbane and the service has been excellent on every occasion. Fun and priductive

The staff were friendly, not pushy, knowledgeable and helpful. We were not exactly sure what the tool we wanted was called and described it and found exactly what we were looking for. We also spent another half hour looking around the immaculately clean and neat store! Show details

Long-term satisfied customer

I have been using Timbecon for a few years now. I have found their products to do what is says on the box and I research before I buy. Their customer service is good and they have answered my questions promptly. Delivery is fast and any issues that I have had have been the fault of the courier.
I look around my workshop and there are a lot of tools and equipment that were ordered from Timbecon. I keep going back.
Whilst some reviews seem to have had a bad experience, I have not (over many years). I would recommend Timbecon to anyone. Show details

Very Happy, fast delivery and well packaged

I see quite a few negative reviews, but my experience was excellent. Not sure if I got lucky, or if reviews are more often written when people are frustrated. This was my first purchase with Timbecon. Only a few Australian suppliers had the Freud router bits I was after. Price was competitive, my products arrived 3 days after ordering, to country South Australia. They arrived well packaged and exactly what I had ordered. I would purchase from Timbecon again. Show details

pass the buck with postage never arriving

deserves a minus star but cant do that ::::They are terrible to say the least , i paid for my order and got the your items have been posted.so i check the tracking nothing . checked again 3 days later still nothing so i sent an email asking about my items and they said rest assured its been posted and be there in a few days ( paid for road express ) .I then emailed the couriers and they have no record so i contacted Timbecon again and they said well the couriers dont scan on pickup all the time .Has been 14 days now and still same story we are looking lalalala peeeed of to say the least no products and $183 out of pocket

Bad service and attitude

I would give negative stars if i could. I ordered items listed as in stock to be delivered express post. 2 days after paying my items where still not posted. i contacted them by email and got a reply advising they take up to 2 days to post items. 3 days later and my items are still not posted. I cancelled order. never again. Show details

Bad Service and Attitude

I placed an order and pay for express. I follow up the next day. I try their chat and no response. I send an email and no reply.
I call and let them the day after and let them know about their poor chat and email response. So they decide to cancel my order.
Seems they don't like accurate negative feedback about their poor communication.
They're so petty they then prevent me logging into my Timbecon account. It's like dealing with petulant children. Show details

I ordered glue on Monday on Friday still not dispatched when i rang them i was told the accountant was away sick this week so nothing has been done and they were not sure when it would be dispatched this was an urgent order but i was not offered any help i will not deal with this company again

Advertised a different product

I received an item that was supposed to be brass and wasn’t. And then was told I would only receive a refund if I post the item back to them at there expense. I’m sorry but half hours out of my weekend to post items back are worth more than the item I payed for. Good business practice would be to give me a full refund and an apology for wasting my time Show details

They have demonstrated no interest in resolving simple issues that has left me with the unfortunate task of advising all who read this that your custom will be appreciated elsewhere. Can not recommend Timbecon in any capacity. Show details
