Found one on the hard rubbish minus the hose and wand and the cord was cut short, looked brand new, not a scratch on it. I needed a vac head for a dust separator collector bin project for renovations so put a cord on and checked it over. Brilliant suction but low air volume, connected it up the dust separator bin and it was okay after cleaning… Read more

the filters thoroughly but it still was low volume and would make a sucking noise like it was leaking somewhere soon after each start. Found the sucking was coming from the valve at the top of the canister for when the hose gets blocked - to save the motor from overheating, stuck a piece of duct tape over that. Thought this is odd must be a blockage in the dust separator hose, checked nope, tore the vac apart and right in the centre tube was a clog of dog hair and a toothpick and a paper v clip, I don’t have a dog and my dust separator doesn’t let anything like a paper clip past so must have been previous owners. After fiddling about with long tweezers got it all out, cleaned the filters again, had a little plaster dust on them, fired it up and suction is three times brilliant - strong enough now to collapse the wall of the dust separator bin so now have to run it with bleed air at the nozzle. Very strong vacuum especially with the filters clean and the safety valve covered. The canister is moulded to look like it has multiple little cyclones Dyson style, it doesn’t have any of those so that’s just plain deception on the manufacturers part making it look like that, just one basic cyclone that’s full of compromises. So far very pleased with how it pulls air through the dust separator bin which is a 99% capture, so I give it 5 stars for value being off the hard rubbish and 5 stars for performance. I don’t know what the wand or tools are like as didn’t get those. What it does have is a soft start circuit, a couple of times it didn’t start and I though okay this is why it put out, it’s only happened twice and hasn’t happened again for ages so we’ll see how it goes. Picked up an Anko $70 vac off hard rubbish last week, also brand new, hardly sucking, had a steel wool pad in exactly the same place as this one’s blockage, removed it and the vac is perfect, no scratches, has the hose and wand including crevice and blinds tools still in original wrappers, and a complete cord. Now I can use each vac to clean the other through the separator bin, makes it very easy to clean the filters. It gets 5 stars for value too.

Awful – After 14 months of light use this vacuum has started to overheat and has an almost complete loss of power. The power head does not work either due to lack of suction. I didn't expect much from such a cheap vacuum but I did expect more than this. I have cared for it like a baby, cleaning ALL the filters after every use. Not a large area to clean… Read more

either. Buyer beware. Save some extra dollars and get something better than this. What a waste of time and money. Used on carpet, tiles and vinyl.

You get what you pay for… – It’s small, light and easy to use. It’s easy to detach and ok on floors with tiled or wood surfaces. On the other hand it has too many shortcomings the price is a clear indication that it has a short lifespan. It has low suction. I found myself going over the same area a few times attempting to loosen lint and other surface level debris when I… Read more

could have used a broom for better results, or even pick the carpet by hand.

Not efficient or effective for bigger rooms. I found myself spending 10-15 minutes in medium sized bedrooms using this vacuum it will drag against the carpet with lots of resistance consuming time, and energy.

It expels hot air, will overheat and power down to cool the motor… that a great safety feature although it may take an hour or two before it cools enough to be used again. From there it’s seemed to get worse and will power down quickly.

To say this is a good buy is relative. Its not the best for a house, but suitable for a 1-2 bedroom unit that’s does not have carpet.

If you’re someone that has time to vacuum every other day, living in a small to midsized unit that has easy to clean floors and believe a 1 year warranty to replace is worth $150 by all means go for it… it’s your money.

I have had this product for a little over a year and would not buy this again.

Worst vacuum ever – Worst vacuum, Worked fantastic first few times then since then you have to empty it after 3-5 minutes of use . Took it back to Godfrey's who confirmed no issues with it proceeded to try use it and it just gets worse have cleaned filters, emptied every 3 mins , empty the hose and the suction is rubbish . My cheap Kmart one before this worked better . Big disappointment Show details

Piece of crap – Worked great for the first 4-5 uses (in less than 3 months) then noticeably lost suction power -Contacted Godfrey's who said I should clean the filters. Cleaned all 3 which admittedly were quite dusty and dirty. Machine suction returned to it's good power - However after only 3 uses following this, the machine is again suctionless, missing light… Read more

bits of crumbs and dirt. I cleaned all the filters after each use the previous 3 times and again this last attempt but to no avail. Will return for a full refund and hopefully a machine fit for purpose.

Spent more time cleaning the filters and machine than I did vacuuming. Highly disapprove, 100%.

Regret buying this thing. Only had it 5 months! – Was talked into this hunk of plastic while looking at another. The filters are crap. one keeps whistling or blowing off and the other disintegrated within a few months. The turbo head jams up and have had it in to be fixed just for it to happen again. Have to pull it apart each time we use it, especially as the center piece gets blocked and when you empty it you have to be careful that the center piece stays put or you have dust everywhere.  Show details

Not Fit For Purpose! – Purchased 2nd January 2020. Barely used. Failed 6th April 2020. Owing to Godfrey's store and service section being closed due to Covid closures the machine could not be sent off for repair until 18th May 2020. Machine returned to me on 28th May 2020, with a new motor being installed. Owing to the Covid closure I needed a vacuum cleaner ,so I… Read more

bought another brand from another retailer. As a result, when the Titan machine was returned I used it even less, owing to having a second machine. In May 2021 I leant the Titan to a friend to use. The machine developed a fault; appeared to be an electrical one, related to the power cord sparking and then the machine would fail to operate, eventually it would start again and fault again. I appreciated by now the machine was out of warranty. However, I returned the machine to Godfrey's, but the machine would not fault. I took it away. Then the fault became present again. Early June 2021 I returned the machine to Godfrey's and the electrical fault became apparent when the store manager was testing the machine. I was told it could be sent away to be looked at, at my expense. I stated the machine was not fit for purpose, as Consumer Affairs state that a product should perform after its warranty period. The store manager would not accept that the machine was not fit for purpose, as he was offering to organise a repair, at my cost. When I stated I was not happy with the quality of the machine, the store manager told me I should have bought a $1000 machine in the first place (He did not tell me this when I initially purchased the machine!) and told me other things, including showing me his trophy award from 2017 for best store! I stated that I would post a review on the internet about the lack of quality of the machine and my experience with the Godfrey store and tell my friends and family; the store manager's reply was that I needed to be careful when posting reviews, as if it was defamatory, then the company would "come after me". He stated also that the ACCC would back Godfrey's. The store manager then offered to give me my money back if I would put it towards a better quality $1000 vacuum cleaner. I declined his offer.

Spend more for better quality – This worked well for a few months, but then completely lost suction and gets clogged every time you use it. I clean the filter and there really isn't much inside so I have no idea why the suction has slowed. Not happy I should have spent morefor a better brand. Show details

Very disappointed – I bought this vacuum cleaner 28th August 2020, after reading the reviews. I've got hard floors and carpets, children and pets.... worked amazing first few times, I was really happy . Then it slowly started loosing suction each use despite cleaning after each use and no blockages. Fliter clean..... today I went to vacuum and its not sucking… Read more

up a darn thing. So very disappointed.... I am returning to Godfreys where I bought it today for advice or a full refund, because it's still under warranty...... I can't honestly say it's a good vacuum cleaner. It's still so clean as it's hardly been used.....

I can't recommend... I'm wondering if these great reviews were written after the first use? I know I almost did....

It's utterly useless in it's current state and its just only just after a month old.... my cheap $85 kmart one leaves it for dead.

Do Not Buy one – Worst vacuum out there. Sucks good but can only do half a room before the filters are clogged. False advertising 2l dust bin means less emptying, when it can't even fill it your constantly cleaning all filters, pulling the dust bin apart to in clog the middle vents. Waste of money. Godfreys 90day warranty on defective items mean crap all, the item clearly does not do what it is advertised it is supposed to do. Show details

Worst vacuum cleaner ever!!!! – I purchased this vacuum cleaner a few months ago and have found this vacuum cleaner has very poor suction. I empty the canister after I vacuum each room and it doesn’t seem to make any difference. I have used both vacuum heads interchangeably and have found both to be insufficient at their job. Also the hose is constantly coming loose and has to… Read more

be pushed back in. Very bad buy and a vacuum I will never recommend and after a few very frustrating months, will now purchase a different brand.

Not bad at all – This vaccumn is not bad for the price as long as you keep everything clean after each use. Only thing i would complain about is the length of the power cord i have a small 3 bedroom house and i need to use all the power points i have in the house to vaccumn the while place and the vaccumn hose is a bit short Show details

Don’t bother. Just buy a better one – Works great on hard floors and a little too well for carpets, for the first couple of months... then you have to basically disassemble and wash the thing to clear out all the clog; which is to be expected at least twice a year. After that it’s like, twice a month; other brands I’ve owned simply did not need such frequent maintenance! This vacuum may suit someone who does have the time on their hands to do all this so often unlike me. Show details

Perfect sucker! – Vacuums like a charm. Very powerful and good for most surfaces. Will say tho that it lifted the lino clean off the floor and I had to shut it down to break the suction. Comes with limited attachments. Show details

Amazing suction for a low price – This vacuum is amazing. I would advise elderly people not to buy this vacuum as the suction is extremely strong/ hard to push especially on carpet, it deep cleans exceptionally. Show details

Happy Little Sucker! – I found a popular brand on the Internet, but the salesman convinced me to choose this one for the same price! It has a turbo head as well as the usual one - and more power! The turbo head with a rotary brush 'rips' dust and hair out of carpets! It parts the fibres, exposing "what lies beneath"!
