Cr#p the arm connected to the lense frame is connected by a flimsy push on clip once it comes off that's it no fix I find them flimsy trash worth about the same as a pair of servo ,$30 pair of coarse out of warranty absolute trash should of bought spotters one of the other top brands for the same money Show details
Lens cracked after placing on head. 3months old. Tonic said they were sat on, they weren’t. Wanted almost $200 (including freight) for replacement. Cheap petrol station polarised glasses are better quality. Show details
Frames were very flimsy. Lenses scratched easily so are now the glasses are useless within 3 mo the of purchase Show details
Absolutely shocking sunglasses will never waste money on these again second pair Show details
Purchased Tonic sunglasses approx 18mths ago after loosing my other pair from a vendor that I normally purchase from. Decided to give Tonic a go. From the start I thought not as polaroid or clear as my other brand. Then had glasses in my pocket (front right left pocket) sat and pretty much squashed/twisted the glasses frame - yeah ok my fault… Read more
but a bit flimsy really. 90 bucks to get new frames with my original lenses.... Repair and return ok not fantastic service. Been a couple months and lenses popping out regularly. My Review summary - they are ok. Paid 240 approx and probably not worth it... will go back to my original brand.

Hubby had his tonics for one day and stepped on them - insert swearing and crying - rang Mel and they replaced them for cut price included a strap - fully recommend a strap - glasses and after sales service is the best I’ve had in a long time - fully recommend Show details
Follow-up · Hubby loves his new glasses / best ever for fishing and safe as with the new strap in place looking forward to many happy years wearing his Tonics
The worst thing I ever purchased. Expensive rubbish. I can't recommend any one buying.$735. Good one tonic. Show details
Crap frames – Great lens but the frames are crap. Had petrol on my hands and picked up the glasses and within 5 minutes there was a creak in the frame. After reading Tonic warranty I would ever no use soapy water on them or the frames will creak. So the only way to clean them is spit Show details
Don't buy tonic sunglasses – Do not buy tonic dose not stand up bad quality lenses lifting. Bad customer service want me to pay 187 to replace tried to blame me not cleaning properly me a ambulance officer and surf life saver he said they can't have any any water left on lenses ??? So don't sweat don't walk in rain my fellow emergency service family don't waste your money.
Terrible save your money – Brought these for my husband for Father’s Day. So literally two and half weeks ago… He doesn’t wear to work, wears his old spotters which mind you are about 3 years old and still perfect.. they are only used weekends, so maybe worn half a dozen times and one Lens is already cracked… who knows how, but you can’t be serious for the price it would… Read more
be able to sustain a few bump and we have no clue if they even have been, but the have a massive crack on the side of lens … Would NEVER recommend buying these … back to spotters that last the distance and actually use them without out bubble wrapping them so they last more than a few weeks !!!! Wish I had read the reviews prior to buyjng
Sorry sh^= glasses – Had my glasses for 3 months, they fell of my head lens popped out chipped the glass tonic will not fix them can't get a refund. Absolutely crap service Show details
Great glasses but terrible fit – Great glasses. Trying them on they seemed to be great but if you’re actively walking running or generally just moving they continually slide down my nose. I have the EVO
Love them on the water – Excellent sunnies an fixed free after a quick ph call posted back in 2 days. Top service thankyou.

Fab customer service! – I had my Flemington glasses for 4 weeks and I was just getting used to them and loving them when I tripped and broke the frame. I made contact with Fred in CS and sent my glasses back with the understanding Tonic would call back to tell me what they could do for me . Two weeks later I called Frank again and was told they would be delivered that… Read more
day. And they were! With new frames and no cost to me! So impressed and looking forward to wearing them again.
The best fishing glasses on the market – My preference and go to lens is the Neon with the Shimmer frames as I find they cover just about all the locations I have fished especially in low light conditions. Show details
Very good glasses at a good price and good after sales service – I've had my Tonic Shimmers for almost a year and they are excellent for cutting out glare and for fishing with. I did have a problem with the frame breaking over the bridge of the nose. I sent in the sunglasses to be assessed (they were still under the 1 year warranty period) and they replaced the frame free of charge. I'd buy Tonics again. Show details
What warranty? – Your replacement warranty for faulty products are non existent. As it was no fault of our own, obviously your eyewear lens are defected, so why do we have to pay for repairs? So much for warranty on short lifer wears.
Nice and clear, but no strength – So I'm really disappointed in the longevity. I've owned many spotters and never had an issue. Two and a half months into these and I drop them on a deck from sitting height and they crack. It was my fault but I sent them in anyway because I've dropped other glasses over the years far worse with no ill effect. I thought they should have stood up to… Read more
more, like the many other brands have.
The owner called and said I'd smacked them on gravel or something. He told me how he's got them work pliers and dropped them on concrete with no effect. This all meant he clearly didn't believe me (effectively calling me a liar). All good and well that his one's lasted, but clearly a single drop with the ones I had were more than enough to do them in.
He offered replacement at his cost price of $165. Sorry, but with my experience in such a short time I'll never touch these again.
Wear all day no eye strain – Best glasses I’ve ever worn for fly fishing, excellent customer service when I damaged my glasses, very happy
Poor customer service and weak frame – I accidentally hit my head on a door frame while passing through and the frame broke and one glass fell to the floor. My fault. But I thought I might be able to buy a new frame as glasses were in perfect condition. Sent an email and not even a response. I will stick to the good old Spotters from now on
Great glasses sad customer support – Purchased a pair of tonic sunglasses for $220 and decided to try a different brand from my usual brand of spotters. Made in Australia was one of the criteria I always try to include. Great glasses but after 3 months I accidentally dropped them cracking a lens all fault of my own. No biggy I contacted tonic to have 1 lense replaced and happy to pay… Read more
for repair but not at $160 + postage and return the cost of almost the full purchase price of the sunglasses Gentlemen was not very helpful and pretty much said that was that. Guess I'm back to spotters which have repaired my previous glasses at not cost even when I expect to pay.
