Terrible company called to make a booking called 30 minutes later after booking for the next morning as I was looking for something same day. I was told about $120 cancellation fee. And then said that I was not going to pay this fee as it was only booked 30 minutes ago. He said someone will be turning up tomorrow morning, like some sort of… Read more
threat. Absolutely disgusting that there are companies out there like this and this company should be absolutely avoided. Probably the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.
Stay away from Top Cleaning Master / GREEN Cleaning, Maintenance & Pest Control. Booked a couch clean for my daughter, confirmed for 10–12. Cancelled just after 8am because my daughter and son-in-law had to take their 4 week old baby to the doctor after being in ER Thursday night. No response to my text or email, so I called the number provided to… Read more
make sure they weren’t inconvenienced and to reschedule. The call that followed was honestly shocking. I was: called a liar (twice) when explaining a medical situation involving a newborn told I was lying about not sending an email spoken over the entire time told I “should just know” about a $100 cancellation fee told they don’t have to provide any terms or proof They also claimed there was a 2-hour cancellation policy (which was never disclosed), yet the booking window was 10–12 and I cancelled just after 8am — which by their own timing sits within that window anyway. Even more concerning, I was told they had emailed me at “10am”… while I was on the phone to them at around 9:10am. The number listed under “Ben Foster” is not a direct contact — it’s a call centre (confirmed during the call). At no point was I provided with, or agreed to, any terms and conditions or cancellation policy. Overall: no transparency inconsistent information aggressive and unprofessional behaviour In my experience, this did not feel like dealing with a legitimate local service provider. Would not use again.
Top master cleaner. Omg. The man bought a 100year old machine with 3 wheels in the house. He split water all over the floor.had no towels, no chemicals provided, wore a jacket advertised some other company. This man took half an hour for the whole house,it a 4 bedroom with loungeroomhe didn't even clean properly ,we had stains which needed… Read more
removing and weren't. I would never recommend this company to anyone. He also scrapped all the hallway walls with his 3 wheels.i kept asking where the other wheel is but did not answer me. The equipment is not fit for safety standards to be in people's homes,.The machine made our home smell like mouldy wet carpet,he left it wet, told us the stains will improve after drying but they did not.we also discovered extra marks on the carpet after him leaving .he told us we were getting a good deal. He was discusting in manner, his machinery and work ethics.Something needs to be done about shonky people ripping people off for a disservice, because of there on fault on upkeep of the business. These sorts of people claiming they do certain jobs, are worthless when all we want is the job done properly. Please don't use this company.
Had my couch cleaned… 15mins and he left. Said the marks on there are just wet marks, wait for it to dry. “Call me back and I’ll fix it not” Called back and ignored, called the company and they give me an email to send photos. Photos sent, Called again and they just hang up. You can’t got to an office, or physically see this company in person.… Read more
I now know why… Scammers
Wish I read all these reviews first…
Photos show the lines where it cleaned and left behind the dirt marks.
Terrible experience – would never use this company again. The cleaner did not follow the 5-step process advertised on their website – instead, they did a quick 1-step job. I had a small lounge area and a 3-seater sofa to be cleaned, and the entire job was rushed through in just 10 minutes. When I questioned why only a small patch of vomit stain… Read more
was cleaned (which they wanted to charge an extra $120 for), I asked about the rest of the carpet area, since I thought that was included in the service. Only then did they go back and clean the rest.
I called the office afterwards to raise my concerns about the service and professionalism, but they didn’t seem to care. There was also a language barrier, and while they said they would speak with the cleaner, I am certain nothing was done.
Unprofessional, misleading, and poor value – I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! If I could give this company a negative rating, I absolutely would. The entire experience was unprofessional, misleading, and is a scam. I hired them to clean a small patch of vomit from our cream-colored wool carpet. The technician who arrived spoke limited English, increased the price from the original quote, and used… Read more
a faulty machine that looked like it had been rented from Bunnings. During the job, he noticed the machine leaking and asked me for a towel. I saw liquid leaking from two separate spots and watched him place the towel underneath—clearly trying to contain the leak. That liquid turned out to be waste water from the machine’s tank, and it left permanent stains on the carpet.
I raised the issue immediately while the technician was still onsite. He called his company, and I spoke with them directly to explain what had happened. They asked to speak with him, and he then attempted to clean the stain. It didn't look like it had come out but he said to wait until it dries. Once the carpet dried and the damage was fully visible, I lodged a formal complaint. Both the area we asked him to treat and the area where the machine was leaking was left with a strange red tinge. But the worst was the area where the machine was leaking waste. That’s when the company began giving me the runaround.
First, they claimed their machines are inspected before and after every job and refused to offer compensation. Then they said the technician had asked for a towel to wipe vomit off the wheel—and that this somehow caused the stain. I shared a video showing the layout of the room, clearly proving that explanation was impossible based on the location of the vomit, the bedroom entrance, and where the machine was positioned. In reality, the vomit had already been treated before the technician arrived. We had removed what we could, blotted the area with water, and covered it with bicarb soda. It was dry by the time he got there, and there was no reason for the machine to be wheeled over that area—it was at the opposite end of the bedroom suite from the entrance. Their claim simply doesn’t hold up under scrutiny.
Next, they changed their story again, saying the stain came from something in our home that the machine rolled over. When I pointed out that even if that were true, their technician and equipment were still responsible, they shifted the story a third time—claiming the vomit was in two separate locations. Apparently, vomit now has wings and can fly two metres from a small patch outside the bathroom to land in two perfectly round, saturated spots. Who would’ve thought!
We ended up hiring a certified wool carpet cleaner to try and repair the damage. Wool requires very specific care—pH-balanced products, thorough rinsing, and an acid spray to restore its natural state. The original technician clearly had no understanding of this. While the expert cleaner was able to reduce some of the damage caused by the cleaning products, the stain from the leaking machine remains visible.
To make matters worse, the company operates under multiple names, Master Cleaner, Target Cleaners, and Top Cleaning Master, all using identical websites with different branding. It’s misleading and designed to appear like separate businesses.
Throughout the complaint process, I dealt with someone named [Name Removed], who told me, “We don’t believe customers, we don’t believe our employees, we only believe the facts given in emails.” That in itself it absurd. I explained that I have shared all the before-and-after photos and videos clearly showing what happened. If the machine wasn’t faulty, why didn’t the technician deny the leak when I called the company during the job? Instead, he tried to clean the stain, which only confirms the issue.
This company was careless, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. I strongly advise others to avoid their services and any affiliated brands. They take no responsibility for their mistakes and show no regard for customer care.
We used Top Cleaning Master for our 12 month old couch. We have it cleaned every 6 months and used this company for the second cleaning. They literally destroyed the seat on the sofa making it all fluffy. The rest of the seats were all stripped. We contacted them 3 x times with requested photos etc with the poor results. They finally replied… Read more
saying that they were happy with their work and were not going to respond to any further communication. We definitely would not recommend this company. Stay well away from them at all cost. Interestingly they don’t seam to have website so the whole thing is dodgy. Made to pay cash or bank transfer with no receipt.
Booked for 12pm, showed up at 1pm, I said the mattress was upstairs, he asked to see it then asked me to carry it downstairs as the machine is too heavy to carry upstairs. I said I couldn’t. He said he has to call the company then. Goes outside then… Read more
comes back in and says ‘job is now cancelled’ and drives away. Absolutely horrendous service. No apology.
Follow-up · I messaged them after saying the service was horrible. They didn’t reply. At the time I said he couldn’t be serious, but he walked off and drove away.
