Damaged Property - Took NO responsibility - Then when you have a complaint, they just ignore you. I took them to VCAT & they didnt show both times. It was instructed by VCAT they pay me whats owed & nothing. I posted a job a few weeks ago to have furniture assembled & they had tried to take the job. As soon as I mentioned why I wouldn't use them and that I want my money - shock horror they disappeared again.

They will hold your furniture as ransom - reported already to consumer support – - They never be on time when pick up - Could not not deliver on the day but delayed 5+ days, part delivered - Holding item as ransom asking extra payment outside of agreed price - Once payment done then only open their truck to deliver you broken furniture in transit

tired and unable to load and cover my household items. I moved my household items with the help of my friend to their truck. When they reached at my home in Canberra on 30th April 2021, my leather sofa part was missing, and my household items were not in good condition. I raised this issue to top gun relevant person many times and they committed many dates, but they didn’t deliver my leather sofa to my new location. I still didn’t get my leather sofa after almost one year. I would recommend banning this company because they are totally non-trustworthy, dishonest and nonprofessional. They wasted my money, time and added lot of stress. Please don’t go with Topgun. Its’ my sincere advice. Please find attached email correspondence and many commitment. Lot of phone calls are separate.

Best Removal Service! – We chose TopGun to move our family to Melbourne and they didn't disappoint. Their team was punctual, professional and efficient the whole way through the process. They made what could have been a very stressful experience seem like a walk in the park. I can't recommend these guys enough!

Rorted a pensioner, still hasn't paid back the $5000 they stole – After refusing to unload the truck on arrival as payment was stuck in bank limbo, i paid the $7000, after my mother's money a 75 year olds cleared the kept the extra $5000. Lawsuit pending. Don't trust them, they damaged lots of furniture as well.

FOUR HRS LATE NO COMMUNICATION – Booked move for 7-9am pick up as moving 2.5 hrs away. No truck arrived - no communication. Tried calling no answer. using their inventory calculator we booked a truck size UP from what they recommended. Our stuff still didnt fit (???), and they wanted to use both.trucks...AND charge me for the 2nd truck they already turned up with! It was a car trailer load of left over stuff...we left it with wonderful neighbours and went back....not paying another 2k

They arrived at new place about 930pm. Left us at 11.30pm....with battered furniture . It was a freaking nightmare. Never doing that again.

and that everyone was company trained - what a joke. The packers were meant to arrive at 8am, but didn't arrive until 2pm. We were told their truck was stuck in traffic and then we were told the truck had broken down, but the packers themselves told us they had been delayed on another job. There was no professionalism, they were wearing dirty tracksuits and arrived in a dirty small truck. One guy even confessed that he was a cook in an indian cafe and had lost his job 3 weeks prior so was doing this as a short term fill in. You pay the packers by the hour and we were told 4-5 hours. They left at 11.30pm and charged us for 9 hours ($1,000), did not have enough materials, had to go to Bunnings twice for boxes and tape, and still did not get the job finished. The following day the "removalists" arrived to load the boxes onto the truck. It was the same truck, but two more different guys! These guys were subcontractors for sure, they arrived 5 hours late and after loading our possessions they took off without saying anything and at the same time they drove my front fence down onto the footpath - great! I had a house settlement within 24 hours, so I called them and the truck returned about 5 minutes later. The driver got out, inspected our fence on the footpath and then denied it was him. A flat refusal to accept any responsibility. I was then offered $100 dollars as compensation which was an insult. I rebuilt my own fence over night and they arrived again the following day to pick up the rest of our stuff as the truck was too small to take it all in one load, which was a far cry from the "largest truck in our fleet" promise we had been given. Our uplift was finished at 11am leaving us 2 hours to clean the place before our buyer arrived for their final inspection before settlement. I had to repair deep gouges in walls and scuff marks everywhere. A total disaster. A month went by and we were expecting our delivery interstate in May. It arrived and the delivery guys were also subcontractors, they were fuming as they feared they would be blamed for all the damage to our furniture. They showed us photos which they took when they collected our property from the "storage facility". What a mess. our property had been dumped in a massive pile, filing cabinets were open, we received a table leg but no table, wheels broken off cabinets, scratched and damage everywhere - and the breakages in the boxes! Lamps, vases, crockery all broken. Our delivery was missing a television, 2 bikes, a drop saw, table with only 3 legs and 6 boxes. In addition, we were given furniture which was not ours and these guys did not want to take it back! We had to argue with them to take back chairs, a filing cabinet, a sideboard and a large chest of drawers. We were originally quoted 4.5K but it cost us nearly double after all the additions and extras which we were told about AFTER they had our possessions. Be careful dealing with this company, we have nothing but regrets and bad memories. Run in the other direction.

Unprofessional movers. Dodgy. Damaged my furniture – Furniture fell off the lift on their truck. (Blind Freddy could see it unfold). A number of items damaged. Drivers were over two hours late. They basically rang me with an excuse that the driver had a smash and left me with no alternatives, I have given them my account details for a refund that I never got. I had to hire a truck and move everything myself as I’m on my own and couldn’t employ anyone else due to no removal company had any availability before Christmas and I had to move by a certain date. They are scammers, when I rang 20 different company to see if they could move me they all said that they had been inundated with calls, everyone saying they also had been Scammed

Terrible. DO NOT USE top gun – 4 bed home move. Removalist turned up very late, broke numerous furniture pieces, stole expensive power tools, didn’t complete the job on the day, said they would come back the next day but were a no show. Extremely poor service seemingly run by criminals.

Dreadful Experience! – We contracted Big Gun to first do the packing; then do the move from our condo into a large storage unit. The company was supposed to have dropped off packing materials the day before, but didn't. boxes so we had to run out twice to get more boxes, tape and bubble wrap from a retailer. The packers stopped at 5:30 pm, leaving us with about 1/4 of boxes and art not packed. Though the crew showed up on time on the move day, three of us were working hard to finish the packing which took most of the day. Though we'd originally asked for a bigger truck, the one they sent couldn't fit all our goods into it, so they left us with having to do 3 trips in our SUV stuffed with what they didn't move. This despite us sending photos and dimensions of every piece of furniture, decor, etc. and knowing the size truck required from our move-in 2 years earlier. They crammed the storage unit to the degree that when we got there with our first carload, the precariously placed couch fell as we were opening the door, and it was stuck so one of us had to crawl underneath to support the couch while the other opened the door. As a result, the couch got ripped. The movers also took out 2 bins marked "pack for flights" at the end of the move, resulting in those bins being in the far reaches of the storage unit and impossible to retrieve without unpacking the entire unit. Those bins contained the clothes meant for an extended stay in Toronto, so we had to buy new clothes when we arrived. All of this was largely due to the 'planner', [Name Removed], who didn't get the packing materials to us the day before, sent the packers late without enough materials and didn't provide the truck size to accommodate our belongings; It was the most difficult and exhausting move we've ever experienced.

These people are a absolute disgusting disgrace. Would never recommend – Rang on the day of removal and cancelled. Booked 3 weeks in advance. No deposit returned. Cost me a fortune to fix there shit. Never deal with these people. This whole business is a scam.

Rip off scammers! – Sent a truck too small for a 4 bedroom house. Even though I have a 3 bedroom house, I organised the move as a four bedroom so we had a bigger truck. I Had to pay for multiple trips and travel time. Nice little scam they have going on sending you smaller truck so you need to pay for more time. Don't trust these guys. called, they said that was the new price. After threatening to find a new company the agreed to the original price they quoted me. On the move day, they had said they were going to arrive between 7 and 9am and when they didn’t show up, I called and didn’t get a response. I then called using a private number and got a response and as soon as I said my name, he put me on hold for 20 minutes so I hung up. Then at 8pm, 10 to 11 hours later, they arrived and wanted to pack my stuff and keep them overnight so they could “sleep in” the next morning. They arrived late the next morning with a half full truck with no space for all our furniture to fit. Once we arrived in Adelaide after a six hour drive they decided That they would leave all our things in the garage. After an hour-long argument and them trying to scam more money off us so they can take the things upstairs, I had to say that I wouldn’t pay until the whole job was done. If anything, this experience makes me feel for the people that they actually manage to take advantage of and scam.

Bogus movers- Zero star for them – Dont choose them. Stay away from this company, they wont deliver as promised. No show from the movers, no answer, no service, no refund has been provided. Zero stars for this bogus company.

Failed to keep their arrangements – Having booked a removal for a particular day, I received numerous texts assuring me they were scheduled for the job. On the day they failed to arrive and after numerous phone calls stated they would not be arriving as scheduled. Requests for a refund of a deposit where ignored. This company is totally unscrupulous, lie and fail to keep their agreement. Avoid them at all costs.

I have reported the company to my bank and to the police, along with all the phone numbers that I was provided and the evidence of emails.

and 1300 numbers excuse given for non arrival was truck was 10 minutes away. Truck didn’t show up after 30 minutes. Again try to get hold of someone. Finally told truck had technical difficulties. Rebooked and were guaranteed arrival for 7:00am next day, Thursday 11 November. Again they failed to show up. And again no phone call. Two hours to get hold of someone. Again, excuse truck was 10 minutes away. Wait another 30 minutes, then try to get hold of someone. This time the Fleet Coordinator said he didn’t know where the truck was and they would get back to us!! Finally, excuse this time was truck didn’t get back from country removal until 4:00am and driver still in bed. They offered to do move next day on Friday 12 November which, if they did not show up, would put us at risk of contract breach and we terminated the job due to their failure to meet contractual obligations. Have emailed requesting refund, no response. Found the organisation to be dishonest, untrustworthy and totally unreliable. They showed no integrity in operating the business, to their clients or to their own reputation. Never use Top Gun Movers.

Biggest Scam – The removalists never showed up. I paid a deposit and booked weeks in advance. They didn't even bother to ring on the day to tell us they were no longer coming. This was very stressful as we had no way to move. The most unreliable company i've ever dealt with. They don't respond to emails or calls once they've taken your money. I still haven't received my refund despite chasing it for 3+ weeks. Avoid at all costs!

Worst experience of my life – 7.5 hours late, complained the whole time, took 6 hours to move 2 bedrooms, damaged furniture, was forced to pay another moving company to finish the job they started! AWFUL!!!!! Avoid at all costs

Manager" keeps avoiding me for weeks after numerous calls and emails, so unsure if I can claim insurance of damages they caused during the move.

I paid for a maximum 3 hour service (I didn't have much furniture to move as I just moved back from overseas) with a time sensitive move (I was only able to book the building lifts during a certain time). After payment and before the move date, they confirmed the time (2 hour timeframe) via email. On the day, they didn't show up during the specified timeframe. When I called, they said their system had a "mistake" and booked me for a slot 2 hours later than what they initially confirmed. After they finally arrived, they were so slow, they charged me for 5 hours, instead of the original 3 hours. They damaged our brand new couch, broke a drinking glass, scratched our table top and spilled a tin of new protein shake. On the day (Saturday), I was told to contact the "Compliance Manager" via email the following Monday. I called him and sent him the email. I got a response saying, I will check with the team and get back to you. Since then, it's been weeks, I've called him many times but never get through, and his colleagues always ask who I am and as soon as I give my name, he's either "working from home today", "he's unavailable", "he's on another call", "he will get back to you". I believe businesses like this should NOT be allowed to operate. They seller "insurance" as part of their package, but when it comes to actually claiming for those insurances due to damages caused by them, they ignore the customers.

UPDATE: After writing the review they offered me a fake "compensation". Asked me to remove this review in order to process the refund. Since I removed it, they have blocked my emails and calls and I can no longer get through to them. They are such a SCAM! Avoid them at all costs!

Unreliable – Top Gun is a terrible and unreliable. They cancelled the moving one day before moving date. This has caused inconvenience and problems. I was able to secure the booking with a different company for the same date but different time, this caused problem as I had to inform my manager to organise so that my work could be completed my someone else. Stay away from Top Gun unless you want to experience problems with moving.

One star is too much – We booked them for 2 jobs. They didn't turn up for either. They didn't give any notification that they weren't attending. We received no apology and no legitimate explanation. When we requested our deposits back, we received no communication from them. We are still waiting for refunds.

Scam removal business - stay away at all costs – I had a move booked in but they did not show up even after having assurances a day before moving. The sales people are nice just to get your deposit but the service stops there. Now we are trying to get our deposit back but you can’t get anyone to correspond. Will be taking this to the ACCC. Beware of the difference in reviews between what’s on their website and what’s on Product review.

I had a dog transport and a car transport booked and had to leave the property. I called again and asked if they could do the move today at 1130. They said yes and sms a confirmation. I went back to Melbourne this morning. I called [Name Removed] the manager at 1030 and he assured me everything was fine. At 1145 I called again and was told they could not do the move due to technical difficulties - I had moved half my belongings out onto the street by this point.

I have called and asked for my deposit three times and been hung up on. I have also requested in writing.

I intend to file a civil suit in the Vic Magistrates Court and file a comply with Consumer Affairs.
