Low level of service and diagnosis
Re Grand Motors Toyota Southport: I had my car checked for a voltage fluctuation. They couldn’t find the actual reason for the fluctuation, which just started 5 days ago before changing the old battery. They didn’t check cables, 12V outlets, nor even the fuse box. The report contained just 2/3 short sentences without meaningful information.
Also in the past, I paid for cleaning on two occasions while serving the car previously, just to find out that had dust everywhere when collecting the car.
The level of service is definitely poor, they d...Read more
on’t try to provide any value for money, just the minimum. I believe it’s time to change the dealer for service. They don’t consider that customers pay a premium for going to the authorized dealer. They just don’t care.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

This is my first and, most likely, my last Toyota
I have bought a Toyota Corolla on March, 2020 at Waverley Toyota.
The dealer, as usual, was very nice selling me the car and offered me a lot of ad ups, like 3 years warranty, Fixed Price Service ($249.00)...
On 19th of May 2020, My first disappointment came just two months later when I realized that the car was due for servicing. Every 6 months you have to service the car, otherwise you will lost the warranty. I had done just a few km. No need for servicing at all. I tried to convince the dealer, with no success.
When I took the car for servic...Read more

Pathetic !!
Got a major service done on the car at downtown Toyota morningside which took all day as it was a major service and nearly $1000, went to pick it up at the time we where told the young lady said " o no I tried calling you and then texted you to say they where running 30 mins late" she hadn't at all and was lying so came back at the time she said and no paperwork so she went and asked and came back and said it was out on a road test, so we went outside and u can stand at the side of the building and look in so I did and there's my car on a hoist...Read more
still bonnet up and macanic working on it, she was very happy to just keep lying to our faces so that made me wonder what else they might be lying about another 30 minutes went by and I was getting unhappy, but finally it was ready and they took the money very fast, got it home and looked at the service sheet and before I dropped it in I'd marked the tyres with half colours to make sure they did a rotation, it said they rotated the wheels but hadn't at all, what a bunch of dishonest ppl there, DO NOT take your car there!!, I wouldn't take my dog now, so at the end they seem to take ya money but don't finish a service on it so they can get more cars through. DOWNTOWN TOYOTA IS A DISHONEST CAR DEALER SO AVOID!!!!!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Ray 4 Delivery delays
Ordered a Rav 4 hybrid in September 2020 on expectation delivery would about 12 weeks. Now not expected until end Feb (more than 22 weeks to deliver). Would have looked at other options if I had been made aware delivery could be delayed for such a long time.

Safety Concern Toyota Kluger
When opening the rear door of a 2018 Kluger, something went wrong with the hydraulics and the rear window burst and glass forced under the spoiler causing considerable damage as the door continued to rise. Despite having witnesses to attest to the fact there was nothing in the boot or on the roof to impede the door, Toyota refused to honour the warranty, claiming 'some force' must have hit the rear window. After an extremely frustrating month of contacting Toyota, it is hard to believe that Toyota would not do everything possible, (at least con...Read more
tact witnesses) to investigate fully , something that is potentially an enormous safety issue and possible manufacturing defect. From the outset of what was a rather traumatic event I found the Toyota (staff at Grand Toyota Clarkson) to be dismissive and implied that "I must be at fault'. It took a week before they would even assess the car. I was then told that 'there was no manufacturing defect and it must be an insurance claim'. It made no difference, no matter how many times I tried to explain what happened or asked them to talk to witnesses (there was no force applied to the rear window!) or at least demonstrate to me how I could possibly have caused the damage without a sledgehammer and crow bar. Knowing exactly what happened, having my integrity questioned and having a genuine concern regarding the safety of my vehicle and for all Kluger owners, I contacted the complaints dept. 'Guestexperience'. This was another fiasco and total waste of time. Besides not contacting me as per their stated time frames and a few of the staff speaking so politely, they adopted the same attitude from the outset. ie Toyota would not investigate further than the report they had from their first assessment and they would not honour the warranty. To further erode my confidence in the integrity of Grand Toyota Clarkson, their estimate for the repair was $1307.00 more than it cost for Nick and Alberto Auto Body repairs to fix it. When this issue arises with other owners I will be the first to initiate a class action (as I see there is a similar issue in the USA)Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Thanks to the five star quality service I received from both Nicolas Loveridge and Nathan Hunter, I purchased a 2020 Toyota Camry Ascent Sport Hybrid today. The level of customer service was outstanding. No pressure, just good service. The best I can say is: I will be back. Thanks to you both. Keith S.

Worst after-sales service
After purchasing my new Yaris from Toyota at Port Macquarie I am sorry to say I received the worst after-sales service I have ever experienced in my life.
I wanted to purchase a ZR version of the vehicle, however, one was not available so I discussed certain upgrades that I could have fitted to the Ascent model they had in stock. Amongst which and most important to me was Sat-Navigation with voice recognition.
When I took delivery of the vehicle I discovered that there was no voice recognition. I contacted the service section who advised they...Read more

Great Car!!!
I know we made the good choice in choosing Toyota Rav4 to be our next car... It's released today. It was then I realised that we just not made a good choice but a GREAT ONE! The car is so full of everything. It's really gorgeous!
Everyone in the showroom were so friendly and helpful specially Greg Case, the Business Manager and Timothy Sumasno, Sales Executive. thank you very much!

Toyota Castle Hill
Went to buy a new car at Toyota Castle Hill. Although they could not see me straight away, they rang when they were available and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone we spoke to was friendly, professional and obliging. Both the salesperson and the finance guy knew their product. Would definitely return.

FANTASTIC
The guys at Pakenham Toyota pulled out all stops to make sure the used car I purchased was detailed had a full tank of petrol and looked brand new. Everything they said they would do was done and more . They were extremely helpful and friendly .Especially Karl who could not do enough for us and Bevan who organised the finance . both gentlemen were professional, friendly and made the whole process seamless . Even although we had to wait to see the vehicle due to Covid Restrictions ,they kept in touch and as soon as possible got things moving so that I could have my car . It's fantastic .I can't thank them enough

The car does not exist
We put down a deposit on a hybrid RAV4 a few months ago based on the premise that the car would arrive on 23rd of October and be ready for pick up on the 3rd of November. We were told the ship had be rerouted around Australia... Today I got a phone call from Toyota Scarboro to say they do not know when the car will arrive, and the ship is now in Sudan! How the ship went from being rerouted around Australia to ending up in Sudan is beyond me and sounds odd.
We have since sold our second car based off of the original dates we were given, and wit...Read more
h a baby on the way to say we are disappointed and frustrated is an understatement. We also have a friend in Tasmania who ordered a new RAV4 the same time as us and he has received his vehicle.... The rep we have been dealing with is Tony and our experience as you can probably guess from just reading the above has been very poor and frustrating. They are sitting with our money and promised us a car that doesn't exist.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Why I do not go to Springwood Toyota
I'm from Logan but ashamed to say that I had to drive to Llewelyn Toyota to buy my new Prado as Toyota Springwood new car staff are non existant. I went to the dealership 3 times where not one staff member bothered to help me on a day where there were only 2 other customers in the store. Llewelyn Toyota will give you the service that you deserve, going out of their way to help and give the best deal!

Stewart Toyota Kirrawee Service
Didn’t carry out all the recommended items on the service for Landcruiser 200. They also damaged my paint work and refuse to fix it. They claim that Workshop cameras show vehicle was not damaged. However they won’t show me the footage. The vehicle was separately road tested by 2 people as well. No cameras whilst they were each on a road test!!! Who knows what they did to it? I know the damage was not on vehicle prior. I hand wash my Landcruiser & know every inch of it. I’m very familiar with the flaws it has. So when new damage appears right after Stewart Toyota Kirrawee have had it, can only come to one conclusion. Rod Bressington (general manager) insinuated I was a liar. Great customer service!

Toyota Hinterland Nerang Service Centre
Our Hilux has been serviced for the last two years by this centre and we've received a quality service and professionalism from the staff. The vehicle required a new clutch two months ago and we were also advised two new tyres. The cost was quite high and we negotiated a slightly lower price and gave the go ahead over the phone. Our mistake, we needed to get that in writing! They would not honour the lower price quoted and would release the vehicle only after we paid the full amount. Unfortunately since the new tyres were fitted the alignme...Read more
nt and balance is off and Toyota Hinterland has failed to fix this after a return visit. Be warned, please get all quotes in writing before proceeding with this dealership! They have not honoured the verbal quote, they have passed us around to different people in the service centre and the manager will not speak with me to have this matter reconciled.Similar opinion? Money is more valuable than customers to them
This review is based on Scarboro Toyota. I do not recommend their service. I believe they have a lack of transparency, any of my problems are batted away without a second thought. They could've had a returning customer but decided to take their jobs personally. Please consider going to a different Toyota! When I indicated I had an issue they completely outcasted me for giving feedback, so I won't be going back.

Major ethical issues exist at Phil Gilbert Toyota. Data provided by us on buying car, badly abused by salesman in breech of our privacy with sadly very serious consequences. When complaining no action taken against the individual involved as management only interested in a cover up.

If I put a bull bar on a new land cruiser should it cancel the 5 year warranty? A new land cruiser has developed cracks in the frame of the car near the bull bar and Toyota will not repair it properly. They say they will put a weld on them but it will be very much weakened and there is a chance of the welds cracking. Bundaberg Toyota is saying they don't have to do any repair because the car had a non Toyota accessory. You buy a 4WD to handle off road terrain not to only drive down a highway.

I would never deal with Toyota Bundaberg haven't got a good name for follow up they just take your money and run. I very much support buying locally but definitely not from Bundaberg Toyota or the other dealerships they own in Bundaberg.
