Money is more valuable than customers to them
This review is based on Scarboro Toyota. I do not recommend their service. I believe they have a lack of transparency, any of my problems are batted away without a second thought. They could've had a returning customer but decided to take their jobs personally. Please consider going to a different Toyota! When I indicated I had an issue they completely outcasted me for giving feedback, so I won't be going back.
Warning: Grand Motors Toyota - Very Poor Service and New Car Backup
Warning about purchasing a new car from Grand Motors Toyota at Southport. I purchased a new Toyota Hilux Workmate 2020 model and have had concerns about lack of smooth gear changes (manual gearbox). Service department were very dismissive about my genuine concerns, saying the gearbox is 'normal' despite very difficult gear changes. I escalated the issue to the service manager but communication has been really, really poor. They said they will report the issue to Toyota but will not provide any further information despite my repeated requests...for information. I have rung many times, gone to message, no response. Emails to service department, same no response. Recommend do not buy from this retailer. The measure of a good retailer is surely to deal with genuine issues and fix problems under warranty. The vehicle has done only 1000km, problems have been from new. Since writing this review, the service manager has been in touch and answered questions I raised about their contact with Toyota - this is good but why weren't the questions I asked answered in a few days instead of a couple of weeks? The gearbox issues remain, I still have genuine concerns about how rough and difficult the gear changes can be (very different from smooth changes of the test vehicle I drove) but have been assured I should will now wait and see if things improve. The issue has been logged with Toyota at least.........what that means down the track only time will tell I guess.

Capped Price Servicing does not include the 6 monthly log book services.
When purchasing my Corolla I paid thousands for the extended warranty making very clear to the used car manager that I was interested in the warranty mainly for the capped price servicing, as Corolla was such a reliable car. I've now been told that the log book services, mandatory under the warranty are not included in capped price servicing. Capped price servicing is only for "extra" services. Toyota missed the 110,000km log book service doing an "extra" one instead and the salesman lied about the crack in my windscreen having already been ...repaired. I like the car but would never trust the dealership again. The product disclosure on the extended warranty doesn't define "extra" or "log-book" services or confirm the price you are to be charged which I will be reporting to Consumer Protection.
looking to buy two cars
Spoke to used car gentlemen and was negotiating price told them we had a meeting to attend, however kept going in to see his manager. Talked about the damage already on the vehicle and was told that we would need to pay for this to be fixed and wasn't in in offer. Car was worth 23,800 and they wanted us to pay $150 for part replacement where damage was on the car. Red book shows trade in to be 16-18000
Sorry Toyota Bundaberg will not be getting our business again

Dishonest service, resulting in huge unforseen costs
I was lied to multiple times by a number of people at this dealership. Sneaky business practices added a lot of unforseen costs for a vehicle that I don't want, but am stuck with. I have documented all of this and now have to take it further.
Communication and investigation with Toyota Australia revealed their sleasiness. I spoke about this with the Kalamunda Toyota business manager and was ultimately told they do not intend to remedy their mistakes despite their legal duty.
Additionallly, Toyota Australia's "Certified Pre-Owned" program functions like a scam and actively incentivises dealerships to violate the law.

Untrustworthy Toyota Dealer
I bought an used Toyota Corrolla on 19th June 2020. Transactions over the phone was very good, I have seen the pictures of the car on Stewart Toyota Rockdale website and on Car Sales website, the sales person even sent a few more pictures to show the minor blemishes on paint work. All was prompt and good. I was told that they do a comprehensive check on all their cars prior to selling them and a road worthiness certificate will also be issued. I trusted what was told since this was an authorised Toyota dealer, paid the holding deposit over the ...phone and went to Rockdale on Saturday/20th June 2020 to pick up the car. There was a bit of a rush for deliveries, picked up the car and drove for about 2 KMS, when I noticed the AC was not working. After going home I sent a txt to the sales person and followed up with an email as well no notify of the problem. Monday/22nd June 2020 I was contacted and told that since there is no warranty on the car they are happy to look at the problem but I have to pay to fix it. So much so for a comprehensive check and all the sales talk how they can be trusted. No wonder why people say never trust a used car salesman/woman. Obviously they have not checked the car or worse knew about the problem and lied to me about it. What has happened to people doing the "right thing" anymore. Don't trust what they say, check everything your selves even if it takes an hour or go find a more trustworthy Toyota dealer if there is one. My experience with Stewart Toyota Rockdale was very poor and feel cheated. It's a shame, Toyota is a great car/brand but unfortunately that brand is not supported by trustworthy dealers like these.
Great Car - shocking service at Cardiff Toyota.
After purchasing a new Toyota Prado Kakadu from Cardiff Toyota, I decided to have a genuine bull bar fitted. Unfortunately the incorrect template was used when cutting up the front bumper to fit the bull bar. This meant the bumper bar had to be replaced and sprayed the correct colour. Needless to say I wasn’t happy that my $90 000 vehicle was damaged but was even less impressed when it took Cardiff Toyota four goes to correctly spray the new bumper. Small lumps, like sand, were in the first two attempts, the third had a large drip. They got it...right on the fourth - over 2 weeks later!! I will say that the dealer did supply me with a loaner car while the work was done and two free services in compensation but regardless of this, such incompetence should not happen. In addition, the technician who fitted the caravan brake controller under the bonnet, left metal shavings everywhere. I also asked for a quote on a genuine Toyota dashcam to be fitted and was initially told such a thing did not exist. When I established that it did exist and was compatible with my vehicle (despite being told it wasn’t) I was quoted a price that was over 30% more expensive than another dealer nearby. Needless to say, I have been getting my vehicle serviced elsewhere.
Rude Ageism and unhelpful
I live in Scarborough and bought a new Landcruiser 18 months ago from Melville Toyota because I found them to be friendly, helpful and courteous.
I booked it in today for the 18 month 30k service but on arrival the young girl was rude and I felt like I was an intrusIon in her day.
The distance barriers were up which I applaud and was very happy about as I’m 69 years old and don’t need to become ill.
When she finished the paperwork to do the service she thrust it across the counter and said “sign this”.
I said that she could sign it on my beh...
Great Service experience!
I have been having my Yaris serviced at Scarborough Toyota for many, many years now, and I can say it has improved over that time. I think the crew have done their research on how to make their clients feel they are in good hands. Well done all.
Poor communication and expectations not met
Very poor communication when buying a new car, have had to chase them every step of the way and only after 5 SMS's could I get a final answer on when I can pick up my new car. Bought a new car that was 'in stock' on a Friday and was told it would be ready on the following Monday or Tuesday. Have finally gotten confirmation that it will be this Friday, so 1 week. This was not communicated at the outset and would have bought from a dealership closer to me if I'd known this.
From a customer service point of view, once I'd paid my cash deposit and signed the contracts, I was just shown the door. No one told me anything about the process, who to follow up with, nothing.
Might as well buy online from elsewhere.
They break... don’t take responsibility
The Toyota here At Clovelly Park broke my console while replacing the filter, I didn’t check when I left. Few weeks later I found out and called them they said the would fix. After few months when came for another maintenance, they want to charge me for it. Please check before driving out. Better be paranoid than Toyota screwing us.
Illawarra Toyota Wollongong
Very bad customer service. Waited half an hour post the appt time in vain as no one else would attend to me as the concerned sales rep was busy with someone else. Waste of time and effort. Returned back without even looking at the car.( Illawarra Toyota Wollongong )

Avoid at all costs.
I bought a new Toyota 5.5 years ago, which came with free Toyota roadside assistance. Used that once or twice, was great.
Then I renewed my policy just before 5 years online. Needed to use it urgently during the fires this year. Called Toyota Roadside Assist only to be told my policy had been passed on to 365. No one told me this but OK. Called them, they said they didn't have me on file. Called Toyota back, they were sure I was with 365. Called 365 back, they said I wasn't. By this time I was panicked, so gave up and joined NRMA on the spot, w...

Did the the inspection for the honda jazz on thursday the 9/04/2020 was a cheap car 2009 with 100kms.

On the 15/4/2020 i am so happy to get this car and made a full payment. But in the contract they said is a cheap car so warranty is not included. I'm still ok with it. When i get home i ju...
Bunbury toyota deceitful say anything to make a sale
Would give 0 star if possible deceitful say anything to make a sale. Went bunbury toyota to look at are car we were interested in. When looking at the car the salesman tells us about the car. He flips the sun visor up and says its got 10,000km before its next due. So i said thats good cause i know Toyota's service schedule is 10,000km or 6months so it must of just been done. Asked to take it for a test drive. He says no point taking for a test drive unless your going to buy it. So i felt as if i had to make an offer. The car had a sale sign on ...it with was $53990 and no now price every other car had a now and sale price which had at least $1500 to $2000 off the original price. Took it for test drive got back then went back and forward negotiating a price in which they only took $990. Even when they were meant to have a sale on. They said i was getting a good deal because that was already the sale price. After taking delivery of the car i realised the car hadn't just been serviced like i was told it was done 6 months ago so it was due now. Rang them and the salesman said nothing he could do for me i got $990 off the car so there is no more profit in it for them. On further use of the car i found the back floor of the car had a big hole cut out of it. It was hidden with black tape to cover the hole but once u lent on the corner it collapsed in. Call then up again and asked about the hole was told by the salesman he would look into it for me. A few days pass no call so i left a review on their web page. Go a phone call the next day basically say i was lying about everything and they wouldn't fix anything. Even with the ad for the car stating the car was in showroom condition. The hole in the floor was covered up was lied to about the service and the drivers seat had a cigarette burn in it. Not showroom condition to me. Contacted accc and they agreed i had been deceived and contacted them but they cant make them do anything can only advise them of the wrong. I am now talking with a lawyer to sue for payment/ replacement of these items or a contract cancellation plus stamp duty plus loan fees. Do not purchase any car or even service your car with bunbury toyota read all the bad reviews first it will save u heaps of money and stress. They all state being mislead or bad service quality and salesman
Melting Dashboard, Toyota Doesn’t care
My Camry’s Dashboard is melting every time i park under direct sun light, after contacting Toyota on multiple occasions, They refused to fix it, but happy to replace it if I pay $1200 bill. It’s dangerous to drive the car as glare block the driver’s view. Even Toyota accept its A manufacturing fault but won’t fix it for safety of their customer. In simple words i have been told we don’t care.
Terrible Service and crap car
Fuel pump faulty took it in to get repaired they said it was a freak incident...1 in a million...they didnt even know about the recall that Toyota had put out.
A rep at Toyota said that they knew about recall early March but i never recieved a letter or email informing me about it. My car broke down while i was driving 110km in the Hume Hwy and had to get it towed back 89km to home.
When i asked Toyota why they didnt inform me about the recall they said we didnt send it out yet...and not to worry because your car already failed and brushed it...
Questions & Answers
Major ethical issues exist at Phil Gilbert Toyota. Data provided by us on buying car, badly abused by salesman in breech of our privacy with sadly very serious consequences. When complaining no action taken against the individual involved as management only interested in a cover up.
The tow hitch on our three year old Toyota 79 series has sheared a bolt and the rest are loose We’re towing a sun land patriot and iam not happy with the reponsed we received after we had it serviced
If I put a bull bar on a new land cruiser should it cancel the 5 year warranty? A new land cruiser has developed cracks in the frame of the car near the bull bar and Toyota will not repair it properly. They say they will put a weld on them but it will be very much weakened and there is a chance of the welds cracking. Bundaberg Toyota is saying they don't have to do any repair because the car had a non Toyota accessory. You buy a 4WD to handle off road terrain not to only drive down a highway.
