Don't waste your time.
Almost impossible to get through to this place. People at the call centre were nice and tried to put my calls through to the Harbourtown shop and none ever picked up. So they sent emails for someone to get back to me. Once again never returned. 3 times this happened. On my fourth call someone finally picked up at the shop, dismissive disinterested individual who supposedly made a booking for me for the following week. I showed up and surprise surprise no booking. I'm so angry and if I hadn't already paid for my tyres (over $1000) I would defin...

Toyota won't fix known paint defect
My Toyota Carolla has a known paint defect which is causing all paint and primer to peel from panels. Got my car assessed as per their instructions and upon receiving the quote they said they would only cover 50% meaning I would have to pay $4000 out of my own pocket to repair or the car will rust. This is how Toyota treats their customers!
Terrible Service - They almost destroyed my Car
I booked the service with Clintons Toyota Campbelltown on 19th of April 2022, specifically for faulty battery which was still under Toyota Warranty.
- Technically incompetent
- Didn't do the work what I requested for. They didn't know that battery is under warranty
- They suppose to deliver the card 3:30 PM on 19th Apr. However it end up with next day as they didn't address the battery issue
- They gave me a quote for $900 to fix an issue with driver side window motor change. But that is not an issue at all. It was fixed after battery change...

Oh what a crap feeling
If you want to see Toyota business model failing, shop from Phil Gilbert Toyota. When you study management you study about how Toyota business model changed the performance of car production by increasing efficiency. But at Phil Gilbert somehow it is not visible. And worst of all they don’t have any integrity as well and staff don’t hesitate even in lying to you. I was assured that my GXL prado will be at my home by end of March 2022. But I didn’t heard anything till 28th March 2022 . On 28th March received text from Phil Gilbert representative...
Read more that my car is in transit to Qld( 1st Lie). I was really happy that I will have car ontime. But on 4th April 2022, I received another message stating that sorry car can’t be transported because extra light which I requested are not compatible to Toyota bull bar( 2nd Lie) . I was really disappointed and asked that representative to send me details of her manager so that I can put official complain . She send me her manager details whom I send out big email on 4th April 2022. I also asked Phil Gilbert representative on 4th April that please transport that car with out extra light we will deal with it later. But nothing got done. I received message back from Manager on 14th April to reach out to him on his mobile number. I called him and told him how urgently I need that car. On that day he told me not only extra light but also bull bar for my Toyota is not available (3rd Lie). I expected everything and requested him to please send that car without bull Bar and lights . He told me that he will send me some pictures (which I am still waiting) to reassure that car is at shop. He also told me that today (14th April) due to Easter break car can’t be transported but will make sure it gets delivered next week asap. And now today 19th April I am told that car will get transported by 22nd April. So overall Phil Gilbert only represents lie and really poor customer experience. It will not give you ‘ Oh what a feeling ‘ experience. It gives you ‘ oh what a crap feeling ‘. Now as you can read it is almost 15 days with my car available at the showroom ( as per Phil Gilbert representative) but they haven’t yet transported it. If Toyota outlets will perform at this pace not sure how efficient there business model will. It is not about delay in parts etc it is pure case of negligence and unprofessional management at Toyota Phil Gilbert . Hopefully Toyota Australia will take a note about it and do something. And I wish I could click less than 1 starToyota? Oh, what a BAD FEELING it has given me!
I never like to give a bad review but my latest experience with Toyota has given me a BAD FEELING of regrets that I bought a Toyota KLUGER in January 2020 from Canning Vale. Who would check underneath a new car when taking delivery? I didn't. Soon after, I noticed rust on the car exhaust. I reported it when I sent the car back for the first service....but despite subsequent complaints, nothing was done to it. NOTHING was mentioned too in the service invoices about the several complaints of the rusty exhaust....and it appears the technician was ...
Read morealso never instructed to inspect and respond to my complaint about the rust. Why not? Thus far, all I got were emails saying that they are investigating and a "case number". Up-to-date, Toyota have still NOT stated that it isn't rust. If it isn't, why not say so, in writing??? After almost 2 months, Toyota hasn't still given an answer to my complaint about the RUST ON THE EXHAUST. That's the worse service I have ever got since buying a new car some 50 odd years ago. Toyota was my first car....definitely my LAST! Bad feeling!Toyota link Multimedia screen on toyota vehicles don't display apps fuel finder, destination download, local search
I write to ask how many toyota owners are very unhappy with the level of customer service received by Toyota and Toyota Link department. In 2019 a mandatory update took away from our mutimedia screens the apps for LOCAL SEARCH, FUEL FINDER DESTINATION DOWNLOAD etc . The use of the apps served purpose and supplied information in safe legal context whilst driving. Toyota link received lots of calls from unhappy owners and promised to do something about it. They have done nothing about it except put it all on your mobile phone screen instead ...
Read more. That's illegal to drive and view my phone Toyota. Who does this company think they are supply our vehicles with these features fitted then take it away. Promise to do something about apps and no change has occurred to date 20th march 2022. Local search app was great you could push it type anything on keypad like bakery and would give you a list of all businesses by name and location you could even use destination download link to help you find it. NOW TOYOTA SAYS THAT IF YOU HAVE CAR THAT DOES NOT HAVE SAT NAV FITTED THATS THE REASON - THAT IS NOT TRUE. We all know as owners exactly what these buttons do and how they worked perfectly as per the function for there purpose. Vehicles with sat nav fitted were not effected in this 2019 update at all . I would like to ask is there any owners out there who don't have sat nav fitted to there cars still have these apps featured on there multimedia screen and they still function. I have also noticed via carsales website vehicles that are for sale and using gallery photos display the pics with these features still displayed on there multimedia screen these photos attached were taken in late 2021. Please note the attach pics are attach for display purpose only. Is there any owners who have had the issue rectified and put back. Toyota need to rectify this issue or supply alternative process to give us a functioning detailed screen.- 5 reviews

Werribee Toyota - Services sucks
I just got my Camry serviced from Werribee Toyota from Old Geelong Road Vic. Firstly, on reaching there I was told that I've a 215K KM service booked and the price is going to be $470. I was shocked and asked my car odomoter is barely 129K KM and you are trying to do a service for 215K just to make money - this can't be right. The person goes back and comes in few seconds and says.. oh sorry it was a mistake and it's for 165K KM and the price is $380. Still not satisfied, but didn't have much option so went ahead. The person didn't even bother ...
Read moreto ask if there is any issue etc, just took the keys and said you'll get a complimentary wash... and I was like ok sure. Anyways, I go to pick the car and there is another person and he says oh your car is serviced for 215K KM and we've done an exhaustive list of top-up's including wheel rotation and as usual we've given a complimentary wash. Now comes the fun part, the 215K KM was charged at $380 and not $470, so that itself proved that they are just here to mint money in the name of 'TOYOTA' service. I checked the car, and there was no wash.. when I asked, he said no it has gone through the automated car wash and since it's standing for a while, you see dust on it. I was in no mood to argue and to be honest give a rat ass to their free service. Reached home and realised the rear two tyres were not even rotated. I am fairly confident of the rear two tyres as both of them had a peculiar scar on them since ages and I knew about. All this just makes me think that this Toyota service centre is a total rip off. Will never ever go there again, even if it means that I need to get the car serviced by a non-toyota service centre.- 2 reviews

The BEST car deal@Werribee Toyota! Excellent salesperson called Viney!
Werribee Toyota never fails to offer the best customer service, from the front desk, salesperson and finance specialists.
I am really happy that I returned to Werribee Toyota to buy my new Camry, for the third time over the years. My trading in experience was nice and easy, as I was looked after by the professional salesperson VINEY that was extremely kind in offering me the best available car I was looking for, the best deal, plenty of information, and *especially without being pushy* which I find a strong feature of a great car dealer. While...

Do not buy a used car from here!
Bought late model second hand vehicle, was sold a warranty that was promised to be the best warranty money can buy! Engine in car overheated and damaged engine a month after purchase now the warranty company will not cover!
Dealer ship is giving me run around on repair also , it has been a month and car haven’t been touched … Buyer beware!

Dont deal with Scarboro Toyota
I was trying to buy a used vehicle from them and it seemed to be progressing well until I got the third party inspection report.
Despite the fact the vehicle has supposedly been serviced the oil was black and level low, the tyres were unevenly worn, wheels not aligned, clutch fluid old and dirty, etc
There were also some fairly major aesthetic and presentation issues that were not made clear to me in phone conversations or the online ad.
They also tried to sell me a "nationwide extended Toyota warranty" on a 25 year old vehicle which my local d...

Be aware of Scarborough Toyota dealer
I had bought suzuki vitara 2019 model about 6 months ago, with Turbo badge on it, but only realised today that it's not a Turbo model, when received a call from suzuki service centre. Paid about $25000. I could have bought new car for fo $30,000 new with 2 year more warranty and latest features. Very dishonest of Scarborough Toyota . They won't give me any money back for charging moreover swap for Turbomodel. Now, they suggest me that I talk to department of commerce on this issue. I suggest, don't trust any sales person...do your diligence, research.

Terrible after sales
I bought an Aurion second hand that was two years old. Paid well above market price for them to do window tinting. Terrible after sales service. Refused to honor life time warranty on window tinting which bubbled within three years. Said the company that tints went out of business so it wasn't their problem. Didn't reply after being contacted to resolve issues. Failed to update their database after selling the car to me which made life difficult as their records repeatedly had the previous owner as contact. Would not reccomend shopping there, the care factor ends as soon as you drive out.

Thanks for your honest review Joshua
I often read reviews on this site. I think when they are over glowing reports it's pretty obvious that staff of the organisation has written them.
I have had my 2021 RAV 4 on order since June 2021. I was offered the 2022 model, but now been told I go to the bottom of the list, it will cost more, and they will need to do another valuation on my car. Great!!
Been loyal and waited, but pretty sure I'm now going to be screwed over.
Also, a friend of mine said a mechanic has recently warned her off the RAV 4 hybrid stating after 8-10 years customers will need to fork out $8,000 for a new battery. Don't bother asking customer experience about this, apparently they don't know about it.
Why isn't this in any of their advertising?

Very happy with service given to me by Charlie Gu.
I bought a new car from Toyota at Castle Hill and was looked after by Charlie Gu. I had a very pleasant experience as Charlie was not forceful in his manner which really mattered to me. It was a real pleasure to deal with him. Thank you for the great service Charlie.
Questions & Answers
In my earlier message it says the apps are no longer available because your car does have sat nat fitted. It should because your car DOES not have sat nav fitted. Vehicles fitted with sat nav it's my understanding disd not experience a issue. But vehicles that don't have sat nav are effected. And this is problem we all know as owners via our mobile phone connected to Toyota link these apps were displayed on our multimedia screens and when pushed worked perfectly fine with Toyota link system. Toyota link had lots of complaints about this and promised to do something about it they have done nothing.. instead just put in on phone display big deal that's illegal for me to view my phone whilst driving put it back on screen where it once was or give every owner whose effected a functioning updated screen retro fitted to our cars model.
I write to ask is there anybody who purchased a Toyota vehicle that was fitted with a multimedia screen that had following apps attached on there screen that could be pushed and give relevant information through toyota link system of your mobile phone been connected to car system.
The apps were
Local search .. when pushed a keep pad like a computer screen would allow you type anything e.g bakery and using your phone would give a list in screen of all bakeries in your location with details of location.
Fuel finder.. by pushing button would give you displayed info on car screen.
Toyota link .. image of person in red top black hair
Destination download.. you could put a address in or any other information from fuel finder, local search would show you the relevant info on car screen
There maybe others I have overlooked. Anyway owners were effected by this in mandatory update in 2019. Whereby they were prompted to push update and unaware that they will lose this apps on car screen since then. When you contact toyota they say it's because your car does have sat nav fitted it's not true. We all know these buttons functioned with our cars via the mobile phone link. Now they only have these links on our phones. What good is it there we want those apps we lost back. Who does this company think they have the right to buy these cars with a product then take it away. I have also found and ask is there any owners who still have the apps on the multifunction screen that never did update in 2019 and they still function and work if so let us all know. I have reviewed carsales website and seen vehicles from 2017 and 2019 who still have these apps displayed on there multimedia screens so what's going on Toyota.
Major ethical issues exist at Phil Gilbert Toyota. Data provided by us on buying car, badly abused by salesman in breech of our privacy with sadly very serious consequences. When complaining no action taken against the individual involved as management only interested in a cover up.
