Great service and staff prepared to step outside the norm at Hervey Bay. Bought a replacement head for my line trimmer. Being an old fella I couldn’t get the old one off the machine. Those young fellas with “big guns” got the old one off and even fitted the newie. Couldn’t get better service anywhere.

Tradetools use to sell Trade quality tools, now they just sell anything that makes the most profit margin even if it does not work or up to trade standards leading to expensive errors on a job site. despite the quality issues and expensive mistakes made from using poor quality tools that offer no precision or reliability. Was looking for a trade quality tool but they only had amateur tools for what I was looking - drill bit depth stop made out of plastic.

Ordered a Makita angle grinder and diamond disc for a job. The grinder came after a week, cool, but alas no disc? Sent an email on their customer service website next day asking for them to clarify what was happening, still not heard anything back a day later? Pretty poor customer service unfortunately.

Major repair on water blaster that was well outside the warranty period – I want to give the Capalaba store a big thank you for the way I was treated with repairing a inherent defect in my Renegade 4000psi-15l Water Blaster that was well outside of the Warranty Period. The unit was 3 years old but only had 16 hours on the meter. Due to the unusual nature of damage in the water pump the whole pump and gear box assembly was replaced at no cost to me and without any haggling. Great service

Run from this company and go elsewhere – Purchased a Renegade 13hp Chipper/mulcher on 30/3/24 used once and caught fire. I am a woman in my 60s and requested they collect it and either repair or replace it. They sent a staff member to my home to check what I was using it for and he advised that I had use it correctly and the foliage I was using it for was reasonable for the machine.… Read more

They refused to collect it and forced me to lift in onto a trailer myself and return it to their Archerfield store. They refused to repair or replace advising that if they replaced it, the same thing would happen again. The manager Sam would not even speak with me or my brother who phoned the store but instead threw their poor staff under the bus and made poor Freddy deal with the issues. Extremely poor service, poor management and by their own admission, useless products. (will just happen again). Manager would not even speak with customer when I attended the store. Brother very disappointed as well. If you know your products are going to catch fire, why sell them? Disgusting that you knowingly sell a product not fit for purpose. As I nurse I can assure you that if I treated patients how this company treats their female customers with no care or concern, respect or common decency, I'd have a lot of dead patients. Excellent Customer Service – I recently purchased a Tool chest from Trade tools. The item arrived quickly albeit severly damaged. I contacted trade tools on the day of receipt. A few days later i received a replacement. Thank you for your outstanding customer service. I will be back.

Inspires Confidence – In late 2020 I was setting up my current workshop, and bought two vices from TradeTools. A few days ago I found to my surprise that the spring on the quick release woodworking vice had failed, making the vice more or less useless. I gave TradeTools a call, receiving a very positive response and a replacement spring is now on its way, free of charge. One couldn't ask for better! Thanks guys

be warned, great if no problems, but if something goes wrong they won’t help at all, even if they caused it (eg sent you broken goods).

they won't fit my hammer. He then spent about 15 minutes on his computer hunting down the right ones. The only place that had them was an overseas supplier. I asked how long will they take to get here and how much. He says "No more than $20 and should be here in a week." He was right. They turned up a week later and exactly $20. I will be shopping there again!

Be careful (well resolved with good customer service) – Be careful with buying via profoma invoice, they charged 2x delivery fees for 1 item and I didn't realise till after I paid. Trade tools initiated a refund for the delivery fees incurred, the issue was well resolved)

Ordered 6 items on the 31/07 and have only received 5 . I have contacted the company several times and even got told it was awaiting collection at my post office when tracking shows even now that it is still in Adelaide . Customer service is nonexistent in this company .

and all is well, that is until yesterday where I went to use the 92mm. Won’t fit on the spindle as the thread is dud. Won’t fit on my old spindle for the same reason. Old hole saw will fit on the new spindle and the old spindle as well. Don’t you hate it when you buy a piece of kit, to sit on the shelf so it can be use on the next job and, when it doesn’t work, waste time going back to the yard to fined the old kit and get the job done? Went to the shop the same day and spoke to the likable Jarrad who agreed the 92mm hole saw cutter’s thread was damaged and not able to be screwed onto the spindle. He went to the shelve and picked up a new one which screwed straight onto the spindle and he said “here you go”. Sweet I thought. Then he said “Do you have a receipt? I said “No mate it’s on your system” And this is when it got rather silly, he said “without a receipt, I can’t do it”, “what I can do is sell you a replacement at a discount”. What would you say? So, what I think this Company sell tools that may or may not work and then try and charge again for one that may or may not work. Well, that appears to me to be my experience.

tires. Still looks like new and I was a bit surprised the piston seemed to labour and seize after such a short working life that would've been less than 15 hours. Thought I'd do the right thing and put a review online saying the same about my experience. As yet still not published on their site, then I looked at their other products. Cannot find a review under 4 stars, and even those are still glowing about the product. Have a closer look at all the 5 star reviews and you can find 3 reviews from the same reviewer, claiming to be in 3 different occupations and gushing about how good the product is. Then have a look at the Google reviews, lots of short glowing 5 star reviews and a lot with no identity. I'm sure the brand name products they stock are good, the staff are knowledgeable, and I've had no problem with other purchases. Just make your own judgement about the Trade Tools own brand stuff because I don't think you'll find and honest review.

Use a different courier – This review is feedback on your choice of delivery service more than anything. I actually still haven’t received my product because of StarTrack. Driver tried to deliver to wrong address apparently when I was home all day. Called customer support and gave permission to drop off unattended. than 60km away from where I live. Called them again, still not here and I honestly don’t believe it will ever arrive. I think you should look at using a different courier. Check their reviews and you’ll see I’m far from alone.

Do your research – So if you want 3 years warranty shop at trade tools if your happy with 1 year go on Amazon and you will save significant amount with some brand tools example Makita rapid charger is $120 and is 79 on Amazon no point paying more for the same product. Do your research these guys bump the prices up heaps you can source tools elsewhere for cheaper… Read more

tradetools marks up everything to ensure profits therefore your not getting the best deal as they mark up heaps they will make you feel like it's the best deal and for some things it is otherthings definelty not. All I'm saying is if your going to spend 4 grand on power tools trade tools may not be the best place to go anymore. They made 10million last year so they definelty are charging a bit more for things.

Time wasters – Waste of time. No dispatch after two weeks. Trade tools cancelled the order after two weeks. Said there were logistical issues. My guess is they misquoted the freight and didn’t want to cop the extra so they passed on the inconvenience to me.

Online Sloooooooooooow, quicker to buy from store or elsewhere – Ordered 22/6/24, all items in stock, could not find order in order history, asked for order to be added to order history, then the order date changed from Last FY to 1/7/24 This FY. from TradeTools that order accepted. PayPal sent me confirmation that payment sent 22/6/24 not 1/7/24 as TT insisted. Did not appreciate getting wrong information. Got Email stating all parts in and order being prepared for a Friday then get an apology Saturday saying not all parts in. Chase it up next business day and still days off being sent.. Finally delivered 11/7, courier got it here in 1 day, that was excellent of them. So 18 days to get an order together I would consider a tad slow. I'm sure there are many factors that contribute to this delay but from a customers' perspective it would have been a lot quicker to go to the local store. I did ask if it would have been quicker to change the destination to the local store and pick it up from there, but apparently that would have made everything more complicated. I think you need to streamline the process. That's my rant,

have the product and b; they have no way of getting it as it has been 'discontinued'. Honestly highly disappointing coming from a company that raves about their excellent customer service and values on there on-hold music on the phone. the most disappointing and infuriating point about this whole ordeal is that the exact same product that comes in a kit is still to this day is marked as available, despite them having told me its not and they couldn't send me the product from that kit either. and not only that the horrible customer service coming from the team member that i spoke to could not have cared less that i had just spent 5 weeks pay and had been waiting over two weeks and all they could offer was my money back. no deal for another item, no price match, no store credit, and absolutely no offer for any kind of sweetener for my hours of wasted time trying to communicate with them. They could not care less, they would rather send me away. too further the harm cause by this company i have now miss all of the EOFY deals that i had intended to use on this product, so now my time is wasted i have lost the chance to buy from anyone else for a decent price.

I have recieved my refund and did send a email to them asking the same question on this . You either have the product or you don’t , and should honor your advertised product I recieved no reply . Unfortunately I could no be confident in placing a order with this company again.
