Contacted customer service and asked to cancel an order immediately after placing it, due to an issue with the website meaning a discount voucher was not applied. The customer service rep sent me around in circles via live chat, and then in emails, before finally saying it would take up to 2 weeks to process the refund request. It took the full… Read more

two weeks before the refund was approved, and then I found it could not be refunded through my original payment method, and instead had to provide my bank account details. The refund was proceed though SWIFT (never heard of it before) which cost $8 in fees. This was deducted from the refund amount. Not acceptable. To take so long to process the request, and then not even provide a refund method that ensures I get the payment in full.

Racist manager – The manager at Typo Wagga Wagga is racist! This white woman was being racist towards an aboriginal woman and saying the N word to her employee who looked EXTREMELY uncomfortable. This is not okay, my complaints have been ignored, I think they are protecting this racist.

Don’t get the laptop and phone magnet – This product is terrible I even took my phone case off and the magnet still doesn’t work! It falls off after 5 seconds! But it’s a rlly cute design!

Expensive wireless phone charging stand that is so made cheap – Brought the black wireless charger stand and the first time it wouldn’t charge properly took it back and got second one worked fine for 2 was and now doesn’t work and the lead always falls out and doesn’t sit in properly. Not worth 50 dollars when I can get good ones for half the price.

A cheap, but great alternative – So, i was looking for a cheaper alternative to those awfully overpriced personalised phone cases with your initials on them. I then looked at the type metallic letters they have, they were like $7 each, maximum at the time and i stuck them on my phone case, hoping for the best, expecting them to last 30 seconds and get lost somewhere. after almost 7 months of having them attached to my phone, i struggled to peel them off to replace my cover. These things must be stuck on my some witchcraft because i THRASHED my case around (case is an otterbox) and they STILL stuck. These letters survived countless drops, rolls from ambulances, children fingerprints and much more.

Understandably they were scratched considerably, but for what i paid for them, 100% ok with that. I got the rose gold ones and you could only ever see the scratches in harsh lighting (pic attached).

If you want a semi decent alternative to those phone cases, these letters are a fantastic choice.

Why do they put inappropriate language on kids stationery? – Pretty disgusted.. i made a quick trip to Typo to get a gift for a 9 year old in France only to get home and realise what was on the back of the notebook. This is useless and I'll have to go elsewhere to find something else. Find it hard to understand why they need swearing on kids note books

Harry Potter thermal mug – The Gryffindor mug I got for my birthday is amazing! The lions turn red after I put my boiling water and it's the best thing ever. But it's not microwave-safe, so a bit inconvenient. But overall a really great mug. Thanks Typo!

Atrocious customer service – I purchased a bag from this company at Christmas and used it only a few times. The straps have all frayed and a big hole appeared in the bag. but didn’t care when I said I have disabilities and had gone on the train when I did visit. Aside from the fact that it would cost me a lot of money to travel to take it back. I attempted to make a complaint which wasn’t dealt with and when I asked for head office details due to then being in breach of contract for selling a bag not fit for purpose they refused to give me these details saying they cannot give out internal contact details! Avoid this company like the plague their customer service is shocking. Judging by the reviews I am not alone.

[Name Removed] store manager at narellan nsw, is disgustingly rude – THE STORE MANAGE AT NARELLAN NSW - [Name Removed]- SUCKS!!! she is rude, obnoxious, and talks over her customers. In my case not once but twice, screamed down the phone at me. she advised me that the fact that the ceramic item broke despite the bag breaking was "NOT HER PROBLEM" even after being shows the broken bag. the item was not even wrapped. I highly doubt she even spoke to the area manager. this will also come out in the wash

Great customer service – I ordered 4 The grinch water bottles and The grinch cookie jar. Was very happy with my purchases and found the staff at Typo Miranda extremely helpful. As they ordered these items for me and organized delivery for me as sold out in store. Love shopping at Typo, Thankyou.

Arcade Games – Bought two Arcade Games (they weren't cheap!) but both were faulty. Was excited to gift to my kids for Easter but #FAIL by Typo. One item faulty is one thing, but to have both be faulty means these are just rubbish. Why choose to damage your brand by supplying such low-end and unreliable products? Refunds are all well and good, but is disappointing and inconveniencing your customers worth it?

Don’t buy mystery box – Bought the $70 mystery box, the only decent thing in it was a mug but the handle came broken. The contents are definitely not worth $70, let alone the “RRP of $106”.

Typo earbuds with charging cradle – They worked fine for a couple of months and now, even though they say they’re connected, they aren’t. I’ve only ever used them with one device. Absolute waste of money.

Typo is worth it – Typo has always been a highlight of my day whenever I go shopping and no matter what season or year it is; it always been a treat with their notebooks, accessories and even their homewares from time to time. I highly recommend this store not just for its designs but also for its really great quality

GREAT STORE I LOVE IT ❤️ – This store is such a great store. The layout of the store is really easy to find stuff in and I just love it!! Typo shower speaker – I brought the Typi shower speaker the other day, connects easy enough but the volume is terrible. My phone played louder than the speaker did with the phones volume set to max. There is no volume control on the speaker. unhappy

This is great! – I have been looking for a bag that isn't on the really expensive side, so i found typo and ordered the Yellow Fundamental backpack. The quality is really good, it fits all the things i need to fit into it. Really recommend, if looking for a cheaper backpack with good quality!!!

Returns, should state MUST HAVE BARCODE – If you have a return from online, you MUST have a barcode, not just a receipt or email. The barcode is on the sticker label that come inside the delivery box....who knew!! So two trips for a $5 item...

Terrible – Waste of money can't hear it in the shower at all worst speaker I have ever brought wouldn't recommend this product to anyone! Looks cute but sound volume is terrible! Regret buying this speaker so much

Ok please read – Many people say that it’s kids stationary. this shop is intended for buyers over 15!! It’s not for kids!! I don’t know how dumb you need to be to think it’s a kids shop. But otherwise it’s fine. The double EarPods (with the cord ;>) have terrible sound. It sounds like it’s recorded on a 1930s jukebox!

Crap headphones – I've had different brands before that worked way easier. The on button must be broken because they'll charge but they won't turn on. You can buy better quality for cheaper at JB.

Rip off – I looked online and the pencil case that I looked at was $7.50 I went to buy it at the site in Wagga on the 5/2/2020so I bought the pencil case and went back in and asked why it was so expensive it is half price he said it is only half price online so when I got home I looked up and it said that it was on sale online and in store so typo ripped me off 2nd time in 7 days I won’t be back staff are so rude

Typo Tws Earbuds – Wife ordered 2 of there new wireless ear buds for her and our Daughter and they are JUNK. 1.5 hrs use OMG JUNK she didn't even get 1 hour our of the set that does work and everytime you put them back in the case they wont since to your phone so you have to go through the whole Bluetooth set up again junk don't but these.

Extremely Disappointing – Bought one of the bath bombs they had on sale, very excited for a lovely and relaxing bath after a long day. Genuinely the most depressing and miserable (albeit hilarious) bath bomb I have ever seen. A complete joke, even for the price point.

I presented in store and I was served by a staff at the branch in Islington named [name removed]- till receipt can also be included for reference - and I was informed that my order had been returned as I had not presented within two weeks of notification that my order was ready for collection in store. However this does not reference back to the previous email I had received asking me to collect my order in store before the 03/01/2020, I have not received any email informing me that my order had been returned, nor has a refund been made to the bank account that I used to purchase the products. No reference was given, nor was a customer service number given in order to chase up on my missing order. The staff member serving me was unhelpful and unable to provide me to any specifics unto whether a refund was going to be made, what the actual policy is regarding how long you hold products in store after delivery, and was generally unhelpful and useless in every regard with no transparency. This is appaling customer service and I am disgusted to have purchased products from such an unreliable source which I will definitely not be revisiting in the near future. For the moment, I would like to know where exactly my order has gone, and I would like a full refund as no one has contacted me regarding it. I have paid the full amount, not had any products, and am still waiting for a response as to how I am getting anything back. Thank you. I can attach documentation if necessary under attachments but I believe you can work on the reference numbers that I have provided if you have any functioning IT systems at all.
