Worst shutter company to deal with! – This company is Absolutely terrible to deal with. DO NOT do business with them, I was promised my shutters in 6 to 8 weeks it took them nearly 17 weeks, the installer came out alone and I had to spend half a day up on a ladder helping the installer FIT the shutters as he needed a second set of hands to hold them. with the WRONG color (wasn't out by a huge amount was still grey, but the wrong grey) after all this I tried to come to a compromise with them as obviously I wished to have the shutters either re done in the right color to match everything else or some sort of discount for the much around, they offered a few hundred dollars off a $17,000 job. When I said that wasn't acceptable I wanted them to do something better they assumed I was trying to dodge the bill, were extremely rude and unprofessional, emailed me back and said they are removing the good will discount of a few hundred and if I didn't pay in 24 hours they would add a near $1800 late fee, I responded to them and said that wasn't acceptable I'm waiting for the general manager to come up with a fair middle ground instead I got send a new invoice with the $1800 fee added and the next morning was forwarded to E Collect a debt collection agency they use. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from what looks to be a good company. I will be pursuing this further, but in my honest opinion I would steer clear of these people. I have had shutters done on my two other houses and never had any issues like this before. I have also worked in the sales and building industry for well over a decade and have never seen a company treat its customers like this. They took $5400 deposit so they have some of the money and they will not come to a fair arrangement. To put it into perspective from memory I was only asking for approx another $1000 off the price of the total job to make it fair and Instead this is how I get treated. I had a horrible experience – They wouldn't come out to measure up or show me the product in person until I gave them a deposit based on a computer generated quote from photos I sent of my windows. After talking with the subcontractor they sent out I find out that their product would sit in an unacceptable manner on some of my windows, I’d have to have power boxes to sit on the external walls and require conduit to be run along the outside of my house, proceeding with the install would result in the devaluation of my property and subsequently financial damages at the time of selling my property. This impart was due to the design of my house having some windows that are near flush at the top.

To add insult to injury, I haven 't even picked colours yet and one of their managers said they can't refund me as they've already ordered my shutters???

I let them know I'm dissatisfied with the product and do not wish to go through with the order as they can't offer a solution that wouldn't devalue my property or leave me unsatisfied with the quality of work.

They claim I had a 48 hr cooling off period from the time of initial deposit (24th of Jan) to cancel, yet they sent someone out 14 days from the date of deposit ( 4th of Feb). Meaning the cooling off had expired before I even was shown the product in person or told the scope of their work and how it would sit on my property. Surely the team memeber/s involved in quoting up and selling me the product could have informed me of such things. However instead they referenced photos of past jobs that do not correctly represent the scope of work required on my premise. I believe this to be misleading.

The time wasted trying to get a refund for a product that shouldn’t even have been ordered yet, is ridiculous. They gave me some reason about how they order based on what they think you 'll want and projected sales and therefore can't refund the deposit because they’re already ordered my product???

They also had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to upgrade. Going through with this product will cost me more in lost value to my property than purchasing the product itself.

They said they would refund me, only once this review is removed... The review will stand and I Will be paying a visit to QCAT.

Excellent service, amazing shutters. They block out 99.9% of light, are sound deadening by about 15% and definitely make an impact on temperature control in the room. 10/10 would purchase again. Show details
