Uniden iGo Cam 750 Questions

Every time I turn my car on now the igo Cam 70R keeps giving a message of 'Formatting will erase all date', even though the SD card is not full. I acknowledge the reformatting but it still gives the same message when I turn the car on the next time. I have tried 3 different SD cards but same problem. I have tried he reset button but same problem. The camera was bought in August 2022 so only 8 months old.

Ended up scrapping both my unidens, ended up with a navman that had an adhesive pad instead of a useless suction pad that continually let go on a hot window. Quite happy with the navman

I have just come from getting my uniden 755 wired into the car. I have the sd card in and hold down the power button but the unit wont turn on?

My 750 cam keeps turning off on its own accord. will only run for a few minutes then turns itself off. Any help?

I purchased one of the uniden igo cam 755 for my partner Christmas 2016 had only for a week, keeps saying card is full to delete and only does short clips of driving can you link it to make one long journey and if info not saved it re tapes over itself please help

Take it back to where you purchased and ask for a full refund. Under Australian consumer law you are entitled to a full refund. Uniden units are problematic and are rubbish. Uniden are fully aware of this problem but do not want to do anything about it. Go elsewhere and look at dash cams, not Uniden.

I own a iGO cam 750,sometimes while recording the unit screen goes white, I have to unplug it from the car cigarette lighter, and wait for about 10-20 seconds before plugs it back in,to get it working again. I bought it 18 months ago and had no problems until now. I try resetting,Someone please help.

Hi Joe,

I never had a white screen, only the unit stopped recording with a message of unknown format on disc - requesting a reformat.

Then it will not turn on at all. Have thrown the unit away. Don't want to bother with rubbish anymore.

How do I keep my screen display on and is charging of igo 750 only done by cigarette lighter plug?

You can use the USB Cable supplied with the unit.

Try looking in the settings menu under LCD Off

Now on second sd card. Keep getting message " unknown format" and won't format on the cam or computer. Apparently works until card is full - set up to loop.

How do I fix this problem other than keep buying sd cards?

Hi,

I had the same problem. I returned the unit to Uniden and after checking it out they replaced the unit with a new one under warranty. Hope this helps you.
