Pram with room to grow – I bought Valco Quad pram from Babies r us in 2012. I say it's a great pram, best value for money. It's suitable from birth, as the seat can be fully reclined. So saves on buying a separate bassinet for newborn. Expandable hood, large seat space, shopping basket, easy to steel on four wheels and etc. Only problems are no reverse seat option,… Read more

no included accessories plus Valco brand accessories such as drink holder, pram caddy, rain cover and etc are quite expensive to buy separately. I recommend buying at least one drink holder/snack holder and a couple of pram hooks, it really helps organise little things when you are outside.

However it can be turned into a double pram by adding Joey Toddler seat. I used the Quad for my first child for 2 years, then bought the toddler seat after my second kid was born. My two kids are 2+ years apart. Quad with toddler seat is great option to transport my kids.

Absolutely love the Quad!! – I bought this pram second hand to take travlling, due to it being more compact and lighter than our initial pram (City Select), and I believe Valco have discontinued this model? Anyways, I love, love, LOVE this pram!! It has so many positive features: # Compact to fold, and only weighs 10.5kg (9kg exactly, if you remove the two rear wheels) #… Read more

Four wheels, pneumatic rear tyres, so its sturdy and can handle difficult terrain.

# The seat fully reclines, which is great for new borns (although, we had the 'Husssh' bassinet attachement, so used this instead).

# It has a 5 point harness, and there is a safety feature in the buckle so that children cannot undo the clips themselves.

# It has a large canopy for shade, which can extend (half way down the pram!), providing excellent shade cover.

# Some great attachements if you have a second child (toddler seat, hitchhiker etc)

# The 'mirror' insect/sun shade provides 80% UV protection, and great ventilation

# We actually have the 'Husssh' bassinet attachement also, and bubs loves this! It is so soft and padded, he easily falls asleep in this, and looks so comfortable (I found that the sunshade can pull over this attachement too, when the hood is fully extended, providing even more coverage).

# Slim enough to fit through isles in the supermarket.

There are only a few things I didn't like:

# The basket is a decent size (however fairly small compared to our City Select), but is difficult to access when the seat is in the fully reclined position.

# I found the steering a bit difficult, and not easy to steer with one hand (when bubs is having a grizzly day, he likes to be carried...a lot. But maybe this is due to age/wear and tear? As all other reviews seem to suggest the steering is great).

# The handle height is adjustable, but not a telescopic handle, so still not the greatest height for us tall people. With that said, there were no issuses with big strides and kicking the underneath or anything like that. I just felt it would be more comfortable if a bit higher.

Excellent – Overall, I am happy with this pram. The pram choices are endless and it is very important to do your pros and cons. It comes down to personal preference in the end. I settled for the quad because I like the ease of a 3-wheeler but still want the stability / control of a 4-wheeler, so this was perfect for me. Most 3-wheelers are heavy, and this… Read more

10.6 kilo pram was ideal. It is great for shopping centres and supermarket aisles. I like that it is a 4-wheeler however handles like a 3-wheeler. Easy to manoeuvre over different terrains but still has great stability and control. It's lightweight, compact, has a good storage basket with extra side pockets, large expandable hood, peek a boo window is meshed not plastic, so it lets air through. Very easy to fold and unfold. It has an adjustable foot rest. I like the option to add a toddler seat later on. I bought this pram brand new from babies galore; I was surprised that it came with NO accessories. Therefore, it becomes expensive to buy the added options (ie mosquito net, head hugger, boot cover, rain cover etc). But luckily the hood expands down further than most prams so it acts like a sun cover. I would have preferred if it came with at least a head hugger to make it more comfortable for newborns, options cost around $30 - $50 each to buy seperately. Pram already costs between $500 - $700.

Excellent – I have 2 toddlers a year apart in age, I've tried the twin side by side prams. Although they did the trick, it was a hassle to go shopping with it. My eldest son broke the pram so I went searching for a lightweight, easy to steer and manoeuvre over all terrains, pram that could last my youngest for another 2yrs and accomodate my 3yr old toddler… Read more

for the nxt 6mths.

I went and test drove all the prams in the baby shop, also did heaps of research on the net & I kept coming back to the Valco Quad. It suited all my needs and then some extra ones, I got a great deal online with the Valco Quad I bought. I got it online from Baby Kingdom and it was a packaged deal, for the Valco Quad + an included Toddler Seat for $475 all up. It was the best deal ever as to buy all these separately it would've cost me near $900.

I have never had a pram so good, this is by the far the most practical, good looking pram I've ever had the pleasure of owning (I've 5kids) so I've had my fair share of duds. My kids love riding in it & they love to take turns in the toddler seat, they said it was a cool pram. I no longer have problems fitting down the store aisles or going into a shop to have a look at clothes without taking up alot of rm. I get alot of comments on this pram & they're all positive.

Valco are a Good Quality & Trustworthy brand & I highly recommend the Quad to everyone who has either one baby or baby & toddler or 2 toddlers like I have. Love the fact that this pram is so light & easy to manoeuvre. Folds down so compact & fits easily in the boot with plenty of room for shopping etc. All the options you can have with this pram is outstanding, bassinet, toddler seat, super big sun canopy, mesh windows so the fresh air can get into bubs. You can pick from many of the different colours in this Quad, Valco is just a real trustworthy brand. The only negative I would have, is that this pram doesn't come with a raincover.

Great Buying! – I have two prams in fact. One was given to me when I was pregnant and one I bought by myself. And you know what, I just love this pram. This product is very good. Though it is a four wheeler pram it is as easy to handle as a three wheeler one. It folds very easily and you can easily keep it on the car boot. It is light weight but strong. The only… Read more

negative thing I found that I have to buy all the accessories for it as it does not provide anything. In that case, it becomes a little bit pricey. Otherwise I must say it was one of my great buys. Light weight but strong, easy to fold A little bit expensive

Exceptional pram! – This pram is so easy to manoeuvre, it is like liquid compared to other prams, and actually cheaper than a lot of them too! The accessories are fantastic and of very high quality, and functions are very easy to use as well (e.g. reclining the seat, folding the pram etc.). The hybrid style of the pram means it is comfortable to ride over most… Read more

Excellent – A good sturdy, relatively light weight option. It has great maneuverability and does tight spots very well. It's also compact - with the wheels popped off, it fits nicely in the Toyota Yaris! It also comes with some neat accessories (Hussh Bassinet). Price was good too...much more affordable then other American brands that are out there. No… Read more

regrets with this purchase! Absolutely LOVE the Quad!!! Searched hi and low for months, and finally opted for this stroller. It seemed to be a happy medium between light weight but solid and sturdy device! It turns out I was right. There are lighter options out there, but the 11kg is doable. We also got the Hussh Bassinet attachement which is an awesome cost-saving option instead of forking out money for an expenssive bassinet. We used the Hussh with the stroller as our bubs bed for the first few weeks...he looked so cozy and slept so well in the set-up. The Deluxe Raincover is also great as it fits not only the pram but also over the Hussh attachement. I also like the fact that you can attach a toddler seat. Overall I'm very VERY pleased!

Excellent – Fantastic pram, I am definetly happy I brought it. The ease of use puts others to shame, and along with weight capacity, it means I wont bother changing to a stroller, as the Quad is just too easy. This is a fantastic pram, I looked at prams for 5 months before buying this one and I dont regret it, it was the only pram I looked at that I didn't… Read more
