site supervise have been amazing, lovely and informative. We have loved the process so far. We are currently at the end of fixing stage and can not believe how fast our build has gone. Vantage team is amazing and have gone above and beyond in helping us even with things that ain't really their job. The only negative so far is not enough information in the build trend app like what's been done and what's happening next and not enough photos. Would I build with vantage again... yes I plan to. If your first time building confused about any thing and want support throughout the process, go with vantage home.
Defective construction, they don't care - avoid at all costs – I bought a terrace from Vantage in 2017. Turns out, the house has been leaking in the roof due to poor workmanship (short cut flashing), alongside the window in the front of the home, due to improper sealing. within the QBCC period. Vantage's maintenance team don't want to know about it. - I lodge to QBCC, who confirmed I lodged this within the required period to Vantage. - I have independent reports done which confirm the original build issues and leaks and provide these. - Vantage still don't care and ignore it - I now need to take Vantage to QCAT for their shonky trade work, because their Maintenance lead simply does not care.
If you want a builder that a) stuffs up stuff during construction and then b) doesn't care about their shoddy work or reputation and c) causes you a boat load of cost time wise and financially to fix it in the following years, you should pick Vantage. For everyone else, my advice is to simply RUN. Any other builder would be a better option. DisadVantage is all you will get here.

stressful and at times you feel that you are not prioritised however every concern that was raised was addressed with a good outcome. We have been in our home for a few years now and looking back we feel we were lucky to stumble across what was a new company back then. I think the true test is would we build with them again? Poor quality workmanship and unprofessional follow up service – I would recommend you explore other build options before considering Vanatage. band aid solutions. The maintenance team failed on numerous occasions to take ownership of the repairs, often lying to suit their outcomes. I had to engaged third-party contractors to action repairs on the majority of defects. Just to outline a few of the defects that Vantage maintenance failed to take any accountability: * Gutter installed with positive fall resulting in water pooling and damage to the cladding panel. Attempted repair to damage paintwork and left for 18 months. * Roof Leaking and water entering the roof cavity and internal walls. This caused significant internal damage. The leaking roof was caused by gaps in the roof cladding. * Internal stairwell lights recessed incorrectly and wiring not secured causing lights to flicker and short. * Water pipe under the kitchen sink poorly connected resulting in water damage to the timber flooring and base of the kitchen island. * Both upstairs toilets had to be replaced due to incorrect installation to the sewar line. * The majority of paintwork presented with paint runs, splotches and streaks. * Wall patches placed inside cupboards due to poor quality installation of kitchen and laundry cupboards. * Internal sliding cavity door guides installed offset which caused doors to slide at an angle. This meant doors could not be aligned and close flush. The locking mechanisms were installed upside down which prevented doors to be locked. * All internal hinge door handles were installed incorrectly which resulted in handle base plates becoming lose and falling off. When I replaced all the door handles, it was noticed that cardboard had been jammed in the door handle cavity to hold it tight for at least a few months. * Main bedroom flooring installed uneven which caused a noticeable drop towards the balcony sliding doors * Timber stairwell and handrail not sealed.

Build Process was flawless. All downhill since – ***New Entry*** Handed in a maintenance request to have a look at the rainwater tank that is faulty. Sent my request form to the maintenance team, I was told that since 12 months had passed, I had to get in touch with the plumber who was cc’d on their reply. can get in touch with them. The whole point of including the rainwater tank in the build package was so that I only have to deal with Vantage Homes. So it is very disappointing to find my query being passed around. This is horrible service from Vantage Homes, especially their maintenance team. It’s like they don’t bother with the effort anymore coz they already have your money. To potential buyers, BEWARE!!! I won’t delete my original entry just so you can see the difference between their service at the start and how they treat you after.

We have just received the keys to our first home built by Vantage Homes and I can't stress enough how happy and satisfied we are of their work. Their full turnkey package is definitely FULL TURNKEY. It has everything you would need in a new home.
Every member of the team that we dealt with have all been extremely professional and their support was fantastic. As first home owners, there were so many questions and we were quite unsure about how the whole building process works. The team at Vantage Homes made sure that all our questions were answered, even the ones that we haven't even thought of yet. Here's a big shoutout to some of them:
Angela - We have been talking to Angela from day 1 and she is just fantastic. She addressed all our concerns and helped us put together a package that was within our budget, but also included everything you would need in a house. Even after the contract was settled and building has commenced, Angela was always just a phone call away from addressing any concerns we had.
Kalena - From the contracts side of things, Kalena was always very helpful. As a person building for the first time, there were so many technical terms and things that I didn't quite understand and Kalena was very helpful in helping me gain a better understanding of what is happening.
Jason - Our site supervisor. I met Jason when we did our 2nd inspection. He is very professional and will always greet you with a smile. His hard work was instrumental in ensuring that the whole build process flowed smoothly and has resulted in our handover being pushed a week early from the initial estimated handover date. Thank you for making time to accommodate us when my family visited from overseas.

Dion - was the site supervisor for the early stages. I only really dealt with Dion once during the walk through but just like every one else in the team, he was very helpful in answering questions.
Kassandra - Filled in for Kalena when she was away and was just as professional and helpful.
I have already recommended Vantage Homes to two of our friends and will definitely recommend them to anyone looking to build a new home.
