DO NOT PURCHASE – I purchased a home in south West Sydney in the Oran Park development. It has been a terrible experience. From day 1, the agent selling the property promised what we were later told was un-deliverable. From new paint, new lights, piping, cleaning, settlement. All simple aspects that were overlooked from the maintenance and settlement teams. They… Read more
also tried to hide aspects of their settlement contracts as it shows dividends to developers and wouldn't proceed unless we signed without seeing it, i had to hire a lawyer to review, adding $1500 to the settlement fee's. The works they promised to complete by settlement hadn't been started & we have leaking under the ensuite. This is all very familiar feedback to what I have read previously. DO NOPURCHASE.
A Month Delay in Issuing DA Approval – Purchased Lot 829 in Pakenham through villaworld developers. For DA approval, it was not checked for over 30 days. I contacted the architect and Frenken builder emailed my file. Villaworld staff communication negligence caused a construction delay for a month. Show details
Excellent after sale service – Our family has lived in our villa word house for 3 years. Last year we found out our shower room is leaking water to the wall. My sister contacted villa word warranty team to look after this. They came to inspection one time and then scheduled a time frame to fix this problem. Around 1 month waiting, the fixing team came to change a new shower… Read more
room for us. They quickly response to my problem and fix it well. I am very thankful for what they did to keep their words. Their quality is very good compared how much we pay for the house. What they use is good product.
Apparently there is only a 12 month warranty on a 400k house that is supposed to last a lifetime – Kitchen sink pipng was cross threaded amd leaking, rubbish buried in the garden. Roof leaked on the first big rain event. Tv antenna facing wrong direction and when adjusted it still didnt have good enough reception. After not even 2years the grouting between the floor tiles is cracking up. Apparently there is only a 12 month warranty on a 400k house that is supposed to last a lifetime.... Show details
Very happy with our new home! – Building a new home can be a daunting process, and turnkey packages can end up costing more in the long run. This has not been our experience with Villa World Homes - from holding deposit to warranty the entire process has been stress free and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy off the plans - the cost is fixed, there are no… Read more
surprises and their "ambassadors" support you through settlement and during their warranty phase. Customer service has been excellent and they have been more than helpful with warranty items.
Villa World delivers great value for your hard earned coin.
We love our new home!
Villaworld house and land package – All that I can is I hope they have improved in the last few years.. We had one of these built at Sandstone Point 5 years back. We ended up walking away from the contract and lost 5k of my hard earned money to the agent... If I was smarter.. in hindsight, I would have pulled the "subject to finance" clause , but was a bit green then and there… Read more
went my hard earned. In my opinion ,it was badly built from the many broken roof tiles, to the dirty bathtubs with Tradies footprints in them and the front door frame that was 15mm off square preventing the door from closing. Interior was "no choice" brown tiles biege carpet that looked Bargain Basement. Drain pipes were broken from being driven over. I would never buy anything from this mob again, and for the money that they took from me,(No regrets about the termination).I have now learnt a lot, and will never put down a large deposit, and ensure that I have my finance "out" and any other escape plan if I see bodgey workmanship approaching. You've heard of a McMansion.. this was a Mcslum.. It was $321,500 5 years back Next door on the market for way too much.. They have not increased in value, as per the Agents suggestion.
