Motor burnt out hardly used it – I purchased this vac from Godfreys in 2017 on their salesman's recommendation as the most powerful cleaner on the market. I have hardly used it as I have cleaners do my apartment once a fortnight and only used it while I was renting for 6 months until I bought my current unit. Went to use it last week after tradies had been in doing air con… Read more

installation. The motor burnt out after using it for 5 minutes. Can't find the receipt but have it somewhere. Pathetic and expensive. Feeling ripped off.

Excellent performer – It has been running quite well for almost 3 years now. One disadvantage is that the brush gets jammed with hair and have to clean up regularly. Otherwise it performs very well when you clean it regularly including the filter. You have to be mindful of the red light when there is not enough suction and produces loud noise. This is when you have to clean it thoroughly. Then it returns to original suction power.  Show details

Would be better with a larger storage – This cleaner manages my 4 x 2 large house but only just. It loses power when getting full. Has good suctiin but once half full on storage it wont suck as well. Have only had it for 5 months and it seems it will last its warranty time and will need replacing.  Show details

It's a beauty – I got this about 3 weeks ago... I have 4 kids dog and a cat and it does a great job! The suction is so strong on high I have to turn it down to below half way, as if lifts the carpet:) Had no probs with it, easy to use easy to empty. Hubby's gonna get one for work, he's a painter  Show details

Best vacuum cleaner I have ever had – This vacuum caleaner is remarkable. It is light weight, not very noisey, easy to pull along behind, easy to empty and does not take up much room for storage. I would recommend this vacuum cleaner to everyone.  Show details

Absolute Rubbish – I agree with other users. Expensive to start with. Filters block up after first or second use and you lose suction. Forever cleaning filters. Motor burnt out in less than two years. Always just outside of warranty of course. Extremely disappointed. Don't waste your money buying this product. Absolute rubbish. Put it towards a more heavy duty vacuum cleaner.  Show details

Cheap and it works – I am happy with the performance suction and it is light and east to maneuver. My floor is carpeted and I live in a big bachelor unit. I would recommend this brand. It is also east to clean. I have tried smaller vacuums but they are crap. I will buy another Volta brand in the future.  Show details

Total rubbish – This is a total waste of money, being a pensioner I had to save hard to buy this cleaner. It has hardly any suction, even when filters are cleaned. Dust only collects around filters, never goes into the dust bowl.I now have given up after 8 months of trying to get this cleaner to work.  Show details

Worst vacuum I have ever owned – Purchased this vacuum not six months ago, looses suction, the power head has failed already. Drives me completely barmy!!! Please someone suggest a bagless vacuum that does work. I only have two rooms which have carpet in them the rest is wooden floors. You wouldn't think it should have this much trouble.

Strong suction doesn't last long. Filter needs cleaning too often – I can not vacuum my whole house without having to clean the filters out, my house isn't too big. Even then, it doesn't work too well unless you wash it. Replacement filters very expensive. Don't purchase it isn't worth the money. Purchased from seconds world, now i know why. LOL

Very powerful, yet quiet for 2200watts – This vacuum cleaner works great as long as the grey, spongy filter gets washed and dried often. When the red light turns on, the filter is clogged and needs a clean. When there's a red light and you hear the sound of air leaking the filter is very clogged and won't suck very well. Compared to other 2200watt vacuums, this one is really quiet. … Read more

The Turbo head is great and spins like crazy when the filter is clean. Emptying the dust canister is a breeze as it all just falls out as one big clump without dust flying everywhere.

Waste of Money And Time – This is the worst vacuum cleaner we have ever purchased. I have just thrown it in the bin. Have had it for less than 8 months, and it has lost suction. You have to empty the cylinder after each use and cleaning the filter is a nightmare. Do not purchase this vacuum cleaner. Waste of money and waste of time. Overheating is a massive issue too.

Worst vacuum I've ever owned! – Husband and I bought this vacuum from Harvey Norman paid over $200 for it. Seriously don't even waste your time with it, absolute piece of crap! The head is poorly designed and constantly gets build up in which is a nightmare to clean. Constantly loses suction. $50 specials at Kmart are way more value for money!!

Just one word awful – I purchased this cleaner 3 months ago having always had Volta and happy with them . Used it once and couldn't get the barrel back together, took it back to store they struggled with it but were successful, used it once more and same issue but was able to get it together. Third attempt no hope.

Excellent little machine! – I bought this vacuum cleaner 2.5 years ago, and I haven't had any problems with it. I live in a two bedroom unit with both bedrooms and the living room being carpeted. I have only recently noticed a slight change in the sound, but regarding the noise level in general it is reasonably low. Absolutely happy with this little machine!

Volta take this vacum off the market – I bought volta sierra vacuum cleaner because it was light to carry up stairs to clean . Every time I use the vacuum cleaner it looses suction . I have replaced 5 filters to see if I could get better suction , no results . I would like to see customer service from Electrolux , because I am tired of wasting my precious time in trying to vacuum with… Read more

this useless piece of equipment and if I have read review pages like this , I would never have purchase this brand. I am now going out to spend more money on a vacuum , but not a volta.

Worst vacuum cleaner I have ever owned – I agree with ES of Warragul I have small home with very little carpet only in two bedrooms tiles across the rest, it is absolutely useless, give me back my cheapy from Kmart any time . I would be too embarrassed to give the volta away to someone in need.

Don't buy this vacuum cleaner – This vacuum cleaner only works when the filter/bagless vacuum is empty and pristine. I have a one-bedroom apartment with very little floor space and it does not cope at all. It lost suction virtually straight away as soon as it barely started filling up. Constantly having to clean it after every single use is a waste of my time and the product should work better than this. Miele here I come. Volta - get this off the market.

Hate this vaccum cleaner! – I bought this as a mid-range vaccum cleaner as I thought it would do better than the cheap brands - how wrong I was. No suction whatsoever, red light is constantly on, makes a 'blocked-up' noise constantly, where I'm trying to get stuff out of the hoses. I won't buy this product ever again. Lost the receipt so it will be going into the bin and… Read more

will have to use a broom until I can afford another vacuum cleaner. Not impressed one bit!!!!! Would give a minus if I could. Don't waste your money!

Disappointed with life span – Great machine when it is going. Suction suddenly stopped working when I was going to vacuum the house. Luckily, it is still under guarantee but greatly disappointed as it is only 8 months old. Still waiting for it to be returned from the workshop or to be replaced. Certainly not very reliable in terms of its life span but excellent suction before… Read more

this problem occurred. I will not buy this again and will try other brand in the future. Excellent suction and the head is very efficient. Easy to clean the contents. Needs emptying each time after vacuuming. Suction lost after 8 months use.

Had the vacuum cleaner repaired and is still going since. Excellent performance. Probably a chance defect but all good now.

great vacuum cleaner I have ever used – I read other two reviews from here. they made me not to buy this vacuum cleaner. however, I bought this vacuum and could not find a single negative point in that. I think this is a great machine. it comes with a spare filter and Turbo pet hair nozzle which is very handy even if we don't have pets but human hairs cannot be sucked by normal nozzle. I give 5 stars to this great machine. reliable, powerful no cons

Volta Sierra 2200 is awful!! – I just bought a Volta Sierra 2200V & it is hands down the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever had. It always jams, it over heats and I am forever taking it apart and cleaning the filters. The red light is always on, indicating that I am "full". My house is very tidy (I have all tiles & 9 month old, no pets) I didn't buy a dear vacuum as I only needed… Read more

it for every day very light use! Buy another make, model or go the full monty and get a Dyson if you can. By the way, the one year warranty is a joke!! They sent it to get repaired, left me without a vacuum for a month and it was just as rubbish when it came back. This is the first review I have ever written - I think it that awful! Don't mess with a tired mom and her vacuuming needs!! It has a hose and plugs in the wall.
