After seeing the attention to detail in the workmanship, it feels like I made the right choice going with them. While the admin side had some coordination hurdles earlier on, the actual on-site execution and competitive value of the system really stand out. It’s good to have everything powered up and running exactly as expected. I am very happy with the system and already see potential savings in my electricity bills. The app is amazing too as it shows clearly current battery percentage, usage, grid movement and many more things. The support help was great. Prompt response via email. When the battery covers came, they covered the battery very well. The whole solution is now working well. Only small issue is I had to install a wifi extender from my router in order for the communication device to have access to the wifi signal. Show reply
Follow-up · There is no noise or sound. Installation was over a whole day. After a month or so, found that i needed a wifi repeater as shown in attachment photo. Cheap solution for a full solution. The canopy covers are in fact necessary to keep the operating temperature of the batteries within a recommended range.

to drop in for a site visit but they didn't want to. Finally, through a bit of photographing and measurements, we found a suitable location for the installation.
The quote stated that the the batteries & inverter installed, within 10m of switchboard, free of charge but I was told that the installer wanted me to supply a 10cm conduit and he would provide conduits for the rest of the installation. I offered to buy the 10cm conduit from the installer but was told to go and buy the 10cm conduit from Bunnings.
I contacted the salesman by text (as he was too busy) to explain him the issue, and asked him to find out then let me know. However, no reply from him.
If the small issue is ignored from the start, imagine when things go wrong with installation or the system is not working.
I have no confidence in the company to go ahead and install their inverter & battery system, therefore have filled out the online cancellation form and to get my deposit refunded.
I paid a deposit for a 30.3kw Battery in August 2025 for an install early 2026. Since then after many phone calls, emails and even a text to the original salesperson, I have received two replies both telling me it is "in the system, you will be contacted shortly." I have always been polite but finally I threatened legal action (email May 19th) and they responded with "Once a suitable installer and schedule are confirmed, the team will contact you directly with an update." on 25th May. The wording is the same as the only other response on Feb 4th 2026. Can't complain about the service as there isn't any :-( There is a lot more to this story but maybe later.....
EDIT: Well I didn't think I would be writing this edit, but here I am. After instigating a case with NCAT, coincidentally(?), a few days later I had a phone call with an install date. The date came and the crew arrived an hour early and "Presto" I now have my 10+30kw battery and working beautifully I might add. Thanks VoltX for finally doing it but please!!! BETTER COMMUNICATION!!!

the technicians arrived on time, worked efficiently, and completed everything to a very high standard. I was especially impressed with how neat and professional the installation looked. The cabling was done very cleanly, and any drilling or wall work was finished carefully with great attention to detail. Once they left, there was nothing extra for me to clean up or take care of—it was all completed perfectly.
After the installation, the technician took the time to explain how the battery system works in detail and answered all my questions clearly and patiently, which I really appreciated.
It’s now been about a month since the installation, and I’m extremely satisfied with the battery. Being able to monitor in real time through the app and see the solar energy being stored in the battery has been fantastic. Since installation, our grid usage has been close to zero, and the battery has been powering the house without any issues.
Overall, I’m very pleased with both the service and the quality of the battery system. A big thank you to Voltx Energy for the excellent installation and great customer experience. I’d be happy to recommend them to anyone considering battery storage for their home.

System was installed on 13/2/2026 and hasn't worked since 25//5/2026. Initially, they blamed my wifi not working and an update failing to complete. I have requested replacement and now they won't reply to emails for more than a week. Have sent details to NSW Fair Trading due to their failure to repair or replace my system. Not confident in their product lasting to the end of their 10 years warranty if it fails after 3 months. Wouldn't recommend at all. Dodgy product and useless backup support.

The solar battery 28kwatt power neovolt installed by voltx just begging of the winter. It is a mixed experience as sunny days become impossible as always dark and merely 2 hours of intense sunlight observed. I can see solar charges the battery and 20% charged and used. I cannot get a full history of charge until it become 100% to the battery to obtain an outcome n to provide a better response in review.

the wrong battery. This was eventually sorted but lead to delays.
The installers arrived on a weekend when Voltx customer service was unavailable. The team working on the panels did not speak English and proceeded to install the new panels without the tilt kits, failed to retrofit the existing panels onto tilt kits, and the install teams did not connect the existing panels to the new battery at all. Unfortunately this was discovered only after they left the premises when my son was available to get on the roof and check - the inability for me to communicate with the team or Voltx customer service no doubt exacerbated this issue.
When I contacted support about these issues, I was repeatedly told that installing the panels flat was “fine,” despite me providing technical documentation for the installed panels recommending they always be tilted, as well as evidence that I was quoted and sold an installation including tilt kits for both sets of panels.
After extensive and time-consuming back and forth, they eventually agreed to send a team back to complete the installation as originally quoted. That agreement was made in March, and I am still waiting for a team to complete. Despite following up weekly, I have been given no ETA or timeframe for the rectification work.
This past weekend a team turned up to fix these issues. They were given both not enough and the incorrect tilt kits and couldn't do any work. Again no one answered the supplied customer service phone numbers, despite reassuring me they would definitely be contactable this time (my first question when they told me the works would happen on a Saturday).
