Could not fault – TP and Jnr arrived at precisely 7.30. They were efficient and took excellent care of all our belongings. Huge truck that took all our contents with ease. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

A very happy customer!! – Downsizing so not a huge amount of furniture for a 5 km move. The guys were on time and efficient. They worked in a professional manner and had me moved and set up in new home within the 3 hour minimum. Fast, Efficient, Friendly – Very punctual, our move was approx 8km from a 3 bed house to another 3 bed house. The guys worked in an organised manner. We were very satisfied and will recommend them.

Friendly and efficient – It was a relatively small move to a house about 20 minutes away. The guys arrived at exactly the time that was scheduled and loaded the truck efficiently. During the unloading they continued to work despite the intermittent rain, and were happy to place items in the various rooms as directed. TP and TP Junior were very friendly, efficient and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending WA Moves.

Great job! – Excellent job all round for our move from Perth to Bridgetown. The whole team from office to removals were a pleasure to deal with. The team worked very efficiently, took great care with our things and nothing was too much trouble. I was also super impressed by the way they managed to maneuver their truck around some pretty tight corners! Brilliant! – We had to move 2 houses into one from different locations. Both moves were on hot days but the team from WAMoves were exceptional. large house to a small place. We had also heard the removalists are rarely on time and work slowly to charge more. Well we were please to greet TP and his son Junior at 7:30am exactly the time they had promised. The worked systematically and very efficiently to load the truck without being deterred by the rain! They were polite, cheerful, hard working and incredibly strong! They completed the work within the estimated time without any fuss. My wife and I were delighted with the outcome. The only movers you will ever want to use! – I can not recommend WA Moves enough. We moved from a double story to another double story (across the road!) and the guys were careful, efficient and amazing in getting everything moved safely. Nothing was too much trouble for them. This is the second time we used them and will use them again and recommend all family and friends use them for any move they might have.

Could not have done it without them! – The boys arrived right on time to move us from our 3 storey townhouse to a 2 storey home. Reasonable price and great service – We moved from a 3 BR plus studio house to a 3 BR plus studio house yesterday . TP and TP jr were punctual, efficient and handled all of our furnitures and fragile boxes with care. They arrived at ours on time, efficiently loaded and unloaded everything in one trip. It took us 5.5 hrs to complete which was in the estimated complete time frame (5-7 hrs). Thanks TP and TP jr for a stress free move!

Stress Free – Thank You WA Moves, we moved 4x2 from Perth to Bunbury Packed and delivered on time. All white furniture perfect when it arrived. Admin and men went well above my expectation. Took all the stress away.

Perfect move – Picked up on time, from the storage depot and delivered to our house in good condition. Both removalist's did an excellent job we have a 3 by 2 house (double story). Did not touch or scratch any of the walls, finished in quick time.

Excellent Movers – WA Moves provided excellent service. The guys were on time and moved our 3 bedroom household with minimum stress. This included a home gym. It was a really hot day but the guys just got on with the job. They were careful and skillful at packing the truck. They were also polite with a "can do" attitude and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

The only problem we experienced was trying to manoeuvre a treadmill into a room which looked like an impossible task from the start but the guys continued to try and achieve the impossible before finally conceding it wasn't going to happen. When it came time to pay there were no surprises and the charge was exactly as agreed. Dealing with TP and Junior and also Sahara in the office was a pleasure and l would recommend W A Moves without hesitation.

Be aware of WA Moves – We contracted WA Moves as they had estimated/quoted the best price. One of the other companies quoting us had ‘warned’ us that WA Moves might underestimate their price. We decided that, as WA Moves’ estimate/quote was around $2000 and the other companies were a bit over $2900 and $3700 respectively, WA Moves could ‘be allowed’ to underestimate… Read more

quite a lot and still be cheaper than the rest. So, we went with them! Should NOT have done that!!!

I sent an email about our concerns about the move (which happened on the 29/11). WA Moves wrote back; ‘I will attend your home to view the items that you have concerns about’. Later (15/1) [name removed] (from WA Moves) instead wanted to, over the phone, discuss in detail the pictures that I had sent them regarding the individual items that were damaged/soiled during the move. [name removed] was VERY loud and abusive, and he sounded very much like a typical bully. He even accused us of being “nasty’ to his two packers (one being the Office Assistant/his girlfriend) by friendly having asked them (at around 6.30 pm) how much longer they estimated it would take before they were done! We did this for three reasons; firstly it was getting late (1.30-7 pm) so we felt sorry for them, secondly I needed to get our car out (they were parked behind me in our driveway) to go and pick up dinner that we had ordered (the whole kitchen had just been packed into boxes and I didn’t want to disturb them unnecessarily) and thirdly because [name removed] had estimated that the packing would take 3-4 hours (it became 5.5 hrs).

I, according to [name removed], should have UNDERSTOOD, when he in early December (after our move) wrote ‘It would be of huge interest to me to see that assessment’ that he wanted me to send him the actual quotes/assessments from his competitors (which I didn’t think sounded very professional at all)! I didn’t at all read THAT into his sentence above and therefore I instead wrote some comparison calculations between the three different quotes/assessments. Because I did that and not what HE wanted, [name removed] refused to reply to my email, so I didn’t hear a word from him on neither my email from 12th December, nor the friendly reminders on 20th December and 7th January. He waited over a month until he called me on the 15th of January

[name removed] estimated our removal to take 8-9 hours with 3 men (an approx. total of 25.5 hours). Instead, it took 4 men a total of 46,5 hours. That’s a whopping 82 % “time quoting error’ on his behalf, even using his tablet and us selling and getting rid of so many more things than we originally had planned. The cost for us landed at close to 100 % more than WA Moves quoted/estimated.

On WA Moves’ website it states: “We are a WA family owned and operated furniture removal business, with a huge emphasis on Reliability and care. We treat your goods as if they were our own and ensure great care is taken for the whole process, with full insurance available for complete peace of mind. Customer satisfaction is key to our reputation, and it’s something we take very seriously, so you can rest assured that your possessions are safe in our hands. We are committed to offering residents a high quality service, highly trained within the processes and procedures of the removals industry and have full police clearances. With over 35 years of experience amongst our staff we continue to work collectively to ensure that Our approach is second to none.’

Do not at all trust this because after stating that they have a “full insurance available for complete peace of mind’ the owner wrote that “we will not be accepting any negligence or liability’!!! It was not us causing a glass to break, soiling a sofa cover by putting cushions on the footpath, causing a scratch on a glass cabinet, dinting our fridge, marking and making indents on paintings, soiling the sofa bed by putting it on its side on the footpath even though it does have four feet, soiling our mattress all over even after promising to take good care of it, scratching chairs and bending the stand of my electric scooter making the stand now 100 % unusable, it was all their “high quality service’ staff.

I wanted to give them three stars, because they did work very hard on the moving day, but when the estimation is THAT far off and especially when the owner wrote ‘we will not be accepting any negligence or liability’, then that is the last nail in their coffin!

It didn’t even help to take them to Consumer Protection. He still wouldn’t budge!!!

Be aware!!!
