had second system for a year and it’s well worth the money we have saved a lot Of money and also had power go out for 6 hours a few times as happens a lot on Russell Island It’s great to have the emergency power to kitchen power points and all lights and fans We highly recommend Watts Up Solar

Who not to use! – Inverter developed problems, wanted to change me hundreds of dollars just to diagnose even though still under warranty. The were to organise a visit, never happened and they are now ignoring me (months have now passed). Wouldn't trust their diagnosis even if they did attend. Great to deal with when they want the sale, but will not honour their warranties.

Hopeless. [Name Removed] the owner doesn't care about much other than money – After a blackout I called to say that both batteries did not work even though they were installed 3 months prior. [Name Removed] said to turn your wifi on and it will work. 2 month after the ombudsman sent 2 electricians, 9 hours later the system still didn't work. Took another hour to kick it on. It has cost an extra $10k to sort this as they wouldn't reply hence the ombudsman. Show details

I heard banging on the verandah outside and was shocked too see some guy with a beenie sunglasses and a mask on I said who are you .no answer he walked past me twice i said in a loud voice who the [Content Removed] are you the guy said ring [Name Removed] i did once i knew who they were i said too the short one with small man syndrome with a didgeridoo in my hand YA COULD HAVE JUST TOLD ME WHO YA WERE YA [Content Removed]...the battery has never worked..not once. Over 10 000 dollars spent and 100 dollars pw they claimed oh your WiFi is not set right .we bought a second WiFi someone came out still no go.[Name Removed] rang [Name Removed] I believe his name is only too be treated like a tool.and this bloke had the stones too swear at him. We lost power for 3 days over Xmas.the unit stayed off...I sent a message on behalf of my very old land lord and I said I would do a review off there businessThe response is we will only come out if [Name Removed] that's me is not there.this is a tactic used by con men too put it over vulnerable elderly people. This is part 1 of my review that I will update in 7 days.i will post this and part 2 hear and on over 50 review sites and update weekly until this in my own opinion elderly abusing con job of a business fixes there stuff up .if not my uncle who is a litigation barrister for law firm will be hired and the bill will start running..in my own opinion these worms don't deserve anything but an intention to sue letter but they have now been given public warning. I will again contact the elder abuse hotline abuse hotline then send them this review. Great Sale & Install, issues afterwards but since then Company improving – After install I gave a 5 star rating. We were really happy with sales process and install. 2 months after install we realised the switchboard had been reorganised and now labelling was incorrect. attempted to have these issues sorted multiple times over the next months. Then during a major power outage found our Sungrow battery did not charge on sunny days and shortly after the battery died completely 18mths after install. This all got fixed under warranty. We were frustrated with these issues and the time it took to sort so I edited this review to decrease stars. However since this we have found Watts Up staff to all be great to deal with. We have had need of their help and have had prompt, friendly and helpful response. Furthermore we went with them again to up our battery capacity and this time the experience was even better than the initial install. We had some questions and issues pertaining to our new power company (Amber) who now controls our battery and each time we have had tremendous level of responsive efficient support. Thus I have returned my review to 5 stars as believe this company attended to its issues and have made massive change to ensure the very best of service by the very best of peopleat all times.

The Real Deal – I'm the customer from hell. I'm suspicious, picky, and nowhere near as knowledgable as I like to imagine. have provided some opportunity for the unscrupulous, and I've met a good few of these operators, thankfully resisting their sparkling deals and the inevitable regret. Caveat emptor! My time for energetic change had come, with power bills rising and the planet dying, but thankfully a mature evolving technology ready to save the day. All I needed was someone genuine to help make my world a little sunnier.

I did my research. I checked the list of CEC accredited retailers, picked a few, and gathered quotes. With each one I asked about cutting costs, even if it meant cutting corners. One retailer refused to cut and compromise to nab the sale. That's Watts Up doc.

Don't forget the other benefits as well. You can sell the excess power and actually sell power out of your battery when you have excess. I haven't paid an electricity bill since being here and currently we have several hundred dollars in credit. The installation and follow-up service was a breeze. Not that I'm selling my house but if I was to buy again putting solar and a battery would be on the list of things to do first.

had one (user operator error and they were quick to visit, work it out and improve our knowledge. The online app means they can error check remotely. They are very quick to respond. I would have no hesitation in recommending. When we need a new system in another 25 or so years, we will be asking for Smiley.
