The movers didn’t even arrive until 8:50am, already putting the entire day behind schedule from the beginning as it was a 7.00-7.30am arrival booked. To make matters worse, they then went to the WRONG address, causing even more unnecessary delays and frustration. The driver was completely unhelpful the entire time — he sat in the truck drinking coffee while everyone else did the work. Even after seeing me physically helping his workers nonstop, the driver still refused to lift a finger to assist. I spent over THREE HOURS doing constant trips up and down helping the two removalists because otherwise this job would have dragged on for several more hours. It is absolutely unacceptable that I was forced to do this after paying over $6,600.00 for a “professional” service. The only reason I couldn’t continue helping was because some of the larger items were simply too heavy for me to safely manage. **however let me be very clear the gentleman who spoke almost no English worked the hardest he was good you need him as a company representative. How ever I am now aware that you as the company “We Move Sydney” outsourced this job should have been advised to me as I would never have engaged your services if I had known this. To top it off, the driver actually suggested I pay cash so they could “save on GST,” which is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. The driver also tried pressuring me into agreeing to a second truck despite the fact I had already provided a detailed inventory list of all furniture and belongings beforehand. For the amount I paid, there is absolutely no excuse for this level of poor planning. While the truck was packed reasonably well, there was clearly still leftover room available, making the push for another truck even more questionable ($2,500.00 cash - again). I specifically told the workers to let ME remove the bed legs from the bed bases to avoid damage. They ignored me and assured me it was “fine.” Upon arriving in Queensland, I discovered one of the legs has now been broken off. I made it crystal clear — both to the driver and another gentleman I spoke with multiple times yesterday afternoon — that I needed three very basic things done upon delivery: Hook up the washing machine Plug in the fridge Set up the king bed in the master bedroom NONE of this was done. Not one single thing. According to my neighbour, the removalists were so focused on rushing the unload that they were practically throwing items around just to get out faster. Furniture has been dumped randomly throughout the house with no care or consideration whatsoever. I was then forced to move heavy furniture around myself after an exhausting 12-hour drive simply so I had somewhere to sleep for the night and will have to continue to do so or employ additional people to help move furniture around as I can’t lift heavy items on my own. I have also discovered damage to the walls caused during the move, adding further to the careless and reckless way this entire job was handled. At this stage, I am still unaware of what other damages or issues I may eventually uncover because I have not yet had the chance to fully inspect everything properly. After the past two days, including nearly 12 hours driving, arriving to this complete disaster has been nothing short of a nightmare. This has been one of the most stressful, exhausting, and unacceptable service experiences I have ever dealt with. Photos of the condition I found the house in upon arrival are attached for reference. To make matters even worse, EVERY light in the house had been left on all day after the removalists left. One of the bathroom heat lamps had also been left running along with the extractor fan, which is completely careless and irresponsible. Leaving appliances and heat lamps switched on after leaving the property is unacceptable and could have easily created a serious safety issue. Every single corner, wall, and doorway throughout the house appears to have been scratched, marked, or damaged during the move. This is especially upsetting considering the property was freshly painted only six months ago and was in excellent condition prior to today’s delivery. The way furniture was left positioned throughout the house, as shown in the attached photos, also placed both my property and furniture at risk of being damaged by rain. Windows had been left open, and due to the way furniture was stacked and dumped around the rooms, I was physically unable to safely access some of them to close them myself. Given the issues outlined above, including the delays, lack of assistance, damage caused, and the overall standard of service provided, I believe it is reasonable to request appropriate compensation and a full refund. I would appreciate being contacted as soon as possible to discuss a resolution.

Sorry, do not recommend – Cost us close to $1000 to move a small 2 bedroom unit an 8 min drive (Glebe to Camperdown). They needed two trips and see photos for the first load (poorly loaded, didn’t prioritise fridge and couch, vintage lamps and other items were thrown in and not secure, had to return for big items). they had to do it 20 mins before the job (we had booked well in advance) and therefore were very slow and tired. They also took 30 mins to get back to Glebe for the second load. Sorry, absolutely do not recommend. Expensive and unprofessional with little respect for our things.

of my furniture and had one modular sofa, a fridge, 2 mattresses, a table, an elliptical and then numerous boxes and bags I thought awesome their website suggests 2/3 hours for a 2 bedroom furniture and I have less than that. They arrived at 5:30pm, then took 3.5 hours to move everything down a lift and a ramp using my trolley and at times would disappear for 30 minutes with no explanation. It took so long my mum with a shoulder replacement ending up helping them. Then we get to the new house, I told them we had two flights of stairs and made it very clear in the booking. We helped them, bought them dinner and did whatever we could because we could tell they were exhausted and slow. Then it came time to deliver the fridge as the final item and then I get a text for an invoice of $1295 plus numerous phone calls and then a lady who I have no idea who she is walks into my house demanding payment before they’ll bring the fridge up. Mind you this is now 11:30pm at night, I have had my entire day ruined by this inefficiently organised team and now I have some random woman telling me I need to sort out payment and show her or she won’t let them bring up the fridge. At that point I should’ve let them keep the fridge because not only did they take 40 minutes to bring it upstairs they then scratched it on the side on both doors, gave it 2 fancy new foot long dents on the front of the door and then managed to scratch the metal capping on my flooring when they put it in place.

Overall, probably would’ve had better luck paying my mum $1295 and giving her 9 hours to figure it out, she would’ve at least brought trolleys and paid for her own dinner!

move on the day before 4 PM. So, I called a couple of different removalists, none of which said they could do it on the day, until I came across WeMove. They assured me that they'd be able to get us moved that day before 4 PM as long as I gave them a deposit of $100. Hopeful, I gave them the deposit and waited for them to arrive. But they never came. They never even called. The afternoon simply passed and I had to call them to ask where they were. To my horror, not only did they say that they couldn't perform the service on the day, but they also said that I couldn't get my deposit back if I cancelled. In other words, they LIED to me and FORCED me into a contract that I didn't sign up for. And this was just the beginning of what became a nightmare move with their company.

NOT TRANSPARENT - As mentioned above, WeMove asked for a $100 deposit when I booked. But what angered me even more was that I was misled to believe that the deposit contributed to the total cost of $375, which they quoted over the phone AND emailed to me. However, it turned out to be the half-hour "callout fee" (which should have only been $65). So, they ADDED the deposit on top of the moving cost and in the end, it came to $450 for moving only 1 king-sized mattress (NO bed base), 2 desks, 2 chairs, 6 boxes and a few bags across 9.3 km with full lift and locking dock access.

SLOW - Because of their pricing structure, they will take as much time as possible to do your move. The movers they sent DIDN'T even try to fill their dollies with our boxes and bags, making them take more trips back and forth from our apartment to their truck than necessary. And to top it all off, their driver TOOK A COFFEE BREAK (!?) before driving to our new apartment. This completely unprofessional conduct was used to add a few minutes onto their service timesheet, which they used to charge us another $65 for "30 minutes of work", even though they only did 8 minutes out of 30 WITHOUT the coffee break.

LACK OF CARE - our belongings were not treated with enough care. We discovered that a vase, which was a Valentine's gift from my husband, was shattered, our rice cooker was dented, and a number of other property had inexplicable new marks.

NO CONTACT WITH MOVERS - our move was scheduled for 7-7:30 AM, which is BEFORE their "office" hours starting at 8:30 AM, but the movers were 1 HOUR LATE and I had no information or updates because I had no direct contact with the movers.

PLEASE BEWARE - this company looks professional, but they hire people who don't speak good English and use trucks that CLEARLY DON'T belong to WeMove as the truck I had another company's name on the sides of the vehicle.

If you read this, consider yourself warned and AVOID this company at all costs.

The removals team arrived over an hour late but did call at 08h00 to say they were stuck in traffic - and then lied about starting at 08h30 when they only arrived at 08h40. top of boxes that were on their side - resulting in damaged boxes and damaged items. Boxes were dumped in living room rather than being taken to rooms per labels on top of boxes.

The removalists badly scratched the wall of my new apartment and damaged my hall table. They were also incredibly slow to unload the items on the second leg of the trip.

Before I booked 'We Move', I voiced my concerns regarding negative reviews I saw online and their Quality Manager assured me they would 'personally take care of my move'. They didn't. I only heard from them after I had to fill out a form and submit a formal complaint. I should've gone with my gut on this one.

They then offered me a small sum to make up for the damages and then retracted it when I informed them that reimbursement would not be grounds to preclude me from giving them an honest review. So essentially it was intended hush money, rather than reimbursement for damages.

Moving is stressful enough as it is and the experience I had with We Move only made it more stressful. Absolutely would not recommend moving with them.

Side Note: I rented a van and moved a number of items myself including plants and managed not to damage anything or scratch the apartment walls.

included wrapping the glass doors with blankets to be stood up in the truck. The quote is attached, with the line highlighted. I paid the $100 deposit over the phone.

I got a paid invoice for the wrong job (much more expensive) later that afternoon, which when I called them for an explanation, they apologised and confirmed there'd been an error. I was a little concerned, but hoped it would all work out on the Monday when they turned up.

Come Monday morning, the guys turned up nearly an hour later than I was told in my booking. Once they saw the doors, the driver said there was an extra cost to wrap the doors (which was supposed to be included in the initial quote). I didn't understand why it would be more, since there was a discussion with the [Name Removed] on the phone initially (I have the recording of the call). In any case, I needed them to get moving given we were already running behind, so I told him to wrap the doors and load them in rather than waste time sorting it out then.

When I went to settle the bill, there was a misunderstanding on the total outstanding. The person from accounts I spoke to said "you acknowledged with the driver that there was a charge for wrapping" which I agreed but since the quote says wrapping, I assumed the service included it. Suffice to say, it was confusing. Instead of $100 wrapping, they discounted it to $77, which I think is a pretty ordinary concession on their part.

The doors arrived without damage. The 2 guys in the truck were polite and worked hard, they were just late.

I would have been fine with the whole experience, if the company had not stung me for the wrapping in blankets. Their billing is either dishonest or disorganised.

I won't be using them again.

Thousands in damages and we were promised an insurance claim. This claim never came through. They sent us an additional invoice for $5000 which we paid half on the proviso we could make a claim for damages. Even after many emails and photographic evidence of our damages items… they did not fulfill their promise for an insurance claim. Damaged items and underquoted – Underquoted - ended up paying double their quote. Broke and damaged several items of mine and hid the damage, did not see until they left. and furniture down because we knew they were going to take too long and we had a short time frame. There was a language barrier and when u expressed that they were taking too long and I called the head office they were becoming aggressive and trying to intimidate my sister and I, demanding more money and just smiling in our faces. The guys started arguing in another language and not listening to me, they completely damaged the walls of my unit when moving out by forcing furniture when I told them it wouldn’t fit. They ruined my lounge, mattress, new properties walls also, tv unit and other things. They then tried to demand more money while trying to physically intimidate my sister and making her very uncomfortable with their weird behaviour. I lost my bond and had to throw my furniture out, I have gone back and forth for the last 20 months and I still have not been compensated despite being told I would be. I was overcharged more than I was supposed to pay. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

every piece of furniture safely upstairs. Their work ethic was exceptional, and their politeness truly stood out. I haven’t experienced this level of professionalism and courtesy from movers before—especially under such tough conditions. Even after the long, exhausting climb and multiple trips up those stairs, both Ryan and Rami remained kind, patient, and highly professional right to the end. Very expensive service – The cost of my move 2.7 klms away was $1800. This was for 2 bedrooms that had furniture and the main living areas. Wrapping was a $300 included in the price. I can’t belive the move cost that much. The removal men were very friend and helpful I must admit that.

Great company to deal with. Moving, by nature is a difficult experience and you need positive support when moving – Great and efficient booking experience with added flexibility as our move was not to the final destination thus we had to use their storage facility. The movers called to say that they will arrive in 15 min sure they were punctual and within 30 minutes all the goods were in the back of the truck. Will rate the next experience from storage to final destination. Finally their rates including storage are very competitive.

they were trying to stay as long as possible until it hit 5pm, then all of a sudden they rushed. I even helped them move things off the truck because I wanted them to hurry up. Absolute [Content Removed]. In addition they charged me call out fee, fuel levy, wrapping, $220, all they wrapped was a tv and tv cabinet and a heavy lifting fee of $110. There was nothing that weighed more than 60kgs. I will spread the word to anyone that listens! Total [Content Removed]. Do not use them!!!!!!! they charge in 30 min intervals - so this was time wasted). Despite me finding them chilling out, they didn't budge or get to work. Only after I said I'm not paying for this and started a video, we had a bit of discussion, the removalists threatened to cancel “you call the head office and cancel then. Cancel the order. We will unpack.” This would have left both myself and my partner in breach of our leases and with our belongings on the street. My partner and I ended up doing most of the moving. Because of the laziness of the removalists, the time they charged was just as much as I was quoted for the more expensive ("big branded") removalists - wish I booked with them. Genuinely was a horrible and stressful experience. The removalist then held my belongings hostage until we paid their invoice in full (even despite the fact that they knew I caught them taking a lengthy break).

Bad experience - damaged goods – Not recommended - the removalists ripped the strap on my mattress and when I followed up with customer service the removalists stated they didn’t recognise the damage

Shakedown – Stay away. A shakedown from the start. No interest in customer service. Only objective of management and the staff was to milk the job for extra fees and or extra cash for "out of scope work". If the item is "too heavy" it is "out of scope". involving elevation is "out of scope" and costs an extra $100. None of this is made known at time of booking. Deliberately delay to push the time on job to outside the prepaid minimum.

Best removalists to date – Move included furniture for a 2 bed apartment + balcony equipment. Travel distance approx 20km. The removalists were on time. Arrived at 730am as requested. Took them 2.5 hours to complete the job. Left them to do the work n’ they did not muck around. They were very professional. Really happy with the service!

stacked my belongings in a very fast efficient manner.  That trip cost me approximately $537.00

This time around how ever i was extremely disappointed!  My removal time was set for 7am. The men did not arrive until 7:45am.  When they got out of the truck they spent 10 or so minutes looking at what i had.  which was much less then the previous as i removed lighter boxes 8 to be precise. Then they basically made a mess of the workshop placing objects here there and everywhere to get to my fridge first. 

They were extremely slow in packing the truck for

1 fridge, 2 lounges, 2 mattresses, bed slats, a small desk, washing machine (7kg) and  dryer( 7kg)  dismantled table, 6 bedside tables, 2 dismantled beds, 1 tv, dismantled coffee table, low line tv cabinet, and approximately 8 or so boxes, 2 being extremely fragile and clearly marked fragile and list of contents.  Which took them almost and hour and a half maybe more to load up. 

The trip to the new residence was 5.1 kms approximately 5 min drive give or take.  When they arrive i told them to proceed around the back as it was more level and only 5 steps and a large back door.  They had a large double gate opened and flat surface to walk on. They took even longer to unload the truck. as i was under the assumption they were being extremely careful with my things, it got to 10.50am and they were still bringing things in.  Then the removalist comes to me and tells me it is $600 dollars after he spoke to his manger, i almost choked and asked if i could please speak to his manger.  I do not recall his name he said,  “I was already discounted“  and i told him the my quote was $412 and that how could it amount to $600 ( when it was much less travel and less from last time i moved which was much much further away and a double story home) was moved then the previous move. He was not budging. I said “im paying cash“  and he just said “He will take GST off “ which he said it “was $20 “ but to my calculations Gst on $600 is $60.00. And that “he will give me a big discount next time i move “ and i said “i will not be using your services again”. He also mentioned that “ how are we meant to make money”.  I left the call very upset and One removalist then proceeded to watch me retrieve the cash money i counted $500 into his hand as i already had put down the $100.00 deposit. Then said “$100.00 more” I then looked at him and said “ No i already put down $100 deposit and it would be $500.00 remaining”.  He was told “600.00 cash” completely dismissing the previous $100.00 deposit.  I said “ so its 700.00!!” 

I then asked him to call back his manger. As i was so upset due to the price, And we had words again. I said “ 700.00 dollars!! To move me.. and we was like fine $600.00 the original price he already said. And then i just agreed to disagree and reluctantly paid the $500.00 flat, and that was then end of the conversation. Upon Removalistsleaving, they made me check the truck to prove it was empty, then the removalist asked me to write a google review, i told him i would and me demanded me do it right in front of him. As he would get more work. I reluctantly wrote a passage in my notes stating “ Removalists were very good very careful in removing my belongings to my new house.” He then he took a picture of the passage. Apon getting to my belongings to unpack then the 2 boxes marked “fragile” where upside down and most of my glasses and plates and other frigle items were broken. Which would have been due to mishandling as they were packed carefully…   Please note  i opened the boxes prior to moving the second time round and made sure everything was ok from the last move and re taped and packed carefully. 

I am completely unhappy with my last service. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN I asked to be refunded to me after all the money i have spent replacing my glass wear and crockery. Which dosent even amount to what i spent on replacing everything. I also included a screen shot of money spent replacing everything I phoned up that afternoon and spoke to a lovely receptionist and she said she would have someone call me back to discuss and she also said she would send me a receipt of the $500 cash that i paid. I have not received the receipt to my knowledge  And i have not received a call back. I phoned to day 2/08/2022  And spoke to a lovely man who directed me to construct an email.

Fast forward the only resolution that came through today $50 refund and $50 off next move!!! ATROCIOUS!!!! The latest update finally took action due to me writing this was basically black mailed to take down this review to get some money back i did offer to alter the review. Which obviously they were not happy about so have heard nothing back!!!!

Do NOT hire this company – Studio apartment move took 5 hours (they also showed up 1.5 hours late without calling) and as soon as I paid ($720) they couldn't get out of there fast enough - before I could realise they intentionally reassembled a bed incorrectly and in such a way that for me to correct it myself it will mean needing to rip off the lining behind the bedhead.… Read more

After 4 months of ignoring me the company offered me $120 in compensation if I would remove my google review (so they can con others). You can see from the photos how they haven't even bothered trying to match up the bed bracket with where it's supposed to be screwed in and have just drilled in at their convenience - assuming because they lost the original bolts or were just outright lazy. Possibly both. AVOID this company at all costs. Also, they don't know how to reinstall washing machines (or just don't want to).
